I think the mod had an option to control what path that faction chooses to go down so they dont do that (aka like all other factions with giant focus trees lol) but it appears they have since removed it

I think it's fun. They have to fill out the map somehow. Lot's of new lore is quite good, troll warren, TV Town, Eagle's Rock, Texas Brotherhood, Attis Remanents. Seems respecful of the canon and rarely outright contradicts it if ever.
I don't mind them filling the map. I don't even mind them adding the Desert Rangers from Wasteland to flesh out Arizona. But adding Mexico isn't filling the map, since Mexico isn't even supposed to be on the fricking map. Don't equate Texas lore with Mexican lore, since Texas at least actually appears in a game no matter how shit it is.
As in an option to force the AI to go down that path in the new game options
The entire mod is trash. It stops being Fallout the moment these Black folk focus on Canada and Mexico to add their OG Donut Steel factions over regions that actually have lore in canon. Not to mention the gay ass EU4 wannabe economic system.

Is House even a proper robotics engineer? Like, did he do any of the work or was it all the people under his employ. If he could do anything himself he probably wouldn't've needed the Platinum Chip.
That said, he could probably pay and organize the scientists and engineers better than anyone else alive. Might be knowledgeable enough to do proper design work, I don't know.

100% agreed. Without original content you're left with a bunch of Bethesda slop on a mostly empty map. If the choice is to have an enjoyable game versus autistically adhering to a canon that's highly questionable to begin with, that's not a choice at all because nobody worth listening to will ever choose the latter.
I'd rather Bethesda slop with some major adjustments than total OC slop.

Why do all the new OCs feel like the writers are trying to out-weird the other? Nothing wrong with factions that are out there as long as they're the small minority but when all the factions are like that, the whole world feels nonsensical. The best OCs are the mundane ones.
