When I stayed at my grandma's every other weekend, her local Blockbuster had the demo station with the stickers with your photos on them you could print out. I miss them days.

My Blockbuster did system rentals which was fricking awesome. I don't know why but I always got a small box of milk duds whenever I went in there. I dunno, I never even liked them but I guess they were better than the hot tomales.

Kirby Superstar, Super Metroid, and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko.

I never liked milk duds either, but I always grabbed something. Video games and candy are two of the three great joys in life (the third is legs) and it was just nice having the two in one place every time.

Earthworm Jim 3D or the Duck Dodgers N64 game and a random WCW PPV VHS tape.

      >the Duck Dodgers N64 game
      My brother!

I can remember renting Glover, Army Men Sarge's Heroes, and Jet Force Gemini

I rented Glover, too. Army Men is something I was always interested in playing from seeing it in Nintendo Power, but I just never saw it around or thought about it at the right times.

I didnt get a memory card for like a year after I got the ps1.

Say what you will about how hard the N64 lost to the PS1, but memory cards were some absolute bullshit if you were poor or had strict parents.

This was one of the first games I played on the PC. The only memory I have of it was thinking that it was fun on easy difficulty, but then when I switched it to normal every other car in the arena would go straight for me as soon as the light turned green.

I was done renting games after the 4th gen. 5th gen and onward is when I just bought games that interested me. (after doing my research) Darkstalkers 3 was the first PS1 game in my collection. I digress, though; in the mid-90's, my go-to rentals were Sonic & Knuckles and Yoshi's Island.
