I have my original consoles and copies, plus a crt. I also bought a bunch of stuff for cheap before the retro trend. if emulating is your only option it's understandable, but playing on original hardware is always superior.
Not op - but i emulate on a CRT at 240p.
I have all the consoles, even a neogeo cabinet (4slot), but there's no point in using them when i have everything running flawlessly via a single system.
Just last week, I had a few issues playing Sonic Unleashed on Xenia. Egregious texture filtering in Mazuri plus a lot of frame dips. I tried Sonic 06 for a laugh and the audio lagged. Also tried RPCS3 and 3D Dot Game Heroes, and it crashes consistently after awakening at the inn on the subsequent loading screen. Given how unstable gen 7 emulation has been for me, I don't have much hope for the eventual PS4 emulator.
I've been pretty much a 3DS-exclusive and emulation gamer for the last 15 years. Now 3DS and even Switch emulation is so good I'll probably never buy a new system again.
Ive been emulating the PS2 ace combats and having a great time, what else should I try? I was an extreme poorgay growing up so I definitely missed out on a bunch of stuff
because retro games are lame and gay as hell. tell me you'd honestly rather play fricking Ecco the dolphin over some kino like Stellar Blade. lmao don't kid yourself zoomer, you'll never be a woman and you'll never be a 90s kid
Is Vita3k Android-only and has the dev said it has the chance to emulate local play? I'm trying to look this up but I can't find something concrete aside from a "No" years ago
i'm trying to play three houses on pretty decent hardware with ryujinx and the fps keeps tanking from 60 to 10 multiple times a minute
and the yuzu forks seem to barely be barely have developers on them at all, seems like it really is mostly dead
Playing on real hardware can be a different experience than emulating. Last summer I bought a Dreamcast and played SA2 every day after work for like a month. The system doesn't have any (accessible) online functionality or multimedia features, so there's an increased intentionality whenever I'd turn it on. No streaming services or digital libraries to scroll through or friend messages to check, it was a completely offline experience that was very refreshing and therapeutic. Unfortunately a lot of Dreamcast games and retro games in general are expensive so I've sworn real hardware off for now, but I'll always look back on that part of my life with fondness. Despite all the information the internet has, maybe I'd just be happier without it.

Probably just a zoomer
ps4 is an x86 platform. There isn't a need to emulate.
You are beyond moronic
The average PC cant emulate switch or ps3 without investing in a meme gpu, so no.
>*Laughs in Steam Deck*
This looks like troony shit. You have nothing to brag about.
>Trannies are so rent free in his head he mistakes it in a game he hasn't even played
Trannies is basically just deep state conspiracy but for Ganker

Honestly it's a pretty good life, ngl

Jump on over to /vr/, there's a few PS2 recc threads over there right now
I forget the other Ganker boards exist sometimes, thank you
Great, show me the good Saturn, PS3 and Vita emulators. Oh wait
The former 2 already have good emulators, and Vita3K is improving pretty frequently
>implying RPCS3 is a good emulator
Considering the horrendous monster that is the Cell processor, yeah it is that pretty impressive actually
>oy vey don't forget to buy our $1000 shit80 card
no

Pot kettle something something, kid. Heh
Nostalgia gays with a pinch of snake oil, they really believe CRT look better

no?
Oh cool, I'm moronic. Thanks anons
Not android only, as for multiplayer, I wouldn't count on it at least not for a while
I love double dragon advance
I wish someone could reverse engineer it to have a larger screen like mario and zelda 64

NostalgiaBlack folk don't even like games. They want to pretend Pacman and Galaga and shit are fun instead of actually playing games.
