When I briefly tried out black desert online I made an elderly wizard named Shekellister. Spent a long time getting his custom hands clasped pose right.
So is the game actually good? Any bugs, and overtly long tutorials? Any sudden crashes?
Since all I've been reading are some people being mad at it for whatever reason.
no real tutorial, just a difficulty spike once you get past the first few objectives. You'll make quite some mistakes with your first base especially since it didn't have a tutorial. Hadn't had a crash yet.
But pathfinding of pals in your base is very glitchy and wonky. Pals tend to get stuck like crazy if you built your base on cramped terrain but it can be avoided by picking very flat terrain for your base and making sure you don't place the beds and storage chests too close to a wall. Oh and it would be best if you didn't give your large pals a reason to go up stairs.
