>driving fast is fun, isn't it??
>too bad there's traffic everywhere and you will watch a cutscene of you crashing every time and also lose tons of time every time, have fun lol
I don't get this game, I swear to god.
>driving fast is fun, isn't it??

Skill issue.
I'd rather play Dirt Rally if it's supposed to be hard, arcade games are meant to be fun, sorry. Also the controls are not very precise.
Skill issue. Keep crying retard. Sorry your motor-skills are so bad you get btfo by an arcade racer pre-teens used to play.
Just say you prefer something else and spare yourself the public humiliation.
>Skill issue.
Yes and no. Could I put more effort to become better? Sure. But the game just isn't fun enough.
>Sorry your motor-skills are so bad you get btfo by an arcade racer pre-teens used to play.
The game is notoriously hard, I doubt 1% of said pre-teens bothered to 100%. But then again, you're a mongoloid who can't differentiate between casually playing and actually beating it.
>Just say you prefer something else and spare yourself the public humiliation.
Oh no I'm so humiliated, won't even sleep at night, great is my shame!
it being hard is part of the fun, if you don't like it that's a sahem but the game is phenomenal
>Also the controls are not very precise.
That's just a straight up lie
This.
My 60 year old mum (well I guess she was in her 40s) beat this game.
If you can't beat Burnout 3 you're worse than a granny.
>she could beat a movie game!
impressive
>My 60 year old mum (well I guess she was in her 40s) beat this game.
Pretty cool.
Thanks, man.
She loves racing games and always did.
The game sucks. Like every game Criterion ever made.
Then don't suck, shitter
The best incentive to play well is to not interrupt the sick ass soundtrack
Don't crash then?
I would if the game wasn't badly designed.
maybe you were badly designed you little pissbaby
Is this Dominator? I don't remember this track
>2004
>that texture res
>picks Formula 1
>3...2...1....GO!
>crashes after 0.5 second
Exactly lol. I dropped the game when they started introducing this shit.
I don't care. If I crash I want to quickly move on and keep racing, I don't want to be stuck.
I would if the game wasn't badly designed. Dumbass.
You can't defend your little game with any rational argument, I see. Cry more.
Ah, there's your problem. Burnout isn't a typical racing series, the crashes are ingrained in the gameplay. Even if you crash you can still crash into other racers to make them crash. If you just want to race then another series with less emphasis on brawling might suit you better, no offense.
>20 year old highly accaimed videogame from a prestigious studio is "badly designed" because some retard on Ganker can't go 3 seconds without crashing
>I don't care. If I crash I want to quickly move on and keep racing, I don't want to be stuck.
You're being punished for sucking.
The further you get in the game, the longer the crashes take. It's too tell you to get better.
Welcome to gen 6 and below, anon. Games force you to get better to have fun.
Maybe investment of time are more up your alley, investments of skill sure are not.
lmao absolutely confirmed skill issue, zoom-zooms brain is fried. Fortnite mentality "I LOST I NEED BACK IN THE GAME NOW NOW NOWWW"
>skill issue
>zoom-zoom
Ganker is your personality.
Difference is that its an interactive cutscene. If you just took a crash without responding like a limp-wristed cuck instead of trying to steer your car carcass on to some sucker behind you with the aftertouch mechanic then why are you even playing man?
Well don't crash dumbass
>tfw you hurl the compact dx AI you're pushing 200mph+ against into an oncoming concrete barrier and their driver doesn't start moving
The problem is even if you play well the game gets boring because races go on for-fucking-ever and the AI is useless. Crash mode is kino though.
traffic is unironically the best thing about Burnout. Slalom around oncoming traffic, pushing your enemies into other cars.
Actual streetracing. Not a faggy polished circuit
It feels like I need to be walking on eggshells all the time because there's so much traffic everywhere.
Fair enough. But the game punishes you too harshly for crashing, the time trials are especially bad.
Acclaimed by who?
>the game punishes you too harshly for crashing
I already mentioned the Aftertouch mechanic that lets you control your car after crashing to hit other racers with it and kill them too. You may not like how it distracts from the actual racing, but as we discussed the game isn't a typical racing game. The focus on crashing and making others crash influences how you have the Aftertouch "cutscene" mechanic in the first place. I don't think it's fair to call it a punishment, it's more like a chance for you to get something out of crashing.
It is different if you're playing alone like in the time trials though, the Thailand market levels are tough with all the tuk-tuks and pillars
>Acclaimed by who?
Me. The game acclaimer.
I acclaimed it, you're just shit.
Youre sposed to gently rub up beside the other cars, not punch in face
Playing this and paradise made me realize that paradises biggest sin is poor camera placement and not bothering to barricade off racing lines. Battling in paradise is almost accidental and you're more like to crash because of the camera not showing something over the next hill.
post songs
But you already posted the best one
Traffic checking in Revenge is fun and I'm tired of pretending it's not.
Traffic checking is great, but I found battling to be too rng focused. It takes forever and feels random whether or not you'll actually get a kill or not. I like the new air shortcuts and many other aspects though.
It's fun, but also makes the game worse. Like playing pyromancer in Dark Souls.
Have you tried avoiding the traffic? You can turn your car with the left stick.
>what if this game didn't punish you? that would be fun
Paradise is better.
>open world instead of well designed tracks
You are wrong and probably underage.
>>open world instead of well designed tracks
It was actually the same with "yellow arrows walls". It's not well designed. You just can't manage the informations that Paradise give you.
Dumb moron.
I've tried to play paradise twice, once when it came out and another with the remaster. I played the fuck out of every game before it, but I just couldn't. It didn't feel like I was racing anyone with the open world track design and just felt lame. Am I missing something? I WANT to enjoy it, but I dunno man
The game tell you which road you are supposed to take.
play Revenge then, it introduced traffic checking, you can hit cars going in the same direction as you without crashing
PS2 version doesn't have the awful bloom so is the best version. Also those playing this on emulators should know that the right analog stick can be mapped to modern controller triggers for more modern controls.
I never liked this mechanic, made the roads safer, the music is better than 3 tho
I'm glade I bought Outrun 2 instead.
