To this day I feel so weirded out that "the shock moment" became a hard rule for every single COD game. Like yeah, Aftermath was fantastic, but I don't feel it stood out as the one thing that "made" the game. Or maybe I just completely missed the brouhaha at the time.
There's nothing wrong with this, the problem is that they're letting women leave the country.
The prostitutes are supposed to warm the beds of the men who survive.
Ideally you would war so 30-40% of your men die then simply let the surviving men have extra wives.
The boys should be put to work as soon as they are able and the girls should be married off in return for gifts and payments by her prospective husband.
Damn bro, you butchered this entire post. Only thing that could have fricked it up more is if you quoted the wrong Anon. Betcha fricked up the captcha a couple times too, didn' ya?
>had some pretty fun campaigns if you want action movie shlock
This is the key. Go in for Michael Bay set pieces and America Frick Yeah and you won't be disappointed.
Playing the most recent CoD campaign every year was a guilty pleasure of mine.
Ehh, infinite warfare had a pretty good campaign. You had the spaceship battles, zero gavity sections and the choice to do optional missions to get more weapons to play with in the story missions. The only bad thing about it was towards the end where they started killing characters back to back. That felt really forced because apparently a cod campaign can't last more than 5 hours.
Yes. I find myself replaying 1, United Offensive and 2 annually. Sometimes 4 aswell.
1 was such a blast for me since having so many friendly soldiers fight alongside you is something I really enjoyed since even WW2 games at the time had you being a one-man army. Even at the time the handling is super smooth and every gun feels good to use, music is good and there is a lot of personality in both the friendly and enemy npcs. Then not to mention there are so many memorable moments I still find myself enjoying: Joining Cpt. Foley in Staine-Mere-Eglise, riding shotgun with Sgt. Moody and Pvt. Elder, some real bullshit going in solo as SAS to sabotage a dam and the Tirpitz, landing in Stalingrad and only getting five bullets with no rifle and sent into battle, getting shot down over Netherlands and joing the dutch resistance, fighting in the Battle of Kursk, then in 2 there's the battle of El Alamein and retaking Hill 400.
In that sense it was almost like Half-Life 1, it kept a really good facade and presentation while feeling really good to play.
CoD4 has that weird Halo Custom Edition thing where the animations are frame locked even though the actual game isn't. CoD2 had perfect support for it outside of MP though so I have no idea how they fricked that up
>2007 game runs perfectly at 120 fps
No, it doesn't. It's based on Quake 3 and it's engine, so the jump height is bugged at higher framerates and causes more fall damage
just uninstalled the game. I cant believe I was playing when I could jump 1 inch higher. jesus christ........

modern games might be demanding, but usually they work perfectly if you can reach 120 fps in a game with uncapped framerates

What exactly did you mean in
>2007 game runs perfectly at 120 fps
They dont make devs like they used to
by saying >>2007 game runs perfectly at 120 fps >They dont make devs like they used to
when this 2007 clearly doesn't run perfectly at 120 fps. Are there any game breaking bugs when running nu-COD at 120 fps and higher?
Anonymous
Yes I reinstalled it just to experience the sheer horror of it all, then lost everything. All because I jumped a little bit extra. cant play the game at all anymore. its unplayable

You didn't respond to the other question.
What are some of the gamebreaking bugs that appear in nu-COD at 120 fps or higher?
After all, you're saying COD4 is an example of game running perfectly at 120 fps, when it literally is not.

why would I answer that question when I conceded
I jumped 1 frame extra and everything melted, I mean the shooting, running, and walking being fine? That didnt count. I jumped 1 frame extra and its not perfect. shit release, shit port.
Also the fact you take everything so literally leads me to believe you are a genuine autist

>Also the fact you take everything so literally leads me to believe you are a genuine autist
So what if I am? I embraced it.
Taking a game that literally has 85 fps cap imposed by devs not to break jump physics and claiming it's an example of game running perfectly at 120 fps as opposed to more recent ones is silly, especially since more recent games actually run without flaws at higher framerates if they support them.

I believe that people making shit up deserve to be corrected and cleared from misconceptions, especially since Ganker keeps parroting dumb shit that has been said once or twice and take it as truth.
People still refuse to listen to MGS4's assistant producer, a person that actually worked on the game, that they internally ported MGS4 to 360. People keep saying about the imaginary Cell spaghetti code.

I literally explained you how and why I did embrace it.
World at War is immensely underrated imo. It's the only CoD I think that had 4 player COOP campaign online, and split screen as well. Loved playing it with my friends, and it was the only one my Dad and I could play together at the same time since he was always interested in war games.
I wouldn't mind a game based solely on this kind of mission, I guess something like a sniper assassin game where you trek to your spot while avoiding enemies/obstacles and take out the target then need to escape
Kinda I've never played the whole series but new one seems to lean more action-heavy getting into firefights with group of enemies the stealth isn't really focus of the game
>but new one seems to lean more action-heavy getting into firefights with group of enemies the stealth isn't really focus of the game
You literally can complete the missions without killing anyone except for target, you're even awarded for pacifying enemies without killing them.
To further elaborate on that, I don't think there's a single scripted time where you have to kill a group of enemies in 5 to proceed, unlike in previous games.
best cod mission
nah man
>and remember no russian
im thinking this one's better
The mission where you just hold shoot for half of it then run outside in a parkling lot is better mission.
Fricking moron
>He actually shot the civillians
What the frick is wrong with you?
If you dont shoot the civs at least once, makarov turns on you
... Doesn't he always kill you at the end anyways?
I wanted to do a realistic roleplay of a glowBlack person.
>He didn't roleplay a israeli golem accurately.
>LE SHOCK VALUE BRO
boring
To this day I feel so weirded out that "the shock moment" became a hard rule for every single COD game. Like yeah, Aftermath was fantastic, but I don't feel it stood out as the one thing that "made" the game. Or maybe I just completely missed the brouhaha at the time.
Shock value is a meme and doesn't exist outside Reddit
20 minutes of walk and talk is nowhere near the best CoD missions and isn't even close to top 5 in its own game
I remember when I was a kid that nuke mission blew my fricking mind, I just didn't think video games were capable of displaying anything like that
What really fricked me up about that mission as a kid is that they got rid of half the cast in one second. No wonder Shepherd was so pissed.
that's not stalingrad
>not
TANK? DID YOU SAY TANK?
that would be pavlov's house
The best CoD mission of all time is objectively Cliffhanger
>Roach, go to plan B.
>This is Major Petrov! Name one good gacha game! You have five seconds to comply!
it's iconic.
>DUDE RUSSIANS BAD AM I RIGHT?
>LE SHOCKING TERRORIST ACT
>DUDE RUSSIANS BAD AM I RIGHT?
100% correct.
I remember that Russian act of bombing a van full of children because a brown person was driving. Horrifying.
“Butwhataboutamerica” is the new “dindu nuffin”
>I AM SILLY
For chomsky you're being kind to only call him silly.
>I am a linguistics professor
Holy shit
Zoomers wont remember but the best COD mission is Crossing the Rhine in COD2.
>beating up LE NATZEES
fricking israelite
Zoomers are old enough to have played CoD2 at launch
My maths was wrong, frick me right!?
too right guvna your maffs was propa wrong
Now it's going on a scale of the entire country.
I will have sex with the 60 year old ukranians
someone needs to give the grannies some love
Anon is the gilf hunter we've all been asking for
>high supply of milfs
Hell yeah
if you're a russian/ukranian who doesn't want to go die in this gay pointless war, what do you do?
>somehow all the young women are dead too, despite not being drafted
really jogs the nog
lack of bbc, this hwy we need to open our borders more
looks like a butt plug.
There's nothing wrong with this, the problem is that they're letting women leave the country.

Can we nuke the Russians yet?
For what?
I could've sworn he says
>and the whole world just FRICKING watched
Huh, Streissand effect I guess.
That was a different character in the sequel
wrong game AND character homie
that's also not the Streissand effect
you fricked up every single thing about your post
Damn bro, you butchered this entire post. Only thing that could have fricked it up more is if you quoted the wrong Anon. Betcha fricked up the captcha a couple times too, didn' ya?
Are the older cods worth playing? Not a zoomer was just a huge weeb back then
Depends what you mean by older. The WWII ones are fun enough, especially if you like the period and have watched enough WWII movies.
The 3 Modern Warfare games are Michael Bay kino. Good set pieces and fun to playthrough.
World at War/Black Ops/Black Ops 2 are great as well, not the kind of campaigns you'd expect from CoD at its popular peak and yearly releases.
Or go for the DEEPEST LORE and play zombies.
Sounds pretty kino. I've been getting into old cheesy action movies so this sounds good to me. Thanks anons I'll pick some up during the steam sale
shit on the gameplay all you like the older CoDs up to black ops 3 had some pretty fun campaigns if you want action movie shlock

Anyone who starts a written responds with a typed out vocal snare, or "Na" are morons not worth listening to.

No, it doesn't. It's based on Quake 3 and it's engine, so the jump height is bugged at higher framerates and causes more fall damage

wow. literally unplayable

Allah.
Meds. Now.

God I miss brown n bloom and thinly veiled Iraq War settings

Yup... I'm thinking it's LVDOKINO...
Brave soldier, brave soldier, die with me, die with me, die with me.
I legitimately cannot tell if this is the remake of original
I can, quite easily.
Wall textures are the same in the remake
Which ones?
NO!!!
>Martyr me for Cordis Die
BO2's campaign was an unexpectedly wild ride.

I only liked the campaign
Man I forgot how awful 7th gen game textures were. There are seriously pc games from the late 90s with better textures
COD 2 is the only good one in the whole series
if you unironically still play call of duty, you are part of whats wrong with the gaming industry.
Medal of Honor was always the superior WW2 FPS, no I will not respond to people posting MoH 2010 or Warfighter.
I remember when Medal of Honor was the top war game and no-one had heard of COD.
CoD1 was already pushing MoH off the ledge and by CoD2 it was already 6 feet under
>MW
>World at War
>MW2
>Black Ops I
is this THE most kino release order in any fps?
