RGB a shit too
H510i case for simplicity
Turned off all stock RGB
I'm trying to play a fricking game not trip at a rave, it also reminds me of douches who pimp out their car, it's fricking useless
indeed my case is old and ugly as frick
glass side panels suck as well, i miss clear/tinted perspex
your mother is ugly but her boobies are big so its kinda the same philosophy
Mine just looks like a metal box you’d have drawers inside of and I like it.
I've got the Stormtrooper in black minus the window. It's about 11 years old now and the rubberised coating on the front has gone sticky and weird.
This is what they should all be like rather than hideous rgb shit with windows, who fricking cares what their pc looks like.
>who fricking cares what their pc looks like.
zoomers and homosexuals aka the biggest suckers to milk
I got rid of my stormtrooper earlier this year the rubber was also tacky and disgusting.
I want to build myself a new pc but i don't want to use a huge as frick pc cabinet filled with RGB lights.
Which ones should I get?
Chinese cases for itx or matx
wrong. just stop being poor
Don't know I'd be bragging with a lincoln log PC case.
Ruined by the window
Lol muji does sell everything, like an Asian hipster ikea
ongod bruh that shii CLEAN af frfr sheeeeesh bro got the case on DECK
These panels are not wood, right?
Who the FRICK would put wood or even wood imitation on a fricking PC case jesus fricking christ
This is a fricking highly advanced electronic device, not an oldschool car, where wood actually belongs, you mindless zoomers
boomers
t. unironically saw a monitor and mkb with wooden cases, used by the bank directors (massive fricking homosexuals)
Wood looks cool. Don’t care what you think. It’s cool.
A car. A high-tech piece of technology with metal frame, gears and axles, engine, tons of toxic chemicals, rubber seals and tires, and glass windows. Driving down smog-filled asphalt streets. Where wood would have no purpose other than ornamental. That seems like a more valid use to you than on a box sitting on your desk?
where does the cd tray come out at?
The station wagon of pc cases.
why does your PC look like a nespresso
>side window and rgb puke just like everything else
Pass
>rgb
people with taste leave it with a single color or off
>side window
fixed. next
Damn that looks nice.
i got that case, its good.
solid airflow,.high quality usb panel unlike shit that breaks in a week on fomo and normal cases, solidly built, easily servicable dust filters and isn't full of sharp fricking edges. also one of the best looking cases.
im done paying sub 60 bucks for a case.
Yeah Ganker seems to think rgb = rainbow ONLY when the whole fricking point is to set it to large range of colors.
RGB is fine if you set it to a solid color
if it's in your field of view it's distracting, if it's not, why do you have it?
Looks like shit
They sell a windowless version too apparently.
It's still see through. Why is it so hard to make a normal case? Light and noise will bleed through
ventilation, moron.
>"I'm kind of a grownup here" - the build
stop trying so hard
>lil zoom getting mad
basically a compliment
this. The "single tasteful RGB color" and IKEA tier case is still cringe considering how degenerate gaming as a hobby always has been and always will be.
>he says on Ganker
frick off moralgay larper
it's not about morality, it's about being a manchild
>moralgay is also a simpleton who also strives to look like an "adult"
That's literally what people are making fun of the original case for you fricking dipshit. You don't even know what you're mad about.
>tries to critique others
>posts onionsjack
he's a zoomer, they're obsessed with basedjaks for some reason. growing up with creepy indian ai generated videos on youtube probably fricked with their brains or something
Look like an electric heater
Technically it is.
looks like a heater
the case and the lighting reminds me of the battlestation with the rotisserie pig
nice heater
made me nauseous looking at it
this Black person's playing games on a space heater
would look good without the side window panel
Kino.
Frick rest of Ganker.
So are PC gamers
>cope
>below average pc gamer
>So are PC gamers
like you? Yeah.
are you in a hospital?
>LED shit
grow up
I have that case and it's a good size and price for what it is.
its not ugly, frick you
>5 USBs on the front
>they're all 2.0
Disgusting.
It's likely an older machine. That coolermaster stryker was arguably the best full tower at the time but that was a decade or so ago.
There was a refresh around 2013 to add better support for liquid cooling and new side window options. It's built like a tank, but it is pretty extra by modern standards.
Who told you to buy that ugly ass case
its not mine. i was given it and im thinking of buying a different case
its nice and quiet tough
Speak for yourself homosexual

I'm a lazy mother fricker who doesn't give a frick about cable management. Power cables are a rats nest at the bottom of the case. Never plug in any of the RGB shit. Glass panel always facing the wall.
I wish there was a company that produced an out-of-the-box sleeper PC case. I miss that 90's aesthetic but I can't be arsed to dremel an old case to fit new parts.
Skill issue
the closer to a plain flat box a computer case is, the more I like it
I mean I'd want more airflow than that, but otherwise yeah, it's what at least half the people want.
Everyone buys a stupid glass side panel case now because it's literally the cheapest.
I like a glass side panel so I can see how dirty my shit is and see the fans running.
You see that's the practical sense of having glass side panels. Unfortunately most who want that only do it so they can take a pic and get social media likes.
>I mean I'd want more airflow than that
you do know the front of a case is for intake fans, yeah? it doesn't matter if they're covered up, air is sucked in through those side vents. it's only an issue if you're covering up fans that are blowing hot air out of the case, but no such case exists to my knowledge.
based plain design respector, the least groves and shit sticking out the easier time you have cleaning it, only gays like RBG lights and cases with dildos sticking out to the side
>dildos sticking out to the side
that's just convenience, fren
I wanna spraypaint my box beige, same with my monitor. Any tips?
I'm so sick of rgb and side windows etc, like anyone cares what childish glitzy colours you've gone for.
I went for this case, just keep it simple
Hey I have that case, OP is a gay like usual.
Ricer cases with transparent side panels to show off your RGB shit are for homosexuals and always were.
found the poorgay
You must be American, they're the only people who equate tackiness with wealth.
You must be obsessed. And you didn't even deny being poor. Should have learned to code moron.
>obsessed
Just calling it as I see it, bro.
>And you didn't even deny being poor
Why would I bother to deny something based on a dumbass premise? I'm comfortable knowing that my PC is better than 99% of users on this board, and doesn't look like a rainbow flashing fisher price toy.
>the only people who equate tackiness with wealth.
Literally every oil sheikh ever is laughing at your dipshittery.
>only people who equate tackiness with wealth
just happen to be the only ones wealthy enough to get away with being tacky bud
>all those butthurt replies
lmao, struck a nerve, huh?
RGB everywhere is bad but side glass isgood
I like PC cases that look like furniture pieces
That case is making me consider going ITX.
The case is loud as frick with surprisingly poor thermals from the testing I've seen.
Its actually super silent for me. You need the noctua ghost cpu cooler and make sure the gpu is not too close to the side panel in order to avoid turbulence. Thermals isn't great though. You have to add tiny fans to exhaust heat though
What parts you have, im curious about a decent build
This.
If set up correctly noise is a non-issue and thermals are acceptable.
I prefer fan noise tbh.
Don't get the haters.
Literally so comfy I can fall asleep to it.
>I like PC cases that look like furniture pieces
You like overpriced mechanical keyboards, posting to reddit, and dildos resembling animal wieners.
Yeah, I want one, but the price of ITX case is getting out of control! They are MORE EXPENSIVE THAN the regular case?! WTF?!
It's fine. I'm old enough to remember when your only option was a beige box and if you wanted to customize it you spray painted stencils on it.
It could always be worse.
that's one of the ugliest ones out there
>tfw i'm stuck with a rainbow LED piece of shit case because it was the cheapest one for my needs.
>it's another "I need my computer to look like it came out of a dusty old office filled with 50 year old so imaginary people don't theoretically think me immature" thread
>it's another "zoomer gets assblasted after his real gay bright light-riddled case gets mocked" post
>millenials and younger gen xers build custom cases with shit like UV-reactive paint for decades
>suddenly it's zoom zoom zoomie zooombini zoooooooooooooooomerino zooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooophile to not be a crotchety 50 year old salesman that NEEDS his computer to look like this so imaginary people don't theoretically bully him for not being grown up enough
You are so insecure.
Millenials and younger gen xers eventually outgrew their ricing phase, realizing that riced up cases look embarrassing. Zoomers are just now hitting that phase. So if you're still in it, you're either a zoomer, or a manchild, and both are plenty reason to mock you.
*became whiny insecure boomers who can only b***h about things
Even then, that's only the soillenials on 4chinz who fell for the "be obsessed with contemporary politics" meme. Everyone else is more than happy to not copy baby boomers or care about theoretical people hypothetically saying "ew that case doesn't look professional"
>you're insecure now excuse me while i b***h and moan about anonymous opinions on Ganker
>mcw
No it's a different era. Case manufactures used to make the bulk of their money from cases. Now they make their money from light up cables.
>implying
Lian Li is laughing their asses off. Morons will buy anything today. They delay their cases because it's not worth spending the money hiring extra people to finish them. The cables bring in the fat stacks. The fricking fat stacks they make off infinity fans would make your eyes bleed.
Meds.
>this imaginary guy might call me gay if my case has any color so I'm going to use this workstation case pls no bully ;_;
Right like these dorks are going to have anyone over either
This case is pretty old. But yeah, most people have no taste and will buy either edgy looking shit or homosexual garbage full of LGBT lights.
We called it ricing back in the day
I'm not a fan of LEDs, would rather have a sleek looking case.
I have a Fractal Design black rectangle, not everyone likes alien-ass RGB nightmares
Any neat cube cases?
I like cubes.
i miss my CM Stormtrooper case
big as frick, lots of airflow, quiet and one of the only fricking cases with a carrying handle, which is a pretty big positive for me
meanwhile i was scammed into buying this chink shit, the case itself is nice but its reversible so its complicated as frick, theres 10000000 tiny parts to unscrew and you have about 1mm clearance on the backpanel for cable management, so the back panel just pops out constantly, and the LED light strips inside have shitty adhesive and fell off within a week
>at bro's place
>bro lives with chick
>chick decorated the apartment like pink/steel/white western cowboy art-decoish
>kind of cool actually
>bro gets his gaming pc and the cat's scratching post and that's it
>chick wants him to get rid of the gaming pc since the case is huge
they split up and I haven't seen him much recently
>seatbelt alarm silencer and bottle opener
Holy kek
sad! many such cases.
Mine is just a simple black box with a dust filter on front and a glass panel in the side but I have been thinking I would like to do that thing where you mod it turn on with a physical switch
Lian Li?
>But ugly case
>Wonder why the case is ugly
It's like hammering a nail into your foot then wondering why your foot hurts.
I want to rig my computer up inside one of these but I think I'd need to make some modifications to the case for better ventilation
A mATX board would fit into it but a bigger VGA could be tricky. If you have ample space and want something cool just get a tower case from the 90s. No more ventilation issues!
Pathetic.

Small Raspberry Pi in a big case.
>Fredy got Fingered case
Only prebuilts.
When you build your own it is very pretty. Mine look like a black box until I turn it on and bam the RGB makes it look SICK in a subtle tasteful way.
I have that same exact case
It's monstrously huge
Also most of the USB-ports on the front stopped working years ago.
>Also most of the USB-ports on the front stopped working years ago.
Why the frick is this such a common issue? Pisses me off to no end.
it's your gamer sweat that's dripping in there that broke it

Just buy a Steam Deck
I'm not a troony doe.
yeah you're just a troony
>NOOOOOOOO YOU CANT HAVE RBG WTF UR CASE ISNT BLACK AND FEATURELESS BUT I SPENT SO MUCH ON MY MINIMALISM SETUP??!?!? YES THE COOLING IS WORSE BECAUSE MY CASE HAS NO VENTILATION WHO CARES
why do zoomers love rgb so much?
Conditioned to bright lights and gay colours.
For me, it's lava lamps.
why do 32 year olds who will never work in an office in their life love black featureless cases so much when noone cares?
It's not supposed to look, it's supposed to work.
So buy whatever’s cheapest then.
ok
Ironically black featureless case are the slightly more pricey ones.
Monolith cases are quality though. I've used the same case for up around a decade now, swapped out parts fairly regularly, no broken parts, no hassle, even the dust filters are holding up just fine.
Worth the ~$100 I paid for it back in 2014.
>ermmm nobody cares
>he says, while screaming about how the mean boomers don't like his ebin rgb case that his favorite youtuber told him to buy
I bought my case because it was affordable and cooled my PC components competently. you are the one who thinks your nonexistent GF is going to leave you for lights
See
I deliberately turned off the RGB on my case and broke the panel off to increase airflow
>broke the panel
Don't you have a screwdriver?
yes but the case cracked and all the other screws just flew off from the pressure or something so now it's half a case and exposed
video gaming time
Im thinking of making a wall mounted PC.
redpill me lads. dump info. discuss.
>Lose at game punch wall pc
>fart particle magnet
not a good look
Volume of dust thats gonna traverse there is gonna be big, but I'd expect them to not stick around like in a closed case. Plus it would take couple seconds to blow air and clean it every once in a while, without unscrewing anything, no hard to reach corners etc.
>turn off the heater
>be heated through the sheer power of the cpu and gpu at work
>???
>profit
>start up cyberpunk 2077 with rtx overdrive

It does look pretty sick, but do you really want a bunch of loud-ass fans blasting completely undampened noise at you from right beside your head?
having that whirring and blasting you with hot air seems like it's gonna suck.
imagine the dust
When you sweep your room, you just point the hose at it.
This is so fricking gay and the only people who do these are those "tech" youtubers who have too much time and money on their hands.
Mine looks like a cable box. I like it.
tfw fractal design torrent chad
>new gaming PC please, no RGB on the components
Honestly? RGB is totally worth the 30 dollar upgrade. No 30 dollar gpu upgrade is worth anything it will be at least 200 dollars to upgrade that.
>upgrade
What upgrade?
Fans mostly. You could get strips too. Maybe even liquid cooling has rgb but I like fans.
I realized zoomies have taken over when I needed to buy a new case and had to scroll like 5 pages until I found a one that didn't look like a spaceship or have a window.
Why do you care? No one will look, troony
Because I'm the one buying and looking at it? Did HRT melt your brain?
I don't need more and yes it looks cute.
>regular sized GPU + Nvme + sata SSD + full sized hdd
>Still tiny
>Looks great
I love this case
I have this, BUT
I turned off all the RGBs, flipped the glass panel to the other side so I don't need to see it.
It can fit a 41cm GPU, 4 HDDs, 5 fans, 2 5.25" drive bays.
And it was 40 eurobucks on clearance.
Ayy, spec op 1 brother! It's a 15 year old case, but still better than 90 percent of what's on the market. You'll never need to buy another case again. I love my hdd trays, added a filter to the front panel and turned off rgb too. I put a dvd and a drive drawer for storing knockouts/accessories/tools. Also replaced the fans with noctuas, it's a nice set up and makes hardly any noise.
I like how the mesh on top makes no sense
it's for exhausting air. having some on the top AND back helps because air circulates in your computer.
Anon, it's uneven spiderweb because it's an AI slop image
>moron stupid enough to buy Razer buys a fugly case
>WHOAAAA WTF WHY ARE PC CASES UGLY
kys zoomer you are literally not human
They will be ugly if you don't care about the design, but one with an old rtx2060 and R5 3600, they still beat the crap out of a current PS5 and XSX
Plus the PS5 has an ugly design
My case is a 20 year old aluminium Lian Li that I run with the side panel off, I never see it, nor want to see it and the only time I do see it is when I reach under my desk once in the morning to press its power button

Do consolegays not realize that you buy the case you want and aren't stuck with something you don't like?
I saw a 'jak from the thumbnail kek I can't be the only one bros. That's enough Internet for today
Get off the internet and stay off for a long time.
I don't see it.
Agreed. I'm going to build myself a brand new am5 socket PC too. Didn't even start choosing a new case, cause I know I won't be able to find a good one. Ah, shit. My top priority is the amount of slots/usb ports, so it'll be a max tower anyway...
p.s. i'll turn of the gay shit fricking off as soon as i get into fricking bios.
So buy a different case.
oh frick yeah my current case is a restomod p180 antec, floppy drive wont come out so im gonna leave it in lol
das old and gay, man. they have a different structure now.
It's a standard ATX box with 4 3.5" bays and a mesh front panel, just with the PSU at the top not the bottom. It would fit any modern component except the biggest of 3rd-party GPUs, which few cases fit properly anyway. But fine, here's the case/setup I had beforehand.
much better. I like the modern wiring and component placement to be much better. and much more comfy to tinker around the hardware. There is no denying, that this wiring in just superior to the bullshit we've had before.
that's, in fact, almost perfect.
The cables, tell me about them, which ones did you pick, post review --Despite the fact that cablemod is the most expensive and used shit ever, almost NOBODY ever discusses it, yet we have 123812dsa videos doing this shit for random pcb mobo parts
I can't remember anything about them other than that they were overpriced for what amounts to sleeved and cut copper. I sold them when I got my SeaSonic unit to use the stock cables instead.
absolutely haram
Then I shan't tell you about OC'd, deshrouded and Noctua-ziptied RX 5700XT.

>I have to go.
honestly this is a peak rig. nothing you don't need in there.
the frick server needs firewire for?
It's not hooked up. I wanted the case, not the front I/O specifically.
I just want a simple grey box like the PCs of the 90s
No RGB bullshit, no glass, no obvious obnoxious fans
Is that too much to ask fkr?
>buy and ugly case
>wonder why the pc is ugly
Weird, I wonder how that happened.
Hope it lasts me a while, other than lame front panel it's more or less perfect
I unironically like the design of the pre-built Dell cases. I just disabled the light on the front from the motherboard and I'm good to go.
good looking case. Shame that the non-glass version is usually more expensive.
it's not that more expensive when case is already on the more expensive side
what actually won't be for everyone is how big and heavy it is (i like it)
>soulless meshify C
>literal biggest GPU that can physically fit
>most basic parts otherwise
You may not line it, but this is what peak performance looks like.
hey I have been to that bridge, its in Oregon
As opposed to what? Every console looks identical to each other. No individuality. No soul. At least with PC cases you can find different looks, colors, lighting setups, etc. It's peak soul.
Who still uses blue ray drive in this day and age. That case looks way too outdated. Go get dual chamber case!
I brought this case 1 year ago because I wanted to see what all the glass panel and lighting rage was all about. Found the LEDs to be annoying, but actually seeing the hardware while the thing is running is actually kind of nice.
Whats the case like? Think of buying it for my new build next year
R2D2 looking ass
For me it's the P300A
Farming wageslave bloodmoney for 5000T myself
fricking this, we need a beige pentium era styled case already
Frick, I really like the Fractal North case that's posted ITT.
Nice cherrypicking, that's like looking at the mirror and thinking all humans are ugly.
Daily reminder that PCs are not furniture. Their place is below the desk, where nobody can see them. Their purpose is to run shit and not to be stared at like a monkey fascinated with blinking lights.
Also if you install RGB lightshow into your PC then you don't actually play video games, you're just a poser who prefers to only talk about them. Nobody sane plays video games with a fricking discoteque blasting in your peripheral vision.
>Their place is below the desk, where nobody can see them.
frick off with your moronic normie opinion
enjoy your tons of dust
Right, I'm a normie, I clean my floor regularly, you disgusting ape.
>i clean my floor every fricking day and move the case every time
lie harder homosexual
Actually I do, get a roomba you poorgay.
>get a israelite spying device that does nothing!
holy consoomer
I accept your concession, dirty schizoid.
>Their place is below the desk
I put mine on my desk to avoid dust. That's why I bought that wooden front one posted above. I work from home so it fits in my office well. Gamer themed stuff is inherently infantile usually
I have that case kek. Circa 2010 cases were goofy but I think I prefer them to the soulless minimalist rectangles popular today.
I only care about ample space and good air flow, so I went with a lian li lancool 3 case. So far Im very happy with it.
By the way, have you forgotten Ps5's existence? If you are talking about a fugly device, the first thing that comes in my mind is a Ps5. Its the fugliest gaming machine I have ever seen. This case you have posted looks like Brad Pit gorgeous compared to a ps5
>as big as an SFF case
>ugly as shit and garbage cooling
what is wrong with snoy?
still can't get over how it looks like some fat bastard sat on it
This is a personal attack.
By the way, how do I open the computer case so I can dust off the inside?
Screws on the back. But you sound dumb enough to break something inside should you open it, so I'd advise against doing so.
You have to crack it open like a nut.
It'll never be the same afterwards but it's a necessary procedure.
boomer manchildren seething at zoomers here only because they dont want a pc that looks like a homosexual shit and just a box that runs games

sorry posted wrong pic
what is wrong with it? looks like a 2U case
I love the Terra but it needs to be just slightly taller to place an 120mmx15 exhaust fan above the motherboard. That would fix its heating issue completely.
that wall mounted vertical monitor is tacky as frick
>ridge $120
>pay more for less
why do they do this?
I never understood the case/kbm having to look good, you literally never look at them
based take, you shouldn't even have the case on your room if you can afford the space so you can have no noise and the temperature raise is meaningful depending the season you are

You are that type of people that have their PC randomly dying 2 years after purchasing brand new and you have no idea why.
did you steal that furniture from base?
Why does your floor look like it's from a High School?
because cheap floors are all the fricking same
If I was a teacher with my own office I would probably bring a gaming pc to work too.
>This is fine meme dog on the cpu pump
Your rig is reddit, anon.
i like those USBs.
I still have my old CM storm trooper case from my first build, should do something with it.
pretty nice, what did it cost you? when I was case shopping a couple years ago for my current build I literally could not find a nice low profile case that wasn't luxury tier or 5 years old and grossly overpriced.
2200, including getting a buddy to help build it. Ive had zero problems with it.
Here's my case, only it doesn't have the gay side window or the gay orange accents, they're black.
It's near perfect. Super quiet, 4 USB ports on the front, no homosexual lights. Airflow probably isn't ideal, but I honestly think that people who get autistic about a few extra degrees are morons, it makes no real difference to anything.
Why do gaymers keep insisting on using RGBs?
the demographic that likes rgb has the most upside so manufacturers just default to putting it on everything.
The worst is when you realise your new mobo has fricking RGB gay headers instead of controllable fan headers. Yeah who cares about noise, what's important is rainbows!
I want to cum on that case its so perfect.
I've been using that since whenever the i5-4690/r9 290x were relevant.
There's no woman in my apartment so it doesn't matter.
I do hate that every single computer case is either an edgy middle schooler design or some kind of bespoke minimalism
>this is a practical but nifty piece of tech
basically doesn't exist as an aesthetic.
I only buy cases in this configuration. All these narrow cases could tip over at any second!
>buying a case twice the size you need for no reason
enjoy your dust box
I actually bought the o11 air mini. It's perfectly sized.
new 'jak just dropped
What's a good basic case?
just get the cheapest case you can find at your local electronics store or Micocenter and make sure to dust it out every few months
all this airflow lights and thermal talk is just memes as long as you don't suffocate the case with crap
If your PC runs slow when playing a game, try lowering the game's resolution ez
is there an easy way to turn off the light from those coolers at the side of the mobo? the one that came with my case is bright as frick, currently im using a cardboard with adhesive tape on the case window to block the light.
>turn off all my RGB lights in every form of setting I can find
>my cpu fan still has rainbows shooting out of it
kill me now
>>my cpu fan still has rainbows shooting out of it
i hate this shit so much bros, my mobo by default came with a homosexual ass light cycling through a bunch of colors.
Do you not have RGB control software for your shit like RGBFusion or iCUE? That stuff should let you turn shit off.
fricking zoomer with there micro and mini cases
There's just no reason a consoomer would ever need a full sized atx mobo these days. Might as well at least get a slightly shorter case.
What if I use more expansion cards than just my GPU?
>he doesn't have a server the size of a room and a pc the size of cinder block
pathetic
>great airflow
>full-mid size ATX
>carry handle
What more could you want?
>cheap plastic front piece that gets dust stained in 2 years
>weird detail on the sides that only serve to capture more dust
pass
>solved by wiping off the exterior
Really anything with a fan will need to be cleaned in approx. 2 years (also disassembled IMO). This one is far more manageable. I've never even heard of dust stain.
Yeah and the other many bays you can put in there, I agree, but the CD question is solved with a USB CD drive (USB port placement helps). Otherwise, CD's don't see much use these days. Two large fans really do help it breathe when doing anything other than running a CD, though, so it's hard to tell which is really better.
I buy and rip music CDs somewhat regularly, so I prefer having one built-in.
Dust stains are a b***h to clean, the plastic gets all sticky so they get stuck there. You want the least amount of surface made of that material on any given case, and make sure its removeable so you can throw it away when it inevitably gets un-cleanable.
A rub down with alcohol typically fixes that.
CD drive.
>>full-mid size
Literally all a case needs is to not glow and to have sides to look good.
>no o'neil cylinder inspired PC case where the main body is suspended so it gets ample airflow from the bottom as well
no fricking point in getting a fancy $100+ case if they don't have cool concepts
that's fine for like 2016, and its corsair so its good quality, but you are expected to have newer slicker designs on these threads anon I am sorry
My man corsair 300 case bro.
I remember this case. It has like 15 hardrive slot more if you removed the diskdrive. Pretty cool.
What started the whole homosexual pride lighting trend, anyway?
I have the black one from when i built my own a decade ago. It's ugly as shit, but it is spacious as hell too and the handle is unironically a great help for gently transporting that heavy ass rig around when i was moving houses.
well they are a tool you wouldn't call a wrench ugly you would just use it
i want an rgb wrench
>anything but a solid black brick
I have autism so lights bother me. I turned it off on my mouse and controller.
I dont like Lian Li cases because of the dumb design decision of putting "LIAN LI" in plain letters in front of the case. Its not elegant, and chinese looks ugly when romanized, might as well put "CHING CHONG" on the case.
I want it so bad unless they end up announcing Ayanami parts.
I would punch you if I could.
I'm 6'2, you couldn't reach me little guy.
what the frick that looks so cool
post wacky cases
like a cactus or something idk
>lights off when computer off
>side panel dark to see through
>lights on when computer on
>can now see inside computer
What doesn't Ganker get about this?
Which is why you should go for Racing PCs instead
I am sorry but I would feel like a 10 year old playing this. But not even myself as 10 year old more like neighbor kids.
That's called insecurity.
literally no one cares and the only time someone will see it and pay attention to it is if you post it online to other autists
The worst part of modern cases is the fricking dismal state of front IO panels. It's always just like one fricking USB3 port and an SD slot at the top edges of the case, there's no reason why you couldn't have like 5 USB ports an an entire card reader on the front of the case where it's actually convenient.
In the future it will be 2 usb-c and power button.
I would like a case that looked like a miniature grandfather clock or a wooden transistor radio but still had good airflow.
>I would like a case that looked like a miniature grandfather clock or a wooden transistor radio but still had good airflow.
You joke but how reliable are wooden cases anyway? You can make them whatever you want and just put a sheet of metal inside to insulate the hardware. That sounds like good business.
You mock me, sir, but I’ll have you know that I’m having the last laugh. My hair isn’t nearly as good as the hipster you portray me to be.
The cooler master storm trooper case fricks hard. I got the dark version. So much room for components. Great design. Too bad it's not produced anymore.
Forgot to mention the best part. x dock on the front, slide SSDs right in.
It's cheap white plastic that looks bad.
You can always tell poor quality when it develops an off-white, almost yellowish tint.
I'm about to start building my first computer and I'm at a loss. Where should I go to start learning about how to manage heat properly, and what brands/components to prioritize?
As far as I know, logicalincrements is still a solid resource.
From my experience, that's only if you're American.
Whoever curates the Canadian version makes some pants on head moronic choices for value based on the local market, so I'm assuming the other countries' variants are the same in that regard.
You're better off using PC part picker and doing light research yourself.
All you need is cpu cooler fan and some case fans
Wrong board
heat dissipation hasn't been a problem for atleast a decade, liquid coolers were nothing but a fad and a stock cooler is more than enough for anything that isn't a meme build
that case is atleast 10 years old when fugly transformer cases were popular
You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like
You know I'm surprised no one has bothered to design a room sealed PC like a room sealed boiler. You could effectively have one of these hanging in a storage room and then have HDMI and USB ports located in all the rooms. You would effectively have the option to move location whenever you want, or local multiplayer with everyone in your house. With it being so large and wall mounted, you haven't got to worry about parts being so large, and it's completely out of the way saving living space.
if you wanted to have new wires in any new areas though you're fricked without rewiring stuff in the walls
That doesn't make any sense considering the house would be built with all rooms having a HDMI connector and newly built rooms having to have new wiring.
USB doesn't go very far. At best you're looking at about 16 feet, which will only get you as far as a room or two.
The you put the PC in the middle of the house.
normies don't need computers, it would take a lot of repeaters to make hdmi and usb work over those distances, you either have everyone at once trying to control it resulting in a shitshow or run a moronic version of a terminal server
>normies don't need computers
I know, but we're talking about a hypothetical wall mounted room sealed super computer in the middle of the house as the ultimate gaming rig.
>sealed
>gaming rig."parts have planned obsolescence in 3 years"
lol
You don't know what room sealed means in the context I'm talking about.
Got this on clearance 5 years ago, before this I was using the same case from the DELL prebuilt I had in 2009.
kek, I got a prebuilt Skytech with this case too. Black folk HOTGLUED some of the connectors to the motherboard.
Literally all you need
The GOAT
That’s so fricking cool
For me, it's Dell 3930.
I can’t close my case and this you is noisy
gpu*
>sideways image
that'll be the last time I phone post
the frick happened here?
Some bad shit at the pci-e connector caused the power to cook something, from the looks of it.
I love the simplicity of it.
most of my components don't even have lights. just my GPU has a fruity led strip.
people fricking love those windows though. i had a boomer coworker asking if i'd be able to move his PCs internals into a case with a window.
Really nice case if you're going all in on air cooling.
>posting the inferior rbg glass panel version
tower 900 bros wwa?
imagine giving a shit what a tool looks like
when you go buy a drill to drill in screws to hang up picture frames in your walls, do you also make sure it's a tastefully designed drill with wooden finishes and tasteful LED lights? Do yo uwear matching gloves and kneesocks for a coherent style with the drill? No you just get the fricking drill that works best. Same with when you buy knives for the kitchen or pans to cook with.
Fricking moronic homosexual shit
>tradie short/reel/whatever
>look at the comments
>a bunch of grown ass men complaining that the tool is <brand>
you'd be surprised at how often that happens in almost every field
I got the dark tinted version and I like it.
Are puget systems legit?
You can make them look however you want.
>fans that take air from nowhere
>useless back fan
>2 graphic cards in a hotbox
why
why are new GPUs so big?
so they can hold more grafix
The 4090 is as big as a PS5!
at least 4090 can actually do some games
And the 7060 will inevitably be a 2 fan/175 watt/1.5 slot card that can roughly match it in performance. Pretty cool I always think. First you get the performance, and over time that same performance gets smaller in size and less expensive (with a quarter of the vram).
>computers used to be as big as a room
>managed to shrink them down to take up less space
>now computer parts are growing in size again
Wonder if we'll come up with some new tech that'll shrink things back down.
GPUs just got bigger because the coolers got bigger. People don't want shit tier coolers anymore.
Yes but that doesn't change that until we come up with something to provide the same cooling for a smaller size, GPUs getting bigger will require cases getting bigger.
>every single case these days has a glass side panel
>need to pay extra for a solid panel
Why?
>ugly transformers tier case from 2009
>on carpet
>zero cable management
I miss those days.
Cable management? What's that?
i have the same PC case
you might not like it but that fricking thing is like a fridge inside
huge fan on the bottom and the top of the case, and two fans on each side, two fans at the back and two fans at the front
nothing overheats except your electricity meter but i'm lucky enough to get kickbacks on my energy bills due to my solar panels
>FireWire
How old is that shit?
why are new GPUs so cute?
>I spend all my money on HRT, so I can't afford a 4090.
