Consoles will never have 60fps as the standard. No matter how powerful or cutting edge the specs are, the game devs will mostly prefer to maximize the graphic fidelity for 30fps.

If they want to make 60fps a selling point, they can do so easily. Especially with consolegays who will defend anything marketing tells them to.

its the same every time. early games run at 60 and highest avaiable resolution, especially cross platform games. then as the gen goes on the devs start going for more expensive "next gen" graphics features and framerates go down to 30 and then 20-30 and then the next gen comes
