There's not an "English" or "Japanese" version of 3D Blast's soundtrack, there's a soundtrack for the Mega Drive version and one for the Saturn version.
3D Blast Mega Drive is the best Mega Drive Sonic soundtrack, thoughbeit.

Japanese but Sonic Boom just barely edges out You Can Do Anything for me, both are great but something about Boom makes me want to listen to it over and over again

Japanese but both soundtracks are excellent. People shouldn't be arguing about which is better, they should be appreciating the fact that this game has not just one, but two great soundtracks
shame about the actual game though!

    >English soundtrack
We got the Japanese soundtrack here in England thankfully. The American soundtrack is ok but the Japanese one is godlike.

    Japanese by a landslide.
Some good tracks exist (Tidal Tempest Present, Stardust BF, Boss Theme) but thats it.

The Japanese version of Palmtree Panic Bad Future is one of the best pieces of music in the entire Sonic franchise.

US is good in a vacuum, but its competition is among the top three best Sonic OSTs ever made. The other two are Mania and R

JPN, but some of US tracks are good.

I also like the ED JPN theme more than Sonic Boom part II

Japanese suits the game a shit ton better.
None of its songs are better, only that some work well enough.

Tidal Tempest Present is pretty good and sounds like a SA2 Rouge stage theme.

there are a few decent songs in US, like the bonus theme and Stardust Speedway Bad Future, but I feel like none of them hit anywhere as good as their Japanese counterparts. The only exception is Sonic Boom, but You Can Do Anything is still fine as a track.

US will never be able to compete as it's missing the FM tracks for past.
