Gimmick was released as a Super NES instead of a NES game and got a proper world wide release (same goes for the original Hebereke); What changes?

It has a lot of slowdowns and shitty trumpet MIDI music.
By 1992 most of that was taken care of, plus the NES was slower.
the slowdowns yes
not the shitty muffled sound
>By 1992 most of that was taken care of
LOL, by putting chips in maybe. The SNES inherently has a lot of slowdowns due to hardware design, it's not something that can be "taken care of".
>plus the NES was slower
In practical terms they're pretty close to the same speed, except the SNES has to shuffle way more data around to provide the illusion that it's a proper 16-bit console, which is way more work for the sluggish CPU to handle.
Like with the Switch it has always been "program you damn games better" and "keep poorly optimise software off of our platform".
>"program you damn games better"
>"keep poorly optimise software off of our platform"
That's not at all what happened though, SNES games struggled with slowdowns and other similar issues throughout the entire lifespan of the console.
Pretty much. If the big boys like Capcom and Konami struggled with slowdown, how do you think Sunsoft would have fared early on? It would have been a disaster. Tecmo faced the same dilemma. Famicom masters, SFC shitters.
Yes, early on, as the years passed they got a better handle on the hardware.
It would've helped to have the CPU have a 16-Bit data bus and run at 14.32MHz as well.
Was this due to inability to understand the platform, or just that their more skilled programmers moved on from the company?
It was just because the SNES hardware was severely bottlenecked in many ways, and the CPU was too slow to be able to make up for it.
Music not as good
Game built on physics no longer works the same
But more people would’ve played it
>muh slowdowns
I bet you’re one of those people that thinks the MD didn’t have slowdown
the Super NES has a similar CPU as the NES, the physics will still be the same.
>But more people would’ve played it.
This.
It btfo of Kirby
Kirby will still exist and be in the same heathy spot, most that will happen is that Kirby's Adventure will be a Super NES game instead of a NES game.
They're nothing alike, Kirby is a relaxing easy game this is a very hard one
>inb4 umm actually it's easy for me
Yeah what's Kirby for you then
They probably play like shit because Sunsoft had little to no SFC expertise. Hebereke may have been a lot bigger, they still want that to be their signature mascot. Poor Sunsoft.
SFC and FC are both from the 6502 family, plus they did this.
Revolutionizes the gimmickvania genre.
Auster's ISP range ban was lifted?
