        >I mean I'd want more airflow than that
you do know the front of a case is for intake fans, yeah? it doesn't matter if they're covered up, air is sucked in through those side vents. it's only an issue if you're covering up fans that are blowing hot air out of the case, but no such case exists to my knowledge.

Monolith cases are quality though. I've used the same case for up around a decade now, swapped out parts fairly regularly, no broken parts, no hassle, even the dust filters are holding up just fine.

I love my hdd trays, added a filter to the front panel and turned off rgb too. I put a dvd and a drive drawer for storing knockouts/accessories/tools. Also replaced the fans with noctuas, it's a nice set up and makes hardly any noise.

It's a standard ATX box with 4 3.5" bays and a mesh front panel, just with the PSU at the top not the bottom. It would fit any modern component except the biggest of 3rd-party GPUs, which few cases fit properly anyway. But fine, here's the case/setup I had beforehand.

Here's my case, only it doesn't have the gay side window or the gay orange accents, they're black.

It's near perfect. Super quiet, 4 USB ports on the front, no homosexual lights. Airflow probably isn't ideal, but I honestly think that people who get autistic about a few extra degrees are morons, it makes no real difference to anything.

Really anything with a fan will need to be cleaned in approx. 2 years (also disassembled IMO). This one is far more manageable. I've never even heard of dust stain.

        CD drive.

Yeah and the other many bays you can put in there, I agree, but the CD question is solved with a USB CD drive (USB port placement helps). Otherwise, CD's don't see much use these days. Two large fans really do help it breathe when doing anything other than running a CD, though, so it's hard to tell which is really better.

Dust stains are a b***h to clean, the plastic gets all sticky so they get stuck there. You want the least amount of surface made of that material on any given case, and make sure its removeable so you can throw it away when it inevitably gets un-cleanable.

You know I'm surprised no one has bothered to design a room sealed PC like a room sealed boiler. You could effectively have one of these hanging in a storage room and then have HDMI and USB ports located in all the rooms. You would effectively have the option to move location whenever you want, or local multiplayer with everyone in your house. With it being so large and wall mounted, you haven't got to worry about parts being so large, and it's completely out of the way saving living space.

if you wanted to have new wires in any new areas though you're fricked without rewiring stuff in the walls

That doesn't make any sense considering the house would be built with all rooms having a HDMI connector and newly built rooms having to have new wiring.

USB doesn't go very far. At best you're looking at about 16 feet, which will only get you as far as a room or two.

The you put the PC in the middle of the house.

normies don't need computers, it would take a lot of repeaters to make hdmi and usb work over those distances, you either have everyone at once trying to control it resulting in a shitshow or run a moronic version of a terminal server
