Only the original trilogy and maybe Judgement. Don't touch 4 or 5
Yea theyr'e good coop at least the first one. I never finished that though
>gears
>my dad
it's over.
I've only played 1 and 2 and I thought they were pretty good. I replayed 1 recently and it holds up.
Wish we could get a trilogy collection so that 2 and 3 weren't stuck in 360 hell.
If you do not like the idea of unaliving larvae with big ass arms and legs with a automated lightmachine gun with a chainsaw bayonett, then this game is not for you, and you are probably a dissapointment to your dead in the inside of his soul.
if your dad likes it, then you will too.
Gears 5 is kino if you play it Co-op with a friend, it does some really mindfricky stuff. Not gonna spoil.
But honestly probably just play the first 3 via emulator.
Idk anything about 4
Gears 5 was mostly good through the campaign, but that weird pseudo open-world parts they did were cooler in concept than execution. Gears is at its best when it's linear with some wider / more vertical arenas that allow for better designed encounters. Doubt 6 will reach the heights of the original trilogy, but I can dream.
I can agree with that, the open world chunks were just good opportunities for my friend and I to banter, so I never really thought about it.
I miss my friends.
My buddy and I still quote Gears all the time, played through all of the games with him multiple times. Hope you find new friends to play with or reconnect with some old ones, anon.
Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it.
The first game is the only good one. I think the first one and the remastered one are on Game Pass.
Vs is where the real fun is.
Is it even alive? I've thought about buying a gears 5 key but can't decide if it's even worth my time if there's no one playing. Frickin hell I miss all that stupid shit, I miss the hilarious glitches like the backflip karate kick from gears 1 that let you get out of the map and all of the other insane stuff people used to do like remote chainsawing and roadie running
Yea just play the first one.
The first three.
I'm afraid they have far too much testosterone for you, little timmy. better stick with fortnite.

my dad says their good games too, but he's only played the older ones, up to 3 I think so play those.
There was alot of multiplayer play though, I don't know if its still active for those older titles
3 still is, it's all my dad plays. And whenever I play with him we have no trouble finding games. The 60 fps upgrade revived it a little
2 for the graphics, but you probably don't have the mindpower to resist it's poz. Most don'tand fail to identify it as the most degenerate game ever made. The rest of the series is forgetable.
They're fine enough. Just your most basic of basic cover shooters.
I finished the original on hardcore but didn't really walk away thinking I'd replay it regularly in the future; the setting's a bit weird to me, giving 40kish vibes at times or Starship Troopers when walking through the House of Sovereigns, but then you have some more "normal" stuff like Cole being a college ball star or streets almost looking like something you'd see in your own neighborhood.
Played it on PC and didn't play co-op.
play the trilogy with him
Why ask us over your dad? homosexual
the first 3 are fun. multiplayer always kinda blows because of no dedicated servers so the host just wipes their ass with everyone else in the game
I am officially old. Wow.
