i have adhd and I loved this game. I can make deliveries while listening to a podcast or watching some slop

I’m 32, the game’s story is offensively bad. The gameplay is 8/10 and everything else is questionable at best.

i put that game down so many times after playing a few hours but it finally clicked. now i'm legend of legend of legends on every delivery and only 5 memory chips away from 100%. i can't fricking wait for ds2.

    >wasting millions putting celebrities in the game
    >forgets to balance it so it has a minimum of challenge
    >forgets to put more than one mission type in the game outside of going back and forth doing fetch quests
    >abominable bosses, from the guy who supposedly worked on the mgs games

    fricking turbo hack

Zoomer buzzword. Wtf are you talking about? It plays like MGSV in both traversal AND combat.

Euro Truck Simulator does this better and is less of a chore to play

I shit on it because of wienerjima stupid use of the game's budget for idiocies that aren't making the game better while ignoring things that deserve to be worked on more but I still enjoyed it. Some parts are phenomenals and there's nothing like it in the industry.
Now, I can't get back into elden ring, it's too boring and repetitive in a bad way but I feel excited about replaying death stranding and making dumb deliveries. Is it worth it to replay it and pick the biggest delivery bonuses to get the smallest timers on them? Is it a good way to get a refreshing challenge or is the game still too easy?

Not sure. I'm more about the vibe and going slow. I don't care much about those timed deliveries. But I've seen people say that you have to hamper yourself a bit to make the game more challenging otherwise it just doesn't work to simply put the game on hard.

If it's a walking sim then so is Halo. You walk the same amount in both games. Oh, what's that, you get a warthog in Halo? Yeah, you frickin get trucks and motorcycles in Death Stranding. Oh you get machine guns in Halo so therefore it's not a walking sim? Interesting since you get guns in Death Stranding too. There's nothing about the game that's vastly different from any "normal" game except the ability to fall over if you're not paying attention and it's only a problem at the very beginning of the game.

i was so confused about everything after i completed this game. it was like a shizophrenic with clanging words together into a story and then that story was made into a video game. i think kojima has honestly gone insane

      >surreal cosmic horror
      >I DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT HAPPENED

lol, sad that some people will never understand cosmic horror but kojima’s message was essentially: Get along, even in the face of the apocalypse.

      That’s pretty much it.

Kojima's message: Keep on keeping on.

Really? I found storytelling weird, but most of the broad strokes of what was happening was very straight-forward. I think I managed to get a good grasp of what was going on around me. It just when Kojima tried to explain every nook and crany that every now and then I had to backtrack a bit to make sense of it. But yeah, you can't really say that the story is the higher point, I feel. Like many Kojima games, it shines in the gameplay.

You better be able to explore cities in DS2. You're getting blue balled HARD in one whenever you're near the bunkers/new cities or the ruins of old ones because you CAN'T ACTUALLY GO THERE. FRICK.

I really thought that I was going to hate this game but after playing and getting in the zone, it really grew on me and made me understand why games like Eurotruck simulator is an actual thing.
That being said: don't ever try and be a completionist with this game b/c out of the 500 or so missions, only 30 of them actually reward something worthwhile.
I'm looking forward to DS2, though I really hope that in that game they'll give players the option to pop on a radio or something in the vehicle
