My group is taking turns running one shot campaigns, and I'm next. While, I’m not new to the whole DM/GM, I am a somewhat, beginner, and I had this idea for my one-shot campaign that the BBEG’s motive, generally speaking, is rather petty in the grand scheme of things. How do I make it work, so that when they encounter the BBEG, they’re surprised by the motive? The campaign will be a murder mystery, set in a modern rural town of America somewhere in the Midwest and I’ll be using the storyteller system by white wolf.

obligatory rejected from art class
Weebs aren't cestree poster, they're not going to be offended by this kind of thing, because they didn't draw it.
You don't get the joke, do you?
The joke is Adolf Hitler.
That's the joke.
Where’s the joke?
don't worry, it's funny if you get the joke without having it explained to you.
I'm glad there's still one anon who somehow still finds lolrandumXD humor funny
Thanks, anon.
You seem petty enough to be a BBEG ITT. No need to get snippy over not getting a joke about one of the men qualified to be a BBEG in real life starting down his path over something as petty as getting rejected from art school.
On the contrary, nothing quite says petty like coming back a day later still seething that someone didn't find the "joke" you posted twice funny.
There was a joke?
You don't get that jokes are supposed to be funny, do you?
Randomly interjecting Hitler doesn't inherently make something funny.
No, but the way people react to unexpected Hitler appearances is priceless.
Especially when he turns up to save you from a TPK, then immediately starts disparaging your racial characteristics whilst casually popping pervitin tablets
Holy fricking shit. I never thought I'd see the day.
The day when a shitty joke isn't laughed at?
>is upset they didn't understand it
You see, if Hitler had got into art school, he may not have got so pissy he'd start WW2.
If he got into art school, he wouldn’t be the leader of Germany.
Yeah, but then another soldier bitter about the loss of ww1 would just find a way.
I get it, it's just not funny.
>I am a somewhat, beginner
>My group is taking turns running one shot campaigns
Oh damn, how did you pull that off? Convincing them to do that I mean. I'd love that in my groups, some advice would be appreciated.
I'll try to help you out. Women usually have more emotional reasons for doing crimes than men who are more practical. Things like: jealousy, feelings of inadequacy, unfairness, social slights can be strong motivators, even for murder.
Other than that, include good reasons for people wanting the victim dead, and when none of them turn out to be true, the petty reason will be all the more jarring in contrast.
>I'll try to help you out. Women usually have more emotional reasons for doing crimes than men who are more practical. Things like: jealousy, feelings of inadequacy, unfairness, social slights can be strong motivators, even for murder
So, something like pic related is what the OP needs for his BBEG’s motive on why they did it?
Delusional Stalker Attack yandere is the best.
>Delusional Stalker Attack yandere
This is a Future Funk artist name and you can't convince me otherwise
> how did you pull that off
Not OP, but that's being called "talking with the rest of the group"
Yes anon, "convincing" involves "talking". Good job on pointing out the obvious.
There was a pasta about an elven sorceress that just wanted to get her human lover who died of old age back.
Cue no sense of right and wrong, she'd rise up and destroy civilisations to get a better telescope to study star alignments to do a ritual to bring her back, and break the world to get the needed ingredients.
Not very petty, but in that vein and more interesting.
That’s the one, god, I miss old/tg/.
NTA but my group has always been rotating between 4 or 5 GMs.
We run the game for 5 to 10 weeks, a few weeks before we think it will reach a story arc climax we just ask who has anything to run next.
Tell your players you need a few weeks to read and write some new ideas, ask for anyone to run a short low level campaign, if no one is willing, offer to be assistant GM, if they still refuse, make them choose between a few weeks of nogames or board/card games instead.
If they are total buttholes, your group may disband. otherwise you at least get a few weeks break. The bore of playing monopoly should give someone the courage to pop their cherry.
Be very supportive of any temp GM you get, and try to steer the group to make his job easier/dont allow any shittalking of the learner.
None of that is helpful, sorry. I'm a player in two games, not a GM, and I want to get into running games. But none of the people in the groups have shown interest in a one-shot or a short adventure run by someone else, not even the guys running campaigns.
Being a "forever GM" is a completely self-imposed state so I can't think of who could even use your advice.
sorry, I have what you seem to want, I misunderstood your question, and you are being pissy about me trying to help you
>none of the people in the groups have shown interest in a one-shot
this might be a 'you' problem, if you cant get a session between two whole groups, make a charisma check...
>I can't think of who could even use your advice
Your imagination is lacking, you are denied the rank of GM
I would argue further, But i have a session to plan
I said sorry already. You understood my question perfectly, just assumed I was the GM in multiple groups with that problem, to my great confusion.
Maybe you're confrontational because I didn't say thanks? Thank you, and thank you for the insults I guess.
>I'll try to help you out. Women usually have more emotional reasons for doing crimes than men who are more practical. Things like: jealousy, feelings of inadequacy, unfairness, social slights can be strong motivators, even for murder.
if you use one of those motives for a man, it will be a lot more petty than if the bbeg was a woman.
"victim 1 backed into my pristine 1967 ford mustang and dented the door in the Golden Corral parking lot 2 days before the car show"
My BBEG simply pissed on a coat of one PC and forced them to wear it. They still hate him
The BBEG's hobbies were called cringey by the parents of the PCs. BBEG decides to double down, in the hopes they get their revenge on the PCs in the future.
Art commissioner who murders artists so their last work belongs to them.
This is actually a really good one and I'm stealing it.
The Villain is mad about something that didn't even happen.
>villain is a fa/tg/uy
The holocaust
Don't. People play roleplaying games because they want to get away from the banality of the real world.
You'd think so, but "Muh realism" abounds.
Maybe a little dark but if you ever watched any true crime there are a lot of instances where somebody ends up killing a bunch of people basically over sunken costs.
Like it can just be them doing poorly at school so they start telling little lies, which require bigger deceits to cover until eventually they murder their whole family. Once they start, they can't pull themselves out and can't stop.
There was a case of a man murdering four people at a motor shop because someone there made fun of his lack of knowledge in motorbikes.
Have it start like that. Wasted a day at the DMV then got snubbed by a rude receptionist or something. Has One Bad Day so goes back and kills them, then has to get someone who knows them too because they risk getting discovered and have it balloon out from there.
Have the female BBEG be a yandere for a man that ended up killing a bunch of people basically due to her mental psychosis. It would even be pettier if the female BBEG and her crush don't know each other due to her being shy and not having the courage to talk to him, making the death all the more tragic.
So, what manga is that? I've been interested in reading more psycho manga recently, and I want to read one from the perspective of a woman.
>what manga is that?
Not a manga, it's a porn doujin about some psycho woman who was too much of a coward to confess and instead decide to blackmail and rape her crush. Her entire motive is also petty in that she only did it because she was scared someone else would steal him away. Which is why I posted it in the first place, it would be a good enough motive for the murder mystery the OP is planning.
>coward to confess and instead decide to blackmail and rape her crush.
I’m sorry but what? That doesn’t make any sense.
Rather than communicate her feelings, she engineers a situation (via blackmail) to force the target of affections to sleep with her. Depending on the particular legal context in which the event occurred, that could be considered rape (and if not, usually a very strong sexual assault case carrying an equal penalty to rape).
Calling her a coward is the issue here. She was scared of confessing and, I can only assume, be rejected in turn. So, instead, she engineers a situation where she forces the target of her affection to sleep with her via blackmail. That’s not cowardly, evil, yes, but not cowardly.
No, she's definitely a coward in that case. She afraid of rejection, so she manipulates the situation so that there's no actual possibility of that happening. She's so afraid she goes to great lengths to never ever have to ask the question.
But, I mean, again, calling her a coward is a bit too far. Her actions a are anything but cowardly. Really, if anything, she’s more unscrupulous than anything.
Anon, what's wrong with you? She's a coward and a psycho.
She’s in love, you have to sympathize with her in that.
Not him, but she is a coward, this anon
got it right. In fact, if you read the doujin, it gets even worse in that she mocks and belittles other girls who are also in love with her crush by lambasting their "childish" confessions.
Girls using emotional manipulation or indirect coercion isn't "cowardly", it's their normal way of resoving conflict, they can't just duke it out with fisticuffs because of their -4str, so they had to come up with different methods.
>using emotional manipulation or indirect coercion isn't "cowardly"
Yes it is.
Who hurt you anon?
I've never had any major conflicts with women (maybe except for one primary school teacher long ago), but I have enough sisters and cousins to see how girls handle their major conflicts.
So, what's the name of this manga? I need to know for research purposes.
Admiral Is Mine by Takei Ooki
Does she win in the end? Does her plan even work?
She fricks the guy several times so I guess yes
>She fricks the guy several times so I guess yes
I thought her plan was to make him fall in love with her?
Why is her ass huge?
why not
You think that's huge?
What a delicious meal
God, what aI would give to destroy that ass.
Arashio is for femdom.
>Small woman somehow dominating a man that’s stronger and taller than her.
What’s the appeal?
Her pantyhose covered ass on my face
I still don’t get it, but I can respect it.
The greater the challenge, the greater the glory.
All the better to sniff, my dear.
Wait a second, you're not my dear grandma!
Glad to know there’s someone with taste here
I deserve to sink my torpedo into Arashio
Her plan did not work, and in fact, I would go as far and say she put herself in a terrible situation. She's afraid that someone else might steal him away, as she keeps repeating that she'll turn her crush so that he wouldn't be satisfied with anyone else, or he wouldn't forget about her body, so that she didn't have to be manipulative towards him anymore. But her crush has zero affection for her- everything that happens up until now to him is purely due to involuntary physical stimulation and blackmail. It's why she's resorting in getting pregnant, it's all she has left.
My last BBEG was nothing but petty. The party messed with him and his plan so he just did annoying shit like put them on all the goverment watch lists for everything, screwed with their businesses just enough to make everything hard, and sent them annoying text messages.
>I want my BBEG's motive to be petty
Make them a woman
BBEG eliminates those who witnessed something that he wanted to keep in secret because it could harm his reputation.
For example unappropriate relationships or fetishes or connection with organized crime.
Maybe a traitor general that betrayed his side because he decides the king/president didn't give him the right supply/information, units or a impossible mission causing the lose of a battle staining his perfect record. So now he works undercover for the enemy as revenge to the kingdom. Extra point when he justify himself saying this is revenge for his men or trying to get rid the corrupt leader only to reveal it was just for his silly record and pride.
The Nowhere King from Centaurworld. A self-loathing being who only knows suffering and only exists to cause it because he feels it and he's in the state he's in for the lowliest of reasons.
Honestly, I think the pettiest any of my villains have ever been was to cause an entire war, with all the deaths and destruction that would follow, just to wipe away one small village. Maybe I'm inspired by one of the better One Piece villain reveals, but I adore tossing a character like this at players.
"What drove you to this? All the murder, all the hate, what did the [target people] do to you?!"
>"[pic related]"
>Maybe I'm inspired by one of the better One Piece villain reveals, but I adore tossing a character like this at players.
You should use Zoom from the Flash. His entire motive is petty, and he plays it seriously.
Honestly, if you want a BBEG with the most pettiest motive, just use Black manta. Everything he does, is because he hates Aquaman, for no particular reason. Dude is incredibly petty and I think would serve a better example.
>Black manta
He and reverse flash are a good example of a BBEG with petty motive. It what makes them entertaining.
There's one alternate earth where MantaZoom is probably real. I forget which one, but it's the earth with the amalgam heroes that had AquaFlash.
Oh, good, a chance to finally post the amalgamation of DC's two pettiest sons of b***hes
Pandaemonium from Shokei Shoujo no Virgin Road, which just finished airing, was also a good example of a villain with a non-motivation that ends up working because she plays it well. She was a human at one point, with presumably normal human motives, but her original personality has become fully corrupted and now she exists purely to embody the type of magic she uses, which is chaos and monster-summoning. She needs no motivation for causing chaos and destruction because she literally is the embodiment of chaos and evil.
After getting a portion of herself unsealed from her prison she's just fricking around for fun and decides to recreate a monster movie with herself as the monster. She doesn't even mind being defated as long as it's suitably cinematic, since it's all just a big game for her and none of it really matters (her real body is still sealed away so she doesn't really lose anything important when "killed").
Go full Falling down. Random guy has a really bad day after decades of being shat on by his neighbors, his government, and his family, so he starts going on a rampage throughout the rural parts of the midwest, with escalating amounts of violence. It starts with a assault/disturbing the peace, but escalates to battery with a deadly weapon, severe destruction of property (bridges/roads/railroads), armed robbery, then murder. Find a really simple thing that he set out to do too, like going to work or trying to make it to a date, and something really shitty goes wrong like the bridge buckles a bit and his car get stuck in the wood, but he gets out before it either collapses or it just fricking stays there, stuck in the timber. PCs could be local cops trying to react to all of this and put an end to his rampage before people start dying.
Killdozer is the real life version of this. Guy was getting fricked over by his local government on zoning laws and shit and decided to turn a bulldozer into a tank and drive it through buildings.
>Killdozer is the real life version of this.
And he's revered for it, it always astounds me that he's rarely, if ever, vilified.
I think they even made a movie about him, I don’t know if it’s just him calling him out on a monster, but that’s something.
>I think they even made a movie about him
Two, one in Russia and one in netflix called Tread
Why the frick is Russian interest in him?
Killdozer was in the right. The town colluded to screw him over. The buildings he destroyed were owned by the mayor, sheriff and developer who'd screwed him over, not by-standers.
He isn't vilified, because the worst with him you can do is a man driven into insanity by the circumstances of other people. And since his rampage didn't kill anyone, it's even less possible to vilify him
Killdozer has nothing to do with Falling Down, aside "guy gets angry"
Obviously some stupid sex thing. Someone was jealous that someone else had sex with a third person OR someone didn't want someone to know that they had sex with a third person. Or just fear of the possibility of it.
For max cred make the clues start out indicating one but then the surprise is its actually the other.
My BBEGs in my current campaign have what started as a pretty serious matter that effectively boiled down to a petty squabble but because they're so powerful it's spiraled out of control
>BBEG 1 and 2 are both wizards, 1 is CG and 2 is LE but they work together anyway for their own benefit
>while fricking around there's an accident that erases 1's sister from existence and 1 blames it on 2
>gets revenge on him by forcing him into lichdom
>they see this as eye for an eye and enter a truce for half a century
>keep fricking with each other until their antics start to threaten the world
I don't know if that helps or is even coherent in greentext but there you go

, i don't care who is the General Tax Bureau sending me, I'M NOT PAYING ANY TAXES.
I mean, taxation is theft, so I can sympathize with his motive.
>Taxation is theft
No it isn’t and grow up already.
>I want my BBEG’s motive to be petty
... then make it so?
What's even the point of this thread beyond being low effort bullshit barely related to the hobby and then keeping it afloat for a week or two?
>How do I make it work,
Make it as believable as possible. I suggest you look up the news and find some inspiration for it.
>BBEG is a "strong woman"
>part of her backstory is being the strong woman who takes no shit from the patriarchy (I'm exaggerating a tiny bit, but I hope you get the idea)
>The reason why she did the murders a loving couple is because she couldn't handle being rejected by her crush who she was pining for years because he went after for a more feminine woman.
There, there's one petty motive that's realistic and believable and actually happen in real life
>>The reason why she did the murders a loving couple is because she couldn't handle being rejected by her crush who she was pining for years because he went after for a more feminine woman.
>>Got rejected by victim
Can someone explain this mindset for me? I never quite understood it, nor why people would do such a thing in the first place. Especially when they "love" said person.
Because they don’t love them. They’re possessive of them and would rather kill them than watch them be happy with someone else.
this
or possibly ego. "How dare X reject me. Nobody rejets me!"
What the frick is going on with that pic?
Woman tried to blackmail her crush and got rejected and didn’t take it well.
Love is an amalgam of many sentiments, what these people have is a fixation, and obsession untempered by respect or consideration. They feel they are owed that person, they feel they deserve that person, they think that person is greater than life and when they are rejected they lash out at those who denied them what they deserved, including the same person. When people is not people but idols, love can turn into hatred when they prove not to be perfect.
>Didn't win an X contest
>Got rejected by victim
>Homeowner's association drama
>Unhappy marriage
>Shear abject bordom.
>hear abject bordom
Senor Senior Sr. was a top notch villain.
You've probably already got it sorted by now, but I'm sharing my idea anyway:
The victim moved in relatively recently from the city. Most of the town found him distasteful because he's a city-slicker, he never really fit in. The victim enjoyed playing loud music from time to time to try to recreate the feeling of clubbing, which he kind of misses.
The murderer has misophonia and the bass from the victim's music was driving him up the wall. This is the murderer's reason for the murder.
>modern rural town of America somewhere in the Midwest
They didn't tip, or didn't tip enough.
They stared a bit too long at the town darling, or talk to-, or touched her.
They spoke ill of the local sports coach, or team, or interupted an important moment of a game.
They rode a bike into town
They are hippies/stoners
They found out someone keeps it in the family
>They didn't tip, or didn't tip enough.
People tip for basic services? What the frick.
It's a whole moronic thing, yeah.
Want an idea of how moronic it is? Tipping is so expected that restaurant workers like waiters "aren't paid" minimum wage. "Aren't paid" in quotes because, if tips aren't enough to make up the difference, the restaurant is required to pay it. It's basically an optional ~15% tax to every restaurant bill that ostensibly exists to reward good service and punish bad, but ends up being pure luck of the draw depending on whether a customer is a generous or tight-fisted.
>Want an idea of how moronic it is? Tipping is so expected that restaurant workers like waiters "aren't paid" minimum wage. Sounds extremely stupid, and I can't believe this is something that's implemented.
America is backwards, so it's to be expected.
>America is backwards
Obsessed.
It's a holdover from the Great Depression. Resteurants couldn't pay their servers so the servers started taking bribes in exchange for better service.
So if the restaurant is required to pay minimum wage when tips aren't enough, why do the workers give af if they get tipped or not? They lose nothing
Tipping can sometimes exceed their actual pay which makes waiting tables actually worth it. If you take out tipping most waiters would simply quit as the job wouldn't cover rent.
Assume that server can clear 3 tables per hour, works an 8 hour shift, and the bill for each table averages $60. With a fifteen percent tip per table and $2 per hour base wage, how much will that server make in 8 hours?
Just because they're supposed to doesn't mean they do
I'll bite. Make it be based around the BBEG being so high power and overconfident that killing is something they don't even spare a thought about - so, say, a vampire that kills someone purely because they kept playing loud music into the night repeatedly. Basically make the point be petty because killing is just nothing to this person at this point.
>This girl rejected me once
>It made me realize how stupid and annoying humans can be
You joke, but to some, this is an actual serious motive.
They’re not. They’re mad at the world and are just blaming women because they’re sad lashing out.
Rejected from art school
getting angry because you were rejected from your college of choice isn’t being petty
What's with the kancolle OP pics on /tg/ of all places lately? I'm not complaining and Arashio is sex, but
Tell me more about this Arashio, who is she?
lewd teasing botegirl
Sounds like she's a cheeky brat that needs correction.
God, the things I would do to her. She should be in jail for trying to tempt men to sin.
She’s too young, you pervert.
>born 26 May, 1937

Grammar.
Sounds dull, I thought it would be sexual in nature.
Yes
One of the most well written BBEGs I made in a two year campaign was literally a commoner who just had such a bad day because his biscuit was stolen and it was his daily food ration. A few deals with the devil layer he's a 25th level Demon lord the party had to stop.
The best part was, communities he hand Conquered actually thrived under him, because as a peasant he rarely had food. He was evil, but his people were always well fed and had easy access to basic amenities.
They just worked like damn slaves, which they really didn't seem to mind since again, really good food and water very easily, whenever they wanted.
>I don't like teal
Is this a reference to something? I don't get it
I had a minor villian become this. Originally a minor ranking vampire who abducts the players and secrets them away to the local underdark equivalent, where they would deal with the cabal.
Instead they kept asking about and searching for him after they succeeded, so I had him come back as a hyper-petty antagonist, orchestrating overly-convoluted schemes in attempts to either kill, maim, or inconvenience them, always working through proxies and from leagues away.
I think the one that really got the players was the hostage/bomb threat being a ploy to fill their bags of holding with kerosene and rocks.
>to fill their bags of holding with kerosene and rocks
You motherfricker
I would hate you so much for that
I love it
Tell us more about this minor villain. What happened to him?
Well, he yet un-lives, hiding in a bunker proofed against scrying creating exceedingly elaborate plans while he waits for the party to re-surface from the extra-planar temple delve they're in.
Hilariously, thanks to odd rolls, and some weird magic, stuff has happened that the party attributes to the vampire in question, despite it being impossible for him to interact with that dimension.
oh man, i just remembered why he's so petty about it too. His name is Carmine Von Nictor, but when he first kidnapped the party by charming them, he never actually gave them his name, so when the first party member was trying to get the rest of the party to meet his 'good old friend' he supplied the name "benny".
And they just kept calling him that to his face, making him mighty petulant.
The last actual scheme he pulled off was setting a variety of DEEP pit traps along a major road, and letting some traders fall in. when the party tried to haul the trader's wagon out with their own, he blew the sides of the pits apart with powder kegs, causing the hole to widen and the party to slide in and burying the traders.
While the party focused on watching out for an ambush and saving the suffocating traders, Benny went invisible, loosed the camels pulling their wagon, and set a time-delay bomb in the wagon itself, which ended up burning about 60k gold worth of magical components, weed, and melting several bullion of silver into slag.
This did leave the party with a few ingots of magically enhanced silver as a side effect though.
Make him the BBEG of your campaign and subvert you players expectations
So the main reason he fight them is because they keep calling him benny.
Seems reasonabld
>The criminal mastermind that commit a series of murders on college campus was just some femcel seething that the guy she was pining over for months went on a date with another woman that wasn't her.
Truth be told, the people of my table didn't believe it, because no woman could ever be an incel, but the motive for the muders were petty enough to my liking.
>Truth be told, the people of my table didn't believe it, because no woman could ever be an incel, but the motive for the muders were petty enough to my liking.
Why would they find it hard to believe a woman could be a femcel?
Not him, but women have it easier when it comes to dating, so yeah, kinda hard to believe.
I think you need to get off /LULZ/.
I think you need to finally lose your virginity.
At this point, what you did is more of a cliche than anything else. But honestly, I blame generic crime shows.

What?
It depends on the fan artist ultimately but a lot of fan depictions of kancolle have the girl's living in a modern say setting, with some memories of what happened to "them" during WW2 being remembered by the characters
It takes place in the modern day, Imuya explicitly has a phone. Also iirc mentions of foods in the hourlies that weren't eaten in the 40s.
Correct, which is why I specified fan works
>mentions of foods in the hourlies that weren't eaten in the 40s.
Yes like Musashi and Yahagi mentioning Burgers as being a new food in their hometown
What a cute group of girls.
Comfy.
Whoever the chick on the phone is, she's pretty hot for a psycho.
Hibiki
>Hibiki
She's cute.

Because she's cute.
Made for breeding
That’s not Arashio.
How does she get away with having those legs at her age?
I want to breed her so badly. It should be a crime that she isn't a mother. Why does she have such a breedable body?
The frick is going on with that image. Is the woman on the phone mad at the woman with the hat? Is this some sort of murder mystery manga?
Just a soviet shipgirl hating on a german shipgirl.
They're both soviet, though one was Imperial Russian and the other was Imperial Japanese.
The artist, Ebiblue, is known for making psycho women.
>Psycho woman

Sounds legit. Best of luck, hope you're the smartest person in the group cuz you have 3+ brains working against you

they just like killing
Can’t blame them, who wouldn’t like killing?
He blames humanity for everything bad that happens in his life
Make him a bumpgay, that's the most petty thing in existence.
If you ever read the Star Wars EU, just used the Sith as a basis for your BBEG motive. The Sith are incredibly petty and spiteful, to such a comical degree that it reaches to absurdism levels.
>Sith
The Sith are largely written poorly by authors who don't know them well enough. Take for instance, George Lucas interpretation of them. They're anything but petty, spiteful, yes, but that comes with the territory, but petty no. Darth Bane, not to mention Darth Sidious motives were pretty grand, unlike other Sith, who were just kill the Jedi for shit and giggle. Even Vader's motive of trying to bring peace and prosperity to the galaxy is noble and something various people have tried to emulate.
I thought Dart Sidious motive was to prepare the galaxy for the arrival of the Yuuzhan Vong since he foresaw it in a force vision?
I can't tell if this is bait or not, but Sidious never gave two shits about the Yuuzhan Vong. If anything, he would have performed worse than the New Republic and Imperial remnant. Something that was even considered in-universe.
>The Sith are largely written poorly by authors who don't know them well enough. Take for instance, George Lucas
Good one, solid 7/10
The three most prominent Sith in George Lucas's story, Darth Bane, Darth Sidious, and Darth Vader has motives that were understandable and Grand. With the Possible exception of Revan, every Sith Lord's motive has been petty or just kill the Jedi.
Traya had some pretty ambitious motives.
Yeah, but Darth Traya's main motive was pretty petty, she was literally seething that she kicked out of the Jedi order and forced to take the blame about Revan. Her meeting with the surviving Jedi council pretty much encapsulates it.
Yeah, but she rebuild the Jedi order and that lasted until order 66, so ai wouldn’t say her motives were petty.
>she rebuild the Jedi order
She rebuilt the order in her image, after literally killing every other jedi except for the Jedi exile, and even then, we can't know for sure.
His grandma had to sit at the back of the bus
and grandpa was denied 40% of his voting rights?
His grandpa is in prison
One of my best villains was a guy who acquired powers and literally just wanted to see what would happen if he did a bunch of evil shit to this one specific small country town and if eventually somebody would stop him.
The killer targets people that didn't finish his wife's deserts as he thinks it's a slight against her.
If they only ate half, dead.
If they left one bite, dead.
If they left to many crumbs, dead.
He doesn't target people that politely decline because "There's no room left", but saying something like "Never was a fan of jello.", "We have ice-cream at home", or "Maybe next time" and he kills them too.
Just fricking call him "the villain." BBEG is such weeaboo Final Fantasy video gamey bullshit.
Look dude, I was going to bed, and I just skimmed through the thread, but now I HAVE to answer.
It's Big Bad Evil Guy. It's the final challenge dude behind the major plot.
Not just "a villain character", and not just "the final challenge", it's not just "the one behind the plot"
It's everything at once, because if it's just one of the three, then the campaign isn't over.
But the reason I needed to answer you, is that I entered this thread waiting for more like this
But the thread is 75% weeaboo fricking trash and your comment looks really fricking stupid in the middle of it
soulcatcher ala black company
At this point this is literally just a Kantai collection thread.
That’s a good thing.
Traditional games?
Legit, answer me this. Why is she such a tease?
Probably just to get attention
It evidently works
Okay, I’ll give in her temptation and frick her.
Shimakaze is better.
>Shimakaze (male)
That’s a woman. .
>Sufficiently puffy vulva becomes intistinguishable from the bulge.
No that particular picture is some guy cosplaying as Shimakaze, it is what that artist is known for.
Shimakaze is a woman. There are no shipboys.
Correct but
isn't a picture of Zekamashi, just some guy
You need to have your eyes check.
I don't, you need to check out the eyes in
Shima's eyes never look like that
I refuse.
She's flat, wearing a school girl uniform and a backpack, and is often depicted about to pull a searchlight with a "crime prevention buzzer"' look to it. You are absolutely supposed to see her as a e-girl.
>How do I make it work, so that when they encounter the BBEG, they’re surprised by the motive?
If I'm being honest, go to reddit. I'm pretty sure they have various subreddits where people act and behave petty for minor shit they deal with in their lives and seek validation. Just find the most believable (fake) story and go from there. And if you don't want to use reddit, try searching up real life criminal's motive, some of them are incredibly petty.
This is your local right wing death squad with a public service announcement. There is a small boatbawd with a tight dumpy going around and sexually harassing older men, teasing and soliciting sex from them. If you see this e-girl hoe, do not attempt to confront or otherwise communicate with her. Contact us and we will arrive shortly to apprehend and discipline her.
>discipline
nudge nudge wink wink say no more
It involves a stool, a hentai cap (a dunce cap but with the word "hentai" written on it), a dark corner of the room, and social ostracization.
>Implying Tatsuta is any better.
At least she looks older.
You utter fool you
She’s not a e-girl.
Looks like one to me
Why are they showing their panties?
It's for a nighttime mission.
They’re going to make more shipgirls.
You there! Stop that!
Why should they?
No penis.
money is a powerful motivator that is also fairly petty, especially if it's actually not all that much in the grand scheme, like say the savings of a blue collar middle class boomer. Or a payout from a life insurance policy on an old person.
>money is a powerful motivator that is also fairly petty
Really depends on the person's situation, someone who grew up poor won't find the thought of hoarding money to be petty.
If the killer grew up poor, they might kill for an even pettier amount of money.
Yes, and my argument is that, for the killer, the amount isn’t petty since he grew up poor.
His girlfriend left him for a chad.
Now that’s petty.
>Bumpgay goes full schizo and just talks with himself for a week
There's like 110 different IPs.
Since I've made that post, I've been in 3 different places, used 5 different PCs and also been using 2 different hotspots.
Does it means there were 7 people, or just me?
Haughty schoolteacher from out of town got proposed to by a common Joe Blow and went insane because she realized she was never going to get married to 'anyone decent'. Went on a hot date with a vampire out of desperation and midlife crisis and now she's a vampire too, with delusions of grandeur to match.
Tiktoker kills another tiktoker because she was getting more famous. Yes, this actually happened.
that's not petty, influencers are serious business
Not him, but what influences? Just woman dresssing up as anime girls.
>influencers are serious business
Have you seen some of the tiktok videos?
Jesus Christ, we’ve failed as a species.
>Yes, this actually happened.

Not him, but I found that some tiktoker do take that shit seriously.

The internet was a mistake, and has been ruining Humanity for a long time.
I'll say its more the parent's fault than anything else. They let their children be raised by the internet and it allows children to form skewed priorities.
Not arguing with you, but the internet has been a detriment to humanity ever since it’s existence.
>getting rid of your competition is... LE BAD
Yes, you psycho.
Not even just because murder. Low competition always screws over customers.
That's not petty, thou. That's just securing the assets
how is this thread still up
Not a bad thread, reminded me that the best reaccuring villans are petty and funny.
Looks more like a cute and funny villains thread to me

>Sad to see someone would sage a thread to let it die faster.
They just want off-topic coomer threads.
