>have good pc
>don't play new games because they're all over 50gb
Who internetlet here?
>have money. >have good pc. >don't play new games because they're all over 50gb

So download one and wait a couple days. What's the problem?
I don't want to wait a couple of days to find out a game is shit.
It's either that or never play any new video games ever again. It's not like you'd be missing out on much if you did nothing but play tetris for the rest of your life.
netlet would have been funnier
let it download overnight you dildort
Let it download overnight. What's wrong with you?
New games suck ass
>tacked on progression system
I miss the days of booting up something like left 4 dead and getting the full experience right away as opposed to Darktide where I have to grind out character levels and unlock/craft the weapons. It's so tiresome
im not against progression systems, but its absolutely tacked on to games now to hide the fact that 99.999% of the budget went to graphics.
The best games released lately have none of those you dumb cunt.
>God of War
>Monster Hunter (depending on how pedantic you are)
>Hi Fi Rush
Clean the sand out of your vagina and stop being such a negative nancy.
>inb4 “those are all shit”
those are all shit
You can always pirate those re-packs for third worlders.
used to have that issue but on xbox.
>go to play game
>"this game needs a 15gb update"
i would have to coordinate and wait to let it download overnight, and even than my brother would fuck things up and either make me wait till super late to start downloading or he would block the console of from the network.
Come back when you hit 18. My brother. Fuck off
go fuck yourself.
>new 2D game
>requirement 32 ram, 10Go, Intel 9+, RTX5000
>still manage to run like dogshit
What happened to programmers? They used to squeeze performance from anything back then.
Good programmers get poached for shit like google
These days programming is primarily taught in a way that makes programmers as easily replaceable as possible. Efficiency is seen as completely irrelevant.
Games aren't that much more complicated than 10 years ago, but computers are exponentially better, so everyone decided that optimization was a waste of man-hours.
>What happened to programmers? They used to squeeze performance from anything back then.
they all lost their eyesight, got fat, parents died...so they lost housing, etc.
take your pick.
>don't have money
>don't have good PC
>have good enough internet to download a 50GB game in 20 minutes
I don't know that feel.
Do there exist American states where they don't garden gnome you with a limited internet plan? We even have it here in my slavic shithole, so it just seems barbaric to me, but surely all that garden gnomeslave shit about internet plans I hear must be in some godforgotten backwater like California.
I'm thinking if immigrating into a different countries so I'm gathering information on suitable candidates.
No, you basically just have 1gb yearly limit in every state in America. They can barely use the internet. If you use more than 1gb you get arrested and executed usually. Sad state of affairs.
>Fuck off we're full
I get what you're saying, but what you're full of is welfare siphoning morons, garden gnomes, and trannies. I'm white, capable of manual labor, and have a strong appreciation for personal liberties. Don't answer if you don't want to, that's your choise of course, but it is not me who should want to be in your country, it's your country that needs people like me.
It used to be the norm, but companies realized they can make a lot of money off this by making people worried about their caps and upselling them to more expensive plans than they need/paying exhorbitant fee for unlimited data alone. It's no coincidence that that companies with the most draconic and gnomish data practices have the best stock growth.
Fiber's starting to roll into even rural areas now, but the companies love wanking off shareholders too much to stop garden gnomeing.
So this is like a country-wide thing, no way to escape it if I were to start living in the US?
It's not 100% everywhere, but yeah, most of the big players are all in on this together.
You'd really have to look around at regional ISPs carefully and find a place that A) is good and B) is also a good place to live for all the other reasons you need. That's a pretty tall ask that none of us can answer for you easily.
I would have asked if you can ask it dificult...ly, but I haven't actually prepared all the questions I'd need to ask about living in Amoorica, so that'll have to come at a later date. I appreciate what you have already told me, however.
here data caps never really existed, and all providers are forced to lend their infrastructure to other providers at a regulated price so that no one can have the monopoly over a certain area and to avoid tearing up the roads everytime someone wants to move in
prices have been steadily decreasing in time, 1000gb fiber goes for 30€/m, the major players also sell packages that include mobile and streaming services
Where is "here"? Sell your patch of land to me, lad, I might add your country to my candidate list.
Meanwhile here, cable companies are dropping cable proper and moving their tv services to IPTV streaming. And have the fucking nerve to keep jacking the rates on top of it.
I like my country, but I can't even pretend we aren't all riding with one fat uncut dick up our asses when it comes to anything even vaguely related to telecom.
what's funny is that the provider doesn't even have a cost increase if you download 1gb or 6 gorillionbytes, they pay for bandwidth
im not internetlet, my drive is just already filled to the brim with games
>buy external hard drive
>give drive to friend with good internet
>friend copies piratable games for you
>take drive back and put games on your PC
Though I guess if you're both netlet and friendlet as well, this might get trickier or start costing more money.
>not just having your friend download the game and email you the files so you can just drag and drop them to your drive pre-downloaded
If he's a netlet, email isn't going to work any better for him than downloading from steam or wherever.
I stopped pirating games when Sekiro started crashing for me at the guardian ape
>my household is perpetually changing internet provider because people will have an off day and declare that provider worthless
>currently on some shitty 1tb per month cap garbage that we clear in a couple of weeks
Australia sure is suffering if you're not willing to take a chance on lesser known providers but even then they're often just giving you main company access anyway. Should probably just get my own 5g box and be done with it.
No game that big is worth playing anyways.
The fact that DRG is only 3GB is fucking wizardry to me.
Especially with all the shit they added to it. It didn't take long after the first hat update for TF2 to go from a few GB to 20-30.
