Interesting take but I think it's a bit more complicated than that. I think there are certain people that will NEVER get addicted to alcohol, nicotine, or weed simply because...it tastes bad. Some people GENUINELY value taste more than the effect of something. The idea that you can develop "incorrect taste" then. Is wrong. Feelings and Desire are arbitrary anyway.
