I wanted to make an elemental caster and apparently those are weak too because everything has inflated resistances. Why the frick is this game designed around meta autism.
there's a mythic ability for that
elemental something-or-other
started the side dlc yesterday
how much can my guys rest?
i cleared the graveyard and rested there and now they are twitching and growling
and i used 1 potion that i found on grandma after she got injured in the tunnels
you can ignore all resistances later
its based on the worst adventure path. Don't know why they picked it when they could've done Legacy of Fire or Reign of Winter (with as much as Owlcat likes their waifus Reign is perfect)
Never played a tabletop game before. Currently reading the PHB for 5e as it seems like it would be fun. Is the Pathfinder stuff worth looking at too? I hear it's very crunchy for calculations and the company is very woke, but at least from the games I enjoy the setting and lore a lot. The DnD stuff feels rather disjointed in comparison.
DnD 5e feels disjointed because it's massively simplified to appeal to a broader audience and all that. That's not to say tabletop can only be fun when there's a bunch of math to do, but 5e went way too hard with it, so there's not enough systems to mess around with. Pathfinder is definitely much more interesting.
And if you think Pathfinder is woke, you're in for a rude awakening when you play DnD.
>And if you think Pathfinder is woke, you're in for a rude
Explain me how I'm ending up with 4 fricking female companions in both games? All warriors in plate armor and double handed weapon wielding barbarian classes. There's a limit to how much I can suspend my disbelief and game literally puts women in unfitting classes like it's nothing.
I don't see why you are so hung up on female warriors in universe where there's a man living on the sun because he hates everyone and mortals can become gods.
It's the same morons who think Anevia's magical potion gender change is lore breaking when I could have my human caster permanently change himself into a gargangtuan sized dragon with fully working dragon reproductive organs.
It's both a hight magic AND high fantasy setting for frick's sake.
>What do you mean having a car as a member of the Ring Wraiths is lore breaking?
>It's a fantasy world of dragons, elves and magical rings! How is a 1992 Honda Accord any different!?!?!
we had a gender reverse belt in bg1
dont act that scenario were someone changes their gender magically is something that was invented in 2011
And in the scene from Lord of the Rings where Samwise Gamgee declares "This is the farthest away I've ever been from the shire" a car can be seen in the background.
If cars are clearly part of the universe, it's not a huge leap for one to appear as a ring wraith.
homie you are moronic
you have a spell that turns you into a dragon
transformation are obviously common here
how the frick is that comparable to the car?
If a car appears in the Lord of the Rings film (Which it does) there's absolutely nothing ill-fitting about one appearing as a Ring Wraith.
ok buddy
just don't look up when it rains
One is intended to be there, the other is not. One breaks the setting, the other does not. Incredibly dishonest argument
The original belt wasn't intended to be a justification for trannies. It's intended as a joke on the player, and treats trannies as both a punishment and source of amusement.
Much in the same way using a blooper as justification for casting a car as a ring wraith would be absurd.
How is transforming sex in the Pathfinder setting an absurd thing? That seems rather tame compared to what magic can do otherwise
>How is including some dude's weird sex fetish to be retreated like a woman an absurd thing?
How is it anything but absurd? Some dude that wants to pretend to be a woman so he can abuse kids, or get his jollies off or whatever the frick these sick fricks desire isn't really something that should be included in a game.
Much in the same way topics like magically choosing to retain a childlike appearance and engaging in sex shouldn't also be.
>Some dude that wants to pretend to be a woman so he can abuse kids, or get his jollies off or whatever the frick these sick fricks desire
it's a fantasy world
anevia is not like a real life troon
>It's okay to have a representation of a pedophile as long as he's not like an actual pedophile
Fricking what?
you're grasping at straws here mate
Are you implying that pedophila and troonyism aren't comparable?
Because I assure you, in terms of harm to child, they absolutely are.
i'm implying that this is a fantasy world and that real life troons have nothing to do with it
this is so tiresome, /misc/ brainrot is harming us more than leftists ever will
But real life informs fantasy.
If you want pure fantasy, why not have US marines, 1992 Honda Accords and all other ill-fitting shit that makes about as much sense as a troony in the lore too?
>If you want pure fantasy, why not have US marines, 1992 Honda Accords and all other ill-fitting shit
because it's garbage and nobody would find it interesting, dumbass
and i can tell from here that you're no older than 17, D&D had gender changing items since the days of AD&D, possibly even before
i swear to god there's nothing worse than an american kid who got way too into politics
YWNBA
How embarrassing
homie i'm more of a natsoc than you'll ever be in your pathetic life
learn to tell the difference between fantasy and reality or you won't go far
>muh iomedae's chosen queen
there, that's their reasoning
frick iomedae
frick the queen
behead those who insult erastil
yes, and?
i'm perfectly aware of that and if it was up to me i'd crucify all troons
doesn't mean that one hidden troon in a videogame will ruin a perfectly good experience that satisfies my build autism at this level
>One hidden troon
>And also 4 Black folk
>And an entirely LGBT+ cast...
>And the fact all women are perfect and powerful...
>And the anti-white version of Not-Europe in the game....
Okay. Nice LARP.
>And the fact all women are perfect and powerful.
Do you think Queen Galfrey was portrayed as perfect and powerful?
>he did not play the game
refer to my previous post you fricking dindu
>anti-white version of not-europe
what
what the frick are you even talking about
CHELIAX? are you seriusly fricking talking about cheliax like it's supposed to be not!europe?
good lord man get a grip
Black person did YOU play the fricking game?
What the frick are you talking about?
if you don't know what cheliax is you didn't play the game
I'm pretty sure this game doesn't have a single straight white male human companion...
By definition, the entire cast is LGBT
and? would you not consider daeran based for his opinions just because he's bisexual?
I mean, he's literally a Black person. So, no.
Sounds pretty woke.
you have 2 human companions total at all my man
everyone else arent human
you are looking for sunflower seeds in rice
4
oh i forgot about trevor
but who else?
oh yeah
do you have to go angel to get her?
You have to romance her to recruit her, and she only accepts Angel, Aeon, Legend and GD
So wait she was crowned queen at 40 then there was 120 years of crusades, she got the magical make-me-young-again juice twice, how the frick did her knight-husband survive that long? Shouldn't her three children be dead too? Pathfinder lore makes no sense.
No, that's just what happens to her in the retconned timeline were the Worldwound never opened, if you weren't cruel enough to make her remember
imagine you dream of your perfect love
it's the best dream you've had, you overcome all adversity with her and are finally released from the oppressive life that was breaking you apart
then you wake up and you feel horrible for a few hours
imagine feeling like this for your whole life, i can't begin to comprehend it
aeon "remember me" ending is beyond kino
It's kino, but unarguably selfish. You're basically dooming your friends and lover with a permanent sense of loss and longing for person that straight up doesn't exist anymore. Making them completely forget and live out peaceful, happy lives without the burden of a past that never came to be is a superior ending, albeit harder for the MC to swallow
no doubt
but narratively speaking it's absolute kino
especially regill's ending
>how are you not dead yet
>the commander hasn't given me the permission to die
god
i get shivers every time
this is the
>stops existing
aeon ending
i'll respec him this time, i need a gigahomie with gigastrenght in my party
mate that's not even a caramel tan
are you colourblind?
>seelah
>sosiel
>galfrey?
>...finnean?
>blonde spawn of heaven
>Black person
mate
Giga homie
i sometimes forget about gigahomie
it's a shame that his build is super fricked unless you install mods to respec him
he is barely a character
and even less a companion his build is horrible
He literally has black skin.
in what universe is this light tan considered black skin you stupid Black person
Do you know many white people with black skin?
I'm glad mods exist to de-nig this homosexual.
>change his skin color
>change his face that make him look ugly
Why?
Ew Black person. Not my idea of white so it's a Black person. A troony too.
he looks monumentally worse
it doesn't fit one bit
>changes his face and adds a beard
hes supposed to look like an uwu blood elf homosexual you fricking moron the juxtaposition between his ethereal appearance and his behavior is part of the fricking characterization
Better than him being a Black person.
I refuse to believe it's harder to simply change the skin tone of the original portrait than remake the whole head into some gay early 2000's boy band member.
All you did was make him look more gay.
>shadow makes a person a Black person
?
Sure, look at this black guy
Ah yes, my favourite tanned person.
Will Smith.
Anon, you do notice how one part is covered in shade and one is illuminated, right?
No, you do not, cause Black folk live rent free in your brain
>L-light-lighting!!!!
Yes.
Light and shadows.
I know you have not left your room in 20 years, but when light shines from other sources than your PC screen, such phenomena are possible.
homie how is this the same thing
Damn, you mean to tell me black people have different skin tones?!
Based and redpilled. Blackoids btfo. No more nonhumans in video games! On Ganker it is only permitted to post WHITE HUMAN MALE SOLDIERS from now on! Frick off back if you cant handle that! We are in the middle of a culture war.
Trannies are garbage that nobody but trannies find interesting.
Nobody actually sees a troony and thinks "Yup, that's a real women", people just tell trannies that so they stop whining, or because they're just pleasant people who don't want to hurt the feelings of others.
The only people pushing this shit are trannies, and braindead leftists.
>why not have US marines, 1992 Honda Accords and all other ill-fitting shit that makes about as much sense as a troony in the lore too?
Do you know how high fantasy the game is? How much reality breaking shit can happen? How many ways of transforming there are? Stop trying to use the setting in your fight against trannies, because it makes no sense. Just say that you don't want to support the game because they included a troony, instead of this pretending about being concerned with the setting. Sex transformation is some lightweight shit in Pathfinder
Have you even played the game?
Anevia isn't pretending. Anevia has been magicked to be a woman.
>How is it anything but absurd? Some dude that wants to pretend to be a woman so he can abuse kids, or get his jollies off or whatever the frick these sick fricks desire isn't really something that should be included in a game.
You don't actually think it's absurd because of lore. You think it's absurd because of real life
Yes, something that is repugnant, disgusting and harmful to others should not be portrayed in a positive life in a video game.
How did you find out Anevia is a trans?
there's on time question that has a hidden 40 perception check
and was mostly known due to datamining
i went demon and kill them both the moment i found out.
I mean, you can just look at him.
No?
If woman being ugly was the criteria, then Seelah, Wendu etc would be trannies too
wendu would be the troon king
TranBlack folk (Trans Black folk) actually have an easier time passing because sheboons look fairly manly by default so there's not much gender dimorphism compared to other human sub-species.
What the hell are you even on about now?
That does not change the fact you're still talking about a high magic high fantasy setting where magic can do everything, and transformations of all sorts have always been a part of fantasy, including sex ones.
It's utter nonsense you are so hung about changing one's gender while conveniently ignoring in the same setting I could have my human wizard permanently change himself into a creature of completely alien anatomy instead like a Beholder when compared to a humanoid.
>Obviously intended as a joke against trannies in bg1
>Used as a justification for trannies in Pathfinder
Literally everything wrong with modern tabletop.
Are you just pretending to be an absolute 8 INT moron with that nonsense comparison?
The entire setting has been built with women in positions of power from the start, both Pathfinder and D&D have always been like that.
They were never direct copies of medieval Europe, especially not social customs wise.
There is 0 explanation given to why a woman is just as physically strong as a man in the DnD universe.
because girls in armor are hot deal with it
Because it's a fantasy setting, morono.
There is also zero explanation as to why humans can achieve 18+ in physical or mental stats, something that's beyond ultra athlete and genius tier, or can whistand a direct flaming inferno of dragon breath to the whole body and still survive just fine without long lasting highly debilitating burns for the rest of their lives, but I suppose these don't fit your agenda so it's fine to ignore them.
Normal people wouldn't also start shouting troony troony like demented schizoids when you first meet Anevia if that hasn't been used as shitoposting point in all of the Pathfinder threads here.
He literally looks like this.
homie how mind broken you are that you look for trannies everywhere
meh
there are uglier women in the game
typical lesbian
literally the same
Troon cope
homie go touch some grass
you soon will be seeing troons in your own room at that pace
There's an explanation. He's reaching those levels of strength by constantly being in a challenging environment and defeating powerful enemies. He then picks up the items of powerful foes which protects him from a dragons breath or amplifies himself with magic that he has a protective shield against fire. You're moronic if you couldn't figure this out.
>He's reaching those levels of strength by constantly being in a challenging environment and defeating powerful enemies.
Except that would mean going beyond the max physical and mental potential of a real human, which is limited even with genetic variations.
Once again, funny how if it doesn't fit your agenda it's not "lore" or "setting" appropriate anymore.
Apparantly it's fine for a human woman to be held back by her real life inherent physical weakness compared to a man, but a man can achieve superhuman stats that break their physical and mental potential just fine in a fantasy setting.
The hypocrisy is palpable.
Correct, and its been that way since day 1. Women in D&D are physically jut as strong as men, it is a different world than ours and has different rules, one of those is putting studs on leather magically makes it better armor and another is women in are just as strong as men, probably as much for simplicity's sake in 1974 as for 2020's woke points. If you don't like it come up with your own roleplay system and campaign setting, publish some modules for your homebrew and see if it catches on.
Don't shit talk my studded leather.
Studded leather exists because Gary Gygax saw a Brigandine from the outside at a museum but not the inside and didn't bother to read the little card describing the piece either and this misconception got codified and carried on in the rules for 40+ years
i will NEVER live this down
i will ALWAYS point this out
i've been a DM for 9 years and i've always changed studded leather to "light brigandine" when giving equipment
Ganker told him, he never played the game
I had a DM playing a blacksmith for our...frick it was like 15 years ago, I think it was warhammer fantasy game hear the term "studded leather" and go into a 20 minute rant about it. The DM was shouting in faux welsh valley accent but in my head it will always be my "Billy and the cloneasaurus" moment.
I think just about every DM I've had over the years has gone on that same rant at one point or another.
I think its hot, that's good enough reason for me.
The comic jokes but that's basically how the pathfinder games work.
What if their grandfather wanted some giant puss?
Imagine the meltdown if men had more str and women more dex. Every autistic dipper minmaxer would be forced to play as a woman
DEX is garbage overall compared to STR in Wrath, so not really.
Need to get both a normal AND a Mythic feat to even begin to function normally, and then also misses out on a TON of extra stats from size spells and other easy STR boosts like Eaglesoul.
And then your tanking potential means nothing when the petchad would just tank for you and the STRchad could just ride it to completely ignore AC if you wanted to go the min maxer way, or just use a reach weapon.
lmfao, you never played this game
I have, and I have also completed it on Unfair with ease.
DEX is suboptimal and the petchad will tank vastly better than your pajama dipping shitters except it does it at NO COST, especially for the early game which is where difficulty actually matters, while also retaining high APR and damage + free CC on hit even early game.
A level 2 Leopard can achieve 30 AC with just hours long buffs like Mage Armor. And still have +10 BAB with 3 APR.
STR is not only vastly easier to increase, it also even adds more damage from 2H.
Do tell me where you are getting that extra +6 size to STR from Legendary Proportions when Reduce Person is limited to just +2. together with the damage dice increase from size.
And also the +4 Sacred from Eagesoul.
froggy where are you there's a shitbuild tard who needs correction
Yes this is exactly why America should have capitulated to based Nazi Germany. You redditor trannies brought it on yourselves when you betrayed our race.
>There is 0 explanation given to why a woman is just as physically strong as a man in the DnD universe
She has the same STR
A woman of average women strength has 50% less upper body strength of a man of average strength.
but the number is the same
Sure, but it represents less.
A troll has a strength rating of 18.
A human male with a strength rating of 18 is not as strong as a troll.
nah dawg
its 18 that means +4
yeah because the troll is large and has a +4 bonus on combat maneuvers and double carry weight
Yeah, and a male is a male so that should confer a bonus over female.
size and numbers are the only thing that matters
if a woman has 18 str then she's a strong as a male with 18 str
you may say that a woman should start from 6 instead of 8 if you really want to go that way, but as long as the number is the same the strenght is the same unless there's a size variation
Yeah, that's obviously a bad system because obviously being male should confer benefits. Just like how being large has benefits over being normal.
It's just basic biology, and a complete oversight to overlook.
Women should start with 4/6/7/4/2/8 and the 8 is because of their looks alone, then they get maybe 5 points to spend because women shouldnt leave the house.
Plus if you wanted to have male stats yet retain female appearance, you can just be trans.
It's the best system as it allows more flexibly whilst not impacting the visual aesthetics of any character.
This but if you play trans you get doxxed and the Ganker-appointed government neutralizes you in the name of our race and our leader, me.
Then women need to be considered diminutive for purposes of strength calculations.
Wrong. Women should just get AoO'd into being raped whenever they use a weapon, because if you even consider the idea of a woman fighting there's something seriously wrong with your brain and your culture.
Again, this is why you go with the troony meta.
Nobody wants to frick you.
troony players kys in real life.
Kys troony redditors ywnbaw
But what if they're like fat, old, and/or ugly? Eww.
Better to treat them as diminutive like a gnome, goblin, or halfling. Think about it a fully grown human woman should be about as strong as a gnome, or halfling man, they're the size of children. Just always treat women as one size category smaller than their male counterparts for purposes of strength calculations. Their punches are one size category smaller, their carry weight coefficient is one size category lower, and their combat manuver bonus is one size category lower.
Why do women get as many stat points as men despite being unfit for literally every category and skill since they are women and cant even survive without men and are nothing but a detachable reproductive organ?
you homies are autistic
and i say that
a dude with 900h in kingmaker
The only kind of person who would even consider the "fantasy" - more likely an incurable and terminal sociodisruptive mental illness - of changing from a male (a soldier ready to kill and die for the race, the nation and the leader) into a female (an entity required for the production of additional soldiets ready to kill and die for the race, the nation and the leader) is a fricking traitor and an enemy of this website and will be put in the gas chambers and shot and thrown out of the plane!
>when I could have my human caster permanently change himself into a gargangtuan sized dragon with fully working dragon reproductive organs
Riddle me this:
Let's say Aivu shapeshifts into a human girl and has passionate babymaking sex with human Azata.
Will their future child's default form be a human or a dragon? Is it going to switch between fetus and an egg, depending on Aivu's current shape?
What the frick does setting related magical anomalies have anything to do with having women as warriors all over the place?
Because magic is every and in everything. A warrior woman could have magic clothes that augment them, could be blessed by some random deity, or they simply had a great grandparent that fricked anything that move.
What Owlcat does with Pathfinder is very tame compared to what goes on with DnD. You'll see.
Were you also complaining about the numerous female companions in Baldur's Gate 20 years ago, and how around half the merc assassins sent after you are also fighting women?
Of course not, he wasn't alive then
Let's take a look at baldur's gate then. When game starts you only have imoen as a thief, not a huge sword swinging barbarian. Later in the same zone you encounter Xzar and Montaron who are both males a wizard and a fighter/thief. Say that you decided to visit candlekeep, there are Jaheira and Khalid, a female druid and a male fighter with heavy armor sword/shield. Nowhere in baldur's gate is your first impression is some woman in heavy plate armor or another one swinging an anime sword. BG doesn't take the same liberties that this game does.
that's a you problem mostly
Warrior companions in pathfinder games:
>Kingmaker Valerie armored knight, Amiri barbarian. Everyone else is caster or half caster, like Jaethal Inquisitor.
> Wrath has Seelah as a paldin, Camellia as a shaman with a noble light armored rapier style. The rest are bow fighters like Wendu and Arue
Wow, so many women warriors.
valerie is also based as hell
she agrees with me everytime i want to genocide lesser species, she's blonde, white, blue eyed, can fight
a dream woman
>b-but muh sex with no feelings with some friend in her past
yeah and? i did that too irl
but i'm a man so it doesn't count right?
Nah Valerie is a godless shitter.
You also fricked a dude in the past?
Gay.
i hate this language
if i was speaking in my native tongue you wouldn't have to ask this moronic question
of course it was a man
nah not really she's been a friend of mine for the past 7-8 years and we were both bored and lonely so we had this deal for a couple of months and then went back to normality
would not reccomment though, it's empty and pointless
This. Jesus christ that AP was so moronic that I had to rewrite like 80% of the material and completely remove a book's worth of content.
>Why won't the demons expect us to attack [Important place]
>"Because they're arrogant, they won't expect it."
Age of Worms and Rise of the Runelords was the only truly good modules paizo wrote. Everything else is mediocre to some degree.
also a favorite gripe
>Crusader empire that was literally the foundation of the most important chaos opposed faction
>Replaces them with a literally who not-america faction complete with troons and nogs because the former isn't politically appropriate in the era
>Reign of Winter
No fricking thanks, frick off with that trash. I hope they never adapt that shit.
You can take Ascendent Element to make an element of your choice bypass all DR but yes, between spell resistance and DRs most offensive magic is a waste until you've fully built into it in the late game, and even then it's probably not as good as just going all in on buffs and hitting someone a dozen times in the face per round.
Just make a kineticist.
Ascendant element makes pure elemental builds perfectly usable. Some of the most effective builds use the salamander ring for fire or the "everything is lightning" bracers for lightning damage.
It's demons, they have massive immunities and resistence lists, but in this campaign you're fighting thrm 99 % of the time. If you want to be a spellcaster you either have to take all spell pen traits or stick to the spells that don't check for spell resistance.
A lot of the classes aren't very fun because of absurd resistances or absurd AC. Its a shame. You can "get around" the former by turning it off effectively, eventually, but that just means the game is 0 fricking fun until then. the AC shit just can't be fixed at all.
Because you're playing children's dnd
>want to cast a spell
>limited number of uses per day
>still has cast time
>armor gives spell failure chance
>enemies have resistance
>enemies have immunity
>to confirm debuffs you have to bypass resistance
>AoE has friendly fire
>meanwhile melee chads have unlimited use abilities, aoe damage, more than one attack per turn, can use armor, can apply debuffs on simple attacks, get upgrades from their weapons, accessories and armor.
>Martial "Chad" moves 1cm
>Can only Vital Strike now
Hope you levelled it up!
Turns out that TTRPG mechanics are absolutely terrible if they aren't manually adjusted by a GM so the group can have somewhat engaging encounters.
Especially if the rules are as much of a clusterfrick as pathfinder.
And now they are making a rogue trader game, i dread the implementation of the perils of the warp mechanic
Some parts of the Dark Heresy ruleset always felt to me like they where created with the use of automated tables in mind already.
The critical hit stuff and it's consequences and the very detailed combat mechanics are something I found rather burdening when trying to play it with my group. Especially when not everyone has studied the combat down to a T. I discarded it for a easier system very soon.
But as you say the perils of the warp table is something with a lot more freedom for the GM to interpret so I guess they will either scrap most of it or have to come up with some new interpretations that work on their engine without too much individual work.
Any other games like this? I really liked wotr
Pathfinder Kingmaker
I just recently started a new game. Never finished it last time and its been updated a lot since then. I realised back when I played Kingmaker that they key to enjoying these games to the fullest is binning off all companions and making your own. In Kingmaker I had an all Dwarf party that was pretty fun. I'm going for a religious theme in Wrath. So far it's just my Monk PC and a Warpriest. Obviously will need a Cleric and Paladin, but I'm not sure what else. Inquisitor maybe?
The companions are fairly good in WOTR. They're way more optimized than Kingmaker's companions and work very well on Core difficulty.
It's not their mechanical capability I had a problem with, just that they're all insufferable.
Divine hound inquisitor
If you want max power level you should get either a bard or a skald on your party. If you don't have spellcasters then go with Skald.
also, any class that gets access to full animal companion is overpowered, especially if they can get Dog or Wolf since they are the objectively best mounts in the game once they hit large size at level 7, so like this anon said
Mounts are overpowered because the enemies AI can not directly target mounted characters for attacks, only attack of opportunity and AOE spells. Dog is the best mount because it's attack auto-trips, which gives you free attacks of opportunity. Combined with Outflank on the rider and the dog (all melee characters should have Outflank, without except. it is the best feat in the game) you can do dozens of attack of opportunity every round. Crazy shit.
im the opposite. i need a party to keep me engage into the story and what's happening in the world. otherwise, it just feels flat and empty.
>The game uses pathfinder, the worst d&d system
Why?
The worst D&D system was 4e followed closely by 5e, the best was 3.5/Pathfinder followed by AD&D.
>followed by AD&D.
I feel like people who like and defend ad&d, never even played it
ad&d was a massive improvement on chainmail/early d&d, which was followed by the improvement of 3/3.5 followed by the total crapfest that was 4th.
also, your comma is wrong.
you see why AD&D is held in high regard?
I did not say it was followed closely, but I'll still take AD&D over original D&D, 4e, or 5e anyday.
Well, when you put it like that...
I still say that 5e is better than ad&d game rules wise though
5e is good enough to play irl. Not for a videogame I guess
The reason 5e is good enough irl is cause you can houserule and homebrew the shit out of it to fix issues.
>play Solasta as my first 5e game
>shit seems similar enough, is kinda fun
>wait why can't I use more than one buff
>find out about Concentration
I HATE CONCENTRATION I HATE CONCENTRATION I HATE CONCENTRATION I HATE CONCENTRATION I HATE CONCENTRATION
Unironically better than having to stack 300 buffs prefight like in pathfinder.
It's OK for some classes, and Wrath did go overboard with prebuffing. But it fricking SUCKS on a lot of classes too. Ranger basically only gets concentration spells and for the most part your basic ass level 1 damage increasing spell (which ALSO requires concentration) will be the only thing you ever use because you're essentially limited to one ability at a time. And shit fricking sucks.
>play lower difficulty
>meta autism goes away
It's ok. Girls won't think less of you for playing difficulties below core in your 130 hour single player crpg
If you weren't autistic you wouldn't be playing a WRPG in the first place.
this but unironically. Playing on normal and fights can still be difficult because I built my characters like a moron
Core is easy difficulty.
This doesn't change the enemies inflated stats it just modifies the outgoing damage. If you decide to play a non-meta build owlcat arbitrarily decided shouldn't be viable you're still going to feel like a wet noodle compared to Generic McFighterDude in your party.
>Not playing on hardest
You didn't beat the game
i focus more on roleplaying a character i i wanna play as rather than the difficulty.
>game is about fighting demons
>"I better make a poison build"
moron traps are put into games on purpose and you fell into one.
What's the purpose? To frick over anyone who isn't a smelly monkdipper turboautist?
Demons being immune to poison is supposed to be intuitive? I've every major cRPG from the last 25 years and I wasn't aware of that.
I get why Demons are immune to fire being from the fiery pits of hell and all but why the frick did they make every Demons immune to lightning, poison, acid, and cold as well? Was it so everyone who wanted to use elemental damage in this game had to waste their first mythic feat on ascendant element? Fricking why? Why railroad all character choice like that?
They're demons lmao.
And what part of demons make them immune to all elemental damage? I get fire, demons live in fiery pits, it makes sense that they'd be adapting to living in fiery pits by being immune to fire, but why are they also immune to everything else?
It's just so that they are a tougher enemy to face. Problem is, WoTR throws face first into them from the beginning.
>from the fiery pits of hell
Demons come from the Abyss, Devils come from Hell you secondary.
Nobody cares, pathfinder is a shit setting we're forced to play because DnD isnt getting any good games
>pathfinder is a shit setting we're forced to play because DnD isnt getting any good games
Literally the same lore in forgotten realms, you secondary.
https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Demon
https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Abyss
https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Devil
https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Nine_Hells
>contemporary DnD
lol, lmao even
This shit has been part of forgotten realms lore for well over 2 decades, you secondary.
I unironically use old lore and expansiobs with planescape sprinkled in. But really, WotR is a terrible campaign in the sense that it flaunts the terrible lore. Even worse Pathfinder goddesses and changes from DnD make it worse. Current DnD is shit, Pathfinder even worse.
Is there any way to play this game without all the woke shit?
Yes, playing the game.
But the game is full of homosexuals, blacks, trannies and women.
I don't want to endure those things.
Take your meds.
I have started the game.
One of the first things that I encountered was a Black person paladin and a troony.
I'm asking how I avoid these disgusting things.
>I have started the game.
>One of the first things that I encountered was a Black person paladin and a troony.
>troony
You do not know that until endgame.
His avatar literally has an adam's apple.
Just checked ingame and I'm not seeing it. Feel free to point it out if you want.
It isn't, which you would know had you played the game.
Stop listening to people who tell you that something is full of stuff you hate, they are just trying to manipulate you for their own selfish gain, and they ususally don't even care about the things they tell you to be scared about.
Start being a man and find out yourself, or are you afraid that exposing yourself to the existence of gays is infectuous?
>homosexuals
you would have to engage in homosexualry to find out if someone was a homosexual, homosexual
outside of the weird lesbian duo nobody mentions their sexuality
>blacks
true
>trannies
the only troony goes out of its way to never disclose that fact and only after you pester it nonstop and pass a ridiculous speech check would you find out its an abomination
you would have to go specifically looking for a troony, troony
>women
yes, its awful
>Never disclose
>Looks like this
Yeah, you're right dude. No possible way you could tell this guy is a troony unless you ask him.
which is funny because he's supposed to be a magical troony, but I guess even magic can't make him a real woman
That is all irrelevant you pozzed redditor trannies. This setting is absolute trash and the game is inexcusable anti-white israeli and atheist propaganda.
I would make the game just kill you at the Wardstone unless you were a faithful Iomedae worshipper. If you are a faithful Iomedae worshipper instead of activating your evil mythic powers you can PRAY to Iomedae, the Messenger of Jesus Christ on Golarion. Like a Beautiful Saint she strikes down from Heaven and instantly slays Minagho and all traitors. Then act 2 begins and you command the most advanced powerful supersoldier force of paladin humans in the history of the world. Within a day you take Drezen in the name of God. Within the next day you eradicate all Demons from sarkoris, then proceed to eradicate the Abyssal planes. The Will of God makes it possible and the Crusade is completely perfect in its operation because of its holyness. Then you strike at the Worldwound, close it, and you use portals to send the entire Host of God and the Messenger Iomedae to Earth where by the Word, the Sword and the Holy Flame all the PATHETIC atheists and satanic israelites learn of the Wrath of the Righteous! Fear the end unbelievers and heretics for the Lawful Good alignment has come to save Humanity and deliver us from Evil! DORIME
>game is inexcusable anti-white israeli and atheist propaganda
:laughingcryingemoji:
Well, that sounds like Kenshi, and Kenshi is fricking amazing, so, yeah, I'd be down.
>the game is inexcusable anti-white israeli and atheist propaganda.
dude its a game where i roll dice and things happen
you Black folk take everything way too serious
>Its a polBlack person melt down episode
go back tourist, no one here likes you.
This is should be an option in the game called "wrath of the righteus". Instead we got the lgbt bestiality (human + orc) during the first hour or so
Just install Toybox and play a cleric
>the only troony goes out of its way to never disclose that fact and only after you pester it nonstop and pass a ridiculous speech check would you find out its an abomination
>you would have to go specifically looking for a troony, troony
Wait, who?
Avenia.
Well I'll be damned
and there's no way to find out unless you pester anevia for the entire game or wait for a Gankerirgin to tell you
see! people don't even fricking know about that
i sure as hell didn't when i played it
The only reason I know about it is people screaming like lunatics here. Just as bad as the people they're screaming about.
Would have just thought she was a make a wish kid or something.
if only there was something immediately obvious that lets poisons work. hmmmm if only.
i monk dipped
for the first time
i feel so dirty
just use toybox to give yourself the feats/abilities a monk dip would give you if dipping hurts you so much.
I'm sorry, but what you did was actually suboptimal.
Pets will always be better tanks than your multi dip monstrosities, since they also retain high HP, CC, high APR, damage and saves even at low levels with higher AC than what you could get too at ZERO investment while being a side feature from your actual character.
I'm going 5/10/5 Freebooter/Student of War/Duelist. It sounds fun using intelligence instead of dex for everything is this still doable in core?
ask /pwrg/ on vg
>you will never see desna backhand iomedae into submission after 4 acts of proving that my azata did more for the crusade in 2 years than the queen ever did in 100
life is pain
Considering Arueshalae is her ward it seems odd that Desna doesn't pop in to the Azata path to tell Iomadae off.
Desna is generally cuck and doesn't care what decisions her followers make. It's literally entire religion about never taking responsibility for actions of others, even if they are your direct subordinates.
>desna is generally cuck
>A vengeful Desna killed the demon lord Aolar, known as the Lady of the Hunt, and destroyed her Abyssal fortress in 4155 AR[11] after the Lady of the Hunt took control of the body of a recently deceased Desnan priestess to wreak death on the priestess' loved ones. This possession of heroes just after their deaths was Aolar's penchant, especially when the dead person's soul could witness the suffering caused.
And this shit always killed all her followers and destroyed mortal world, if others gods didn't saved desna's ass
Also
>reading comprehension
While also leaving alone the evil plague spreading, nightmare spewing demigod she accidentally released
>Desna is generally cuck and doesn't care what decisions her followers make.
Uh huh, then explain what she did to Arue again? Demoness comes in fricks with one of her prietesses and Desna decides to mind rape her into being a good girl. Desna doesn't frick around with those her frick with her or her flock. She might be all about free love and free spirits "living their best life" without regrets but she's vengeful as all hell and doesn't give a frick about the rules or the balance of powers.
Tell me what Desna does if you help Arue to fall back into demonhood? Nothing
You can also kill all desna priests for being morons, and she does nothing
the only godess that does something worthwile if you frick up is pharasmah if you go lich while being her worshipper
so it's not exactly a fair point
and desna protects arue from death unless you are in the abyss, and we all know why desna isn't "allowed" in the abyss anymore
Urgathoa also directly intervenes when Pharasma sends her Herald after you in Lich Path, but that quest's trigger has been bugged as frick since release.
>the only godess that does something worthwile if you frick up is pharasmah if you go lich while being her worshipper
Does Noc sitting on your face if you're a good little demon count?
yes and no
she's not a godess yet
I mean, Desna probably would be pissed about all of that but you can't have the gods frick with the MC too much.
iomedae deserves to get stripped of her powers, i seriously don't understand why this pompous b***h is still allowed to run things
the powers are beyond worth it
>i seriously don't understand why this pompous b***h is still allowed to run things
>god who canonically planned and single handily defeated 2 demon lords with their traitor witch, and closed worldwound
Maybe because you moronic
uh oh bowlcut toot simp melty
iomedae has the most moronic followers, hulrun and galfrey
yes
good god
yes
have you ever blasted a room apart with a double empowered chain lightning?
you can even recover all slots of lvl 7 and below with an azata spell
and ode to miracolous magic is fricking ridicolous for a lvl 2 spell
But angel is a much better experience
Being a hippie in what's supposed to be a high stakes war is so weird
yeah sure angel is a great experience, no doubt, my angel oracle was beyond busted
but azata feels much more versatile, you can do everything with it, a magus or skald azata will shine like a diamond
Azata is in no way comparable in power to a merged Angel or Lich, casting or melee wise, but that is sadly the case with all Mythics since they are already a full power just at Chapter 3 instead of having to wait dozens of hours for M7-9 except by then you're at end game.
Azata however is very solid, especially for CC casters and Favorable Magic just at M4 is a MASSIVE boost to your power, especially as it is a permanent passive instead of Demoncuck's extremely limited use/days Rage.
Azata's spellbook is also quite potent buffs wise, and Believe in Yourself alone is absurdly overpowered and you can even combine it with Zippy Magic later on for 2x characters at once.
>iomedae has the most moronic followers, hulrun
You mean guy who was right about literally everything
>Was right at the start of game about demonic spies possible infiltrating city during festival
>Was right about you being suspicious tard(you literally tool of witch)
>Was right about demon cultists in catacombs
>Was right about desna priests trying to frick with worldstone and being suspicious bunch in general(they literally doomed city because of muh politics and wanting to btfo Hulrun, instead of just talking with dragon about possibility of stone being corrupted)
>Literally the only person who's suspicious of camic**t
No wonder you so mad about Iomedae being chad god
I actually never checked what Calistria does if you try to be forgiving desna like cuck. I know she sends particle effects every time you take revenge on people who backstabbed you
good lord imagine being such a braindead simp that you defend the followers of ms toot
>the powers are beyond worth it
Are they really worth a lamer plot?
Yes because Azata is fun to play. Also Azata is at least top 5. Its way better a story than Devil, Swarm, Dragon, Lich, or Trickster.
The other 4 I'll give you but Lich is good. I don't know why everyone hates on the lich's story but I thought it was easily one of the best paths in the game.
I think because of the master/student dynamic and the fact that you aren't as in control as you want to be until later. The abilities are fun as frick though.
>azata
Shame it's so lame compared to the other mythic paths
It sounds kind of shit but on core i think it's still pretty doable.
Student of war and duelist are both pretty mediocre, there's a weapon that has int for hit and dam but i'm not sure if it works with duelist.
Thanks for the feedback. It's very feat heavy this one but I ran grenadier in the last game so a simplish melee with a bunch of prestige sounds like good fun.
A bit of a missed opportunity that the other gods don't give their input when Iomedae decides to show up to whine to you about your powers. Like, I get she's the goddess of the crusade, but would have been cool to see someone like Sarenrae tell her to chill when you're the full representation of their domain.
Gods generally more than capable to give mythic powers to people if they think it's needed, no one is moronic enough to let potential demon bomb run around.
All the other "good" gods would likely agree with Iomedae because your powers are unnatural, unearned, and part of some plot of Areelu Vorlesh's design.
Is there a bigger pile of shit than pathfinder series? How is this game failing at the most basic roleplay element, the class? You simply can't pick up the class you want to play, (Conjurer/Summoner, weapon/shield warrior etc.) and make a build that works. It always involves dipping into fricking clown ass classes and literally butcher the character you want to play as, cause your char without the build just won't work.
Wrong.
On literally every difficulty except Unfair you can make single-classed builds work just fine as long as you're not terminally moronic. And even on Unfair most caster builds still work single-classed.
Both of you missed the point roleplaying. The pure build you're suggesting may be a paladin, what happens when you don't want to play a lawful character or some other lame sub-class? What happens when you just want to play as a fighter? As far as tanking is concerned you need to dip into other classes for dodge bonuses and ignore strength as dodging has become the tanking. In fact not wearing armor and making a monk makes for a better dodge based tank but it also involves a lawful alignment. Either way you can't roleplay according to your choice of alignment and play a functional basic class without knowing a lot about illogical mechanics of the game.
Yes you can, because none of that matters on normal. You don't need a massively optimised party if you aren't playing on harder difficulties. A heavy armour tank is sub-optimal but will be totally fine on lower difficulty modes.
No if you don't optimize your builds your chars will fail at even normal difficulty.
man i started a new playthrough of the escape from kenabres dlc and im literally managing only my own character
i haven't created myself not a single other guy, just took what game gave me and didn't intervened with their level ups
sure its challenging on normal but its not impossible
There's a middle point between optimising and picking feats at random. Any vaguely sensible build will do absolutely fine on normal. As long as you're consistently picking stuff that makes the number relevant for your character go up, whether that's AC, attack bonus or crit range, you'll be fine.
You're wrong and shit, i play on core and first finished the game as pure master-of-all, a bad rogue subclass.
You can play the game on normal as any single class and do fine.
That's a lie. You still need to check up builds as nothing is following common sense.
Pic related done with master-of-all.
Also playful darkness and every other optional boss, maybe you're just especially shit because I've never needed to splash monk or do anything min/mix like that.
post webm of you killing it
Let me give you a few pointers since you seem to be probed with pathfinder achievement messages. Here are a few optimal build options, which are concerning for roleplaying purposes..
-Melee Sorcerer
>sorcerer
Starts as level 1 monk. Takes 4 levels of sorcerer. 8 points of dragon disciple. 10 levels of eldritch knight. 4 levels of loremaster. 1 level of Ranger. 1 level of hellknight and 11 levels of paladin.
This is apparently a really optimal build in pathfinder Every other optimal build takes a similar approach, it's in the game design. So where's the actual functional basic class in this game? No, unless you create a monstrosity build like that, your build will always be sub optimal.
>1 monk. Takes 4 levels of sorcerer. 8 points of dragon disciple. 10 levels of eldritch knight. 4 levels of loremaster
all those fit thematically except monk which you can just skip
>few pointers
where
>e a few
where
did you forget half your post
>apparently
so you're just aping what others said but think he's confused or something?
>where
Are you hopping up and down like a chimp on your chair while typing like that?
where
Since you are a moron looking up things you do not get:
1) This is a build for legend specifically, one of the 10 mythic paths available
2) This is optimal only if you want to make a melee capable sorcerer with good ac. A spell damage or CC caster sorcerer would stay pure or at most pick the loremaster prestige class
So yes, to make the best sorcerer based MARTIAL character, you need to do weird things. Using a sorcerer to CAST magic? Stay pure.
Weird, i must be super good at the game because i didn't on core which is what was being talked about you absolute mong.
You're whining about how hard the game is and saying it can't be done without a build that only a tiny minority of people playing on unfair even play.
A lich pure sorcerer on launch can finish the game easily on Core without ever optimizing for anything
Grease and sirocco are still broken
>This is apparently a really optimal build in pathfinder
I'm sorry but you have no idea what you are talking about.
Delaying the spellcasting progression of a Sorcerer, which ALREADY learns spells one level later than Wizard, by having a completely useless Monk dip at level 1 is build suicide.
If you want to play a melee sorcerer, all you have to do is simply get Martial Prof at level 1 for a reach weapon like a Glaive or Bardiche, then cast Grease, knock enemies down, and benefit both from the -4 to melee AC prone enemies will get, together with the extra free attack when they get up.
You would also still be able to cast Enlarge on yourself still at level 1.
For the later levels, you have enough roided out buffs to easily make up for your lower BAB progression, including other ways to overcome that through let's say Loremaster, which will not delay spellcasting progression, and can give you stuff such as Shatter Defenses for flat footed AC or Opportunist for an extra APR.
froggy is one of the biggest morons here, his builds are almost always "it only gets good at end game" tier bullshit of Weird spam DC when roided out auto attack parties are vastly easier with way less setup even on Unfair.
He is obssessed with DC characters that take forever to develop and abuses obvious exploits like Touch of Law to force enemies to roll lower on their saves when that is explicitely meant to work on allies only.
Or copious dipping for useless tanking when a pet would do the job far better at ZERO cost to your actual characters.
Enjoy that quickload as usual, froggy.
you're even worse than the frog, at least he's entertaining you just suck
Feel free to come back with actual counter arguments gameplay wise.
>what happens when you don't want to play a lawful character
then you don't fricking play one of the only TWO classes that is actually limited to Lawful.
>What happens when you just want to play as a fighter? As far as tanking is concerned you need to dip into other classes for dodge bonuses and ignore strength as dodging has become the tanking.
You just get a 2H reach weapon and have the buffbot caster use a size spell on yourself, attack from the other side of the screen and laugh as the enemies never target you while having 20 AC even on Unfair endgame and never getting damaged in melee.
>b-b-b-but what if I wanted a Longsword
Even with just Enlarge Person, a Longsword with still get enough reach to avoid most hits if you send your actual tank ahead, and later with Legendary Proportions it's even more.
It's a matter of knowing how to benefit from the game's mechanics and gameplay.
Even if you wanted to play a pure heavy armor tank on Unfair you'd still have MULTIPLE other defensive layers than AC to make up for it: Concealment, Temporary HP, DR, Protective Luck Hex.
Why are you keep talking about enlarge person? I'm not talking about the dps fighter. I'm talking about the tank. If you decide to make a strength based tank it's sub optimal. Every stage of the game becomes a fricking pain since game is designed around dex dodging.
>what happens when you don't want to play a lawful character or some other lame sub-class? What happens when you just want to play as a fighter?
Why the frick would you play a Paladin if you want to play a non-lawful Fighter? Just pick the fricking Fighter class you absolute moron.
>B-but I literally can't win a single fight even on normal difficulty unless I play a hyper optimized build!
Stop playing video games, you clearly don't have the mental capacity for anything harder than Tic Tac Toe.
Lmao. Game is supposed to be an RP game, and you can't RP as your class because from the 2nd level onward everything is diphomosexualry. Your post is discarded.
Meanwhile, 20th level paladin one turn killing the final bosses on hard.
What makes you think I want to play a fricking paladin?
Just illustrating a pure 20 level build winning on hard, anon.
There are like a dozen archetypes out of 150+ I would suggest not playing pure on core and above. mostly because it's tedious/not fun rather than non-viable
No you illustrated one class alignment restricted to lawful good.
Go Fighter or Ranger then.
I did both.
Anyway, you want to see how a cavalier performs?
Maybe an Aldori defender?
>Riding a horse in a dungeon with a halo on your head
Lmao. I really did wake up to an anime. What's the basic class that functions on par with other builds that allows you to RP? Far as I know aldori defender dip into other classes and is dex based.
Which anime has angels on horseback smiting demons?
Anyway, you do not dip with Aldori defender.
You play pure or you go into the prestige classes (swordlord or duelist). Please do not say prestige classes are the same as dipping, don't be that moronic.
But it is indeed meant to be a dex fighter
Fighter. You drink your potion and start swinging.
Aldori defender isnt even a class. Like armiger, it's an entrypoint into its prestige class, aldori swordlord.
Pick any class but rogue (except ES).
Go 20.
Win the game up to core.
Done
mutation warrior is pretty moronic strong
>Galfrey in the party
Funny thing is that since I won initiative and killed in one turn, she did not even have the chance to do her +15 Mark of justice.
That's only true if you're playing a melee character on Unfair difficulty. If you're not on Unfair, or you're playing something that doesn't need to be in melee, there's rarely a good reason to dip at all.
Stop thinking Fextralife's moronic builds with 7 different classes are the only way to play and try using your own brain for once in your life.
You don't have to dip. There's a lot of classes that are meta by themselves. And that's without the mythics buffing the frick out of you.
I am curious how this moron tried to play the game and got filtered even on normal
>Abloobloo, why does my 12 strength, 12 dex, 20 con, 18 charisma fighter not hit anything?
Sounds like roleplaying to me
>I am a fighter, I fight! That is my character
>Hello Jimmy Fighter, I am a monk, would you like me to teach you a portion of our martial arts? I think it would help you dodge and stay nimble in a fight
>No thank you for I am a fighter, I fight! I will focus entirely and purely on this
>Jimmy Fighter never learns to dodge but can swing his sword slightly more accurately
Character -> character makes choice -> choice has consequence
Roleplay!
Because it's not like that at all unless you specifically put the game on Unfair despite the game warning you not to do it.
> always involves dipping into fricking clown ass classes and literally butcher the character you want to play as
Dipping is actually overwhelming detrimental and suboptimal, even in some martial classes since delaying main ability progression in a game with just 20 levels is loathsome to play as.
The morons that dip when playing casting classes for example are the worst and you can tell they legit never played the game because delaying spellcasting progression is one of the most moronic things you could possibly do, and AC in reality means NOTHING unless your character is directly tanking themselves, something that is easily replaced by reach, size + reach and riding pets.
>The morons that dip when playing casting classes for example are the worst and you can tell they legit never played the game because delaying spellcasting progression is one of the most moronic things you could possibly do
I dipped Harrim into a thug, made him a dedicated party disploomer, and it was abdolutely glorious. Though it was a bit illegal, because CotW allowed him to have an extra skill point from the favored class.
Specializing in poison isn't even the bad part. The bad part is that there's a way to bypass almost every kind of immunity, but not poison. Literally all they had to do was allow you to use Ascended Element to bypass poison immunity.
>Paladin sells her family heirloom holy sword to bankroll the mtf troonsition
That pre-op dick was pretty good.
her father would still be proud.
Is the new Demon story become Nocticula archpriest something good? Can i be a chaotic good Demon?
No, demons are always chaotic evil, it's their nature
Just like cucks are always neutral good and chaotic good
That lame, i want to be Doomguy but i don't want to be hurrdurr me devil, mistress Noc pls reward me
evil*
You can tell Noc to frick off instead, which I love as a route. Full on angry baby mode, where you just keep REEEEEing at beings you're not even close to being on the level of at this point in the story, who just have to sort of sigh and go "jesus alright calm down" and give in to your screeching because you're still important to their plans and the alternative is killing you.
Whoever thought it was a good idea to include their dogshit puzzles in this game needs to be sent to the Ukrainian frontline so he can get his balls chopped and fed to him.
Frick you, dev, eat shit
c'mon they weren't that hard
They're annoying as frick and not fun at all
No one actually solved any of those domino puzzles outside trial and error. The puzzle makes no sense and there is no logic behind it. You either look up the solution on your phone, or you just place tablets down until it works. The first person who posted the solutions admitted he had no idea how you were supposed to arrive at the answers he just used cheat engine to look if all the checks in were coming back as 1 or 0s until he had all the pieces in the correct place. No one has actually written out a comprehensive guide to how they work either or how you're supposed to arrive at the solutions, they just post the same solutions a guy with cheat engine came up with.
they are dominos my man
its not that hard
Explain what they are if you're so fricking start, it'd be great to know what the frick I've been ignoring since release.
It's simple. Open Toybox, search Areahkigal, teleport to final fighting. The end.
regular temples are literally dominos where you have to place all the pieces so they match with each other
and the Egypt place were just laser rotation puzzle
Thanks for admitting you have no idea how it works then.
i have beaten them
blind
dude you cheated, ok, i don't care
but that doesn't mean everyone else do it too
>still can't explain how it works
>incorrectly claims its "just dominos" again rather than understanding how it works
wrong, didn't play the game, and can't solve the puzzle.
it literally is
you just need to match the fricking pictures
To be fair, the puzzle is shit, but not for being obscure or being fricking dominos, it's because the controls are fricking annoying and shit and placing them kinda sucks. Considering how often this fricking puzzle repeats, they should just have made its own inteface for this shit.
>no indication on how to start matching them
>dude just match them
>match them in the wrong order according to the game
>nooooo you have to match them like this picture
>why, why did you start with that symbol instead of any of the others, there is a nearly infinate combination of ways to match them
>ummm I dunno I looked up the answer
every fricking time, you're embarrassing yourself moron.
>>no indication on how to start matching them
there's unmoveable symbols on the sides
you have to go from them
dude im sorry that you are a brainlet or lack patients
i really do
but getting angry about that not gonna help
Anon, you count how many of a symbol there are. Then you count how many connectors there have to be on every intersect. Then you look at the fixed rim pieces and decide by process of elimination which dominoes go where.
It's not hard I did all 4 dominoes on my last playthrough. It's the water puzzle that makes no fricking sense.
>there's unmoveable symbols on the sides you have to go from them
And in infinite possible combination of solutions, yet only one of them the game deems correct, which you looked up and pretended like you got it right
>decide by process of elimination which dominoes go where.
IE. I looked up the answer online and pretended I figured it you
Yet again proving you have no idea how to solve it just like everyone else.
i cant be even angry at you anon
you'll get it some day
just don't be so angry
Not him but this section here is how you start it and the rest of it comes from that little bit there.
With the side pieces that aren't shown in the picture you can figure at that this part of it has to be like this and from there it's just a matter of working out the rest.
People don't just randomly slot them in until they get lucky, there's a way to play it.
Wrong, its actually this part over here, its cut off in the picture.
There's another one of those side pieces m8, bottom left edge and that's where you need to start.
I don't think you can start from the right and work your way back without it being mostly guesswork, not that i can figure anyway but haven't played dominoes since i was a kid.
Black person it's just the game 'dominoes'
you know real dominoes have those symbols at the end for a reason right? they aren't just made to be stacked up and knocked down in a line right?
They are not hard, but the godawful symbols they chose makes them 10 times more annoying. I had to open and close the window like 10 times each time I wanted to place a slab because I couldn't figure out what symbol I needed
my autistic fox wife... (human form)
Nenio is a fricking moron, and not in an endearing way like Ember
I'd frick the moron out of her.
Well, that's what friends do
Ember stopped being endearing very fast to me because of her mary sue armor, while foxgirl sometimes genuinely got a chuckle from me with her shit
>walks up to demon lord
>cries and sniffles
>doesn't elaborate
>leaves
so cute
less cute when you realize she's not a 13 year old girl (in elf years) but actually a fully grown 35 year old woman (in elf years) who is just flat out insane. Seeing adults act like children isn't cute, it depraved and degenerate.
she's a teenager in elf years, and a bit moronic
im sitting here bored out of my ass looking at the game and then i remember toybox has "those" fun settings
should i do it bros?
should i tune up the difficulty to brutal unfair?
should i purposely take roleplaying builds?
should i make my companions actual myths?
would a full party of mythical paths do well against the worst the game can throw?
I play on easy and maximize all my stats with cheat engine. I play primarily for Choice & Consequence, story and character interactions.
Will I enjoy this game? (I did enjoy kingmaker, specifically the kingdom management which I thought was brilliant)
Dunno what kind of stories you like, so no. But if you liked kingmaker, a decent chance
you don't need to maximize stats if you play on easy, the game is pretty much on autoplay at that point
just pick a gendarme cavalier and watch him melt things faster than any other class
this game has plenty of choices and far reaching consequences, you'll enjoy it
just ignore poltroon
he is insane
dips are gay
just play pure classes or proper 10/10 multiclass
is immune to poison
In Pathfinder, it is possible to literally spend almost every feat you have investing into your Combat Maneuver Bonus for a specific maneuver such as Trip, making it so that you are mechanically specifically built to be able to trip things.
However, no matter how good your stats are, and how lucky you are with rolls, even with literally every feat in the game and every magical buff possible, there is still a finite cap as to what your Trip CMB bonus can possibly be at what level. It's something like +50ish at level 20. It doesn't really matter, the point is there is a mechanical upper limit.
The problem, is that enemy stats are not capped in any way. And somewhere around level 13-15, statistically every monster in the game begins to pull away from the player as far as their CMD goes. Also, you're getting to levels where tons of enemies are immune to something like Trip because they have wings, they just have magical innate flying, or they have too many legs. Or they're just too fricking strong/fast that you literally cannot beat their CMD despite spending every feat and point possible in it.
There is an actual point in that game where you are literally incapable of using an ability you've spent every possible resource on improving, on any enemy that you can face. They've just naturally outstripped your ability to roll above their CMD value.
That's how Pathfinder is.
>first 2 hours of the game
>black woman paladin
>dyke NPC
>her dyke half-orc wife
>all the men that join you in the first 2 Acts (except the Based Gnome) are massive homosexuals, because the writer (that was fired) didn't wanted to promote toxic masculinity strong archetypes
>all females are strong, resolute and can do absolutely no wrong and even as a Golden Dragon you just have to accept them with their obvious flaws
>really stupid endings
>roleplaying as your Mythic Path completely overshadows roleplaying as your Class
>dialogue openly preaches about the importance of tolerance in a fricking demon-raped lands
Who the frick writes this? Without Arueshalae, Regill and Greybor your entire party would've been insufferable.
I wish I could just look past the Woke Writing and enjoy something here, but the moment you start immersing yourself, you get slapped with some Commie bullshit.
openly preaches about the importance of tolerance in a fricking demon-raped lands
...what
>what dialogue Black person
>what dialogue
Maybe he's thinking of Ember whose whole thing is she does that but everyone thinks she's fricking crazy for exactly that reason.
>>all females are strong, resolute and can do absolutely no wrong
seelah constantly fricks up
galfrey constantly fricks up
anevia constantly fricks up
irabeth constantly fricks up
it's incredible how much you did not play the fricking game
>all the men that join you in the first 2 Acts (except the Based Gnome) are massive homosexuals
>he recruited wenduag instead of machinegun Lann
>dialogue openly preaches about the importance of tolerance in a fricking demon-raped lands
what dialogue Black person
what dialogue
>galfrey
i have no idea why they keep her as a queen
she is horrible ruler
lv 17 paladin is easier to keep alive as inspiring figurehead.
Too many politics even on the crusade
She's basically just a figurehead. Easier to unite people if you're ruled by the immortal waifu queen. But to be fair, most people seem to be fricking morons in WotR.
>she is horrible ruler
It's so fricking painful discussing this game with morons
To be fair the game is obsessed with shitting on her, and the crusade with no one ever being allowed to get the last word in defending their efforts, or make its critics concede on their complaints
>failed the crusade 4 times
>even with the help of the angels
>2 people that she assigns to you are traitor and dude with anger issues
>also adds her annoying relative for you to babysit as a joke
>we are on the world ending war btw
>removes you from the position because... uhhh....
imagine getting you removed from your position
yeah you have to tell her this is moronic
in original rules bastard sword is a 2hander but if you have exotic mastery you can 1h it
Ok, but then why can you wield a longsword one handed with just martial? Supposedly it's even longer than a bastard sword.
It's not
Longswords are 3 1/2 ft
Bastard Swords are 4ft
I was under the impression that bastard swords where between an arming sword and a longsword.
idk man
dnd did that years ago so PF just had to steal it
PF is just 3.5DnD under a new name. Wizards of the Coast realized their 3.5e DnD was too complicated and crunchy for the normies to ever really get into so they made the abysmal 4e which dumbed everything down for the smoothbrain normies, problem was not even the normies wanted to play it, but they kept pushing it regardless for years, thinking if we just keep releasing 4e you'll like it evetually. Paizo kept publishing new 3.5e content but they changed it just enough to be legally distinct and called it Pathfinder. Then after many years of getting their asses kicked Wizards of the Coast finally realized 4e was dogshit and not even the normies were going to like it and made 5e, which normies actually loved, so much so DnD is back on top again and bigger than it ever was, but the hardcores still wanted their crunchy dungeon crawling system with tons of rules which is why Pathfinder still exists today, then Paizo made Pathfinder 2e which was like trying to 5e-ify Pathfinder to get the normies into pathfinder since their shit is gay and dying except it pissed off the hardcores by simplifying things and didn't actually attract the normies so its pretty much just like the DnD 4e situation all over again except Paizo did it instead of Wizards this time, now Paizo is releasing all their PF 2e stuff as DnD5e compatible to try to save themselves, but no one actually likes Paizo's campaigns anyway, the people who still play pathfinder just want the crunchy rules heavy system they're used to.
i know i know
my first dnd was 3.5
we tried 5e but it was boring as frick
but i heard that PFe2 is more like morrowind in terms of level system where you dont have classes and just pick shit as you want
because D&D had the moronic idea to make bastard swords the midrange between longswords and greatswords when in reality it's supposed to be
>arming sword
>longsword
>hand and a half sword
>greatsword
>because... uhhh....
Too good at the job and she's afraid of you and bitter because she couldn't do jack shit.
Knowing owlcat, they more likely would want only adapt adventure path where they can force "kingdom" management system
So most obvious ones would be ironfang invasion with you managing resistance
Pirates with you managing ship(really don't want that adventure)
Ruins of Azlant with you managing colony
Jade Regent with you managing caravan
Really want carrion crown, but don't think we get it
>failed the crusade 4 times
She literally stopped demons at first crusade and won back shitton of lands, others yeah, but she wasn't in direct command at them
As expected, all complaints about Galfrey come back to "If an NPC is ever mean to me, they're bad" and "MY CHARACTER can win though, so obviously anyone could have!?"
>failed the crusade 4 times
It was practically unwinnable as was, the fact that she was as successful as she was is incredibly worthy. And the fact that she's able to bring such disparate causes and nations together around the cause, and make them work together around the cause is even more commendable.
>even with the help of the angels
(Against enemies that are the equivalent of angels, and the Angels only helped directly in the 1st Crusade)
>2 people that she assigns to you are traitor and dude with anger issues
She assigned you an entire army actually, as much of it as she could and gave you full and free reign over it. There's plenty of traitors around, that's part of the whole issue with demons.
>also adds her annoying relative for you to babysit as a joke
And tells you that you can get rid of him at any point if you so choose. He's not a millstone around your neck, if you don't want him there kick him out.
>removes you from the position because... uhhh....
You only get removed if you're a fricking moron and do moronic things with the absolute command she gives you.
>(Against enemies that are the equivalent of angels, and the Angels only helped directly in the 1st Crusade)
NTA but from lore it sounded more like they only joined in on the 2nd, when the Worldwound grew several times larger, and then at the end turned themselves into Wardstones to at least be able to keep protecting Crusader holdings, even if they could no longer attack in exchange, due to how hard Staunton's betrayal fricked them all over
Wenduag>Lann
Daeran is fricking great though.
Wendy/Lann can be endearing in smal doses.
If you dont like lawful Ember you are a homosexual.
>all females are strong, resolute and can do absolutely no wrong
Which ones? The queen, the troon and her orc girlfriend are all grossly incompetent and petty and the game doesn't hide this at all. Same with the paladin being a huge moron.
Really the only actual untouchable Mary Sue in this whole game is Ember
And Regill
Can't really argue but at least he's enjoyable
Yeah but you need to go waaay out of your way to get this ending. Instead of proving her wrong you have to intentionally frick it up to make it that way
I just don't see the point in going 20 Fighter other than maybe Mutation Warrior. What do you even do with all of those feats? Shield Bashing Dazzling Cleaver? Just pick Slayer if you want to right click
You can beef up your saves, get more teamwork feats, get cleaving finish line and vital strikes, etc.
Two handed warrior technically does more damage than mutt warrior too, but has less AB.
i did 20 level fighter in kingmaker
basically you i was abusing shield bash
had like 12 attacks a turn and shaken everyone when i kill anyone
if i wanted to min max i would grab 1 thug level but i decided to go with weapon mastery
having no confirmation rolls on crits is kind of amazing
>Really the only actual untouchable Mary Sue in this whole game is Ember
Based
Bully the elf
Reminder that EE added an ending were Wenduag burns down her orphanage
you know
i really like wenduag
and greybor kills wendog
God I love my spidermutt wife.
Ember a shit
Which classes struggle the most with pure 20? Rogue? Barbarian? Warpriest? Fighter?
>Fighter?
lmao no
barbarians however aren't the best
rouges by themselves are useless too
Barb can still hit like a truck.
but fighter can do it too
and has twice as much feats
Fighter is fine pure.
Its capstone ability is actually amazing.
The reaity is even on Unfair you don't need Demonslayer or Vivisectionist dips when a Cleric alone already provides like +30 to party wide AB for battles that matter.
Add a Paladin with Mark of Justice to the mix and you're never missing.
And for let's say the optional encounters on Unfair early game like Market Nabassu, Vrock, Succubus, Alchemist & Mimics etc. you can bet I'm not delaying my main class ability progression for the ~5 precious levels you have.
Rogue. Unless you are eldritch scoundrel to scale archmage armor, so at least you survive better
Even Rowdy wants to get some otehr martial classes.
Barbs have mad dog and instinctual warrior to justify full 20 at least, even on harder difficulties
Barb or Rogue since they're invalidated by Primalist and Slayer. Fighters still have their uses. I don't know shit about Warpriests.
Barb has instictual warrior and mad dog.
Rogue is good for multiclasisng (rowdy is amazing to get on top of standard finesse shit), but pure slayer is indeed better
Probably rogue, with mythic finesse being a thing and skillchecks being party wide it's kind of hard to justify playing one, not that you can't.
Also not much reason to take it to 20, more sneak attack is about all you get of worth once you've got the advanced talents you want.
Its not that they struggle but taking the monk dip makes just about any frontline melee better because it gets you unarmed strike (which saves you a feat for cranestyle later, huge AC bonus) and the AC bonus (which will be a major boost that'll grow with you the entire game as you increase your WIS/CHR) and is generally going to make you way more survivable. You're essentially trading your level 20 capstone ability, something you'll have for exactly 3 fights at the very end of the game, for survivability from as soon as you take the monk dip (might as well be your first or second level) until the very end of the game.
I'm playing Kingmaker right now and just got to the kingdom part, and I've suddenly lost all interest in the game. Is this normal? Does the game get better? Is WOTR better?
>Is this normal?
yes
>Does the game get better?
yes
>Is WOTR better?
yes
If you don't like it now I doubt you'll like it enough later to play it to the end. I loved the game and even I was seriously burnt out in the last 30%.
>want to play a GD EK
>find out Owlkek did not even enable the Half-Dragon form
>even though it exists and it works
>have to toybox it in back into the game
Holy frick they're so disgusting.
Don't forget the part where the Gold Dragon shape is the same as Dragonkind III which Lich Wizards get as early as Chapter 3.
It's embarassing, really.
You're all a bunch of trannies. have a nice day. Stop posting about these troony games in this troony genre. troony fantasy games are not games they are enemy actions and you are enemies. I will destroy you, and you will never be women and you will commit suicide and this website will defeat reddit!
I'm a troony girl in a troony world, do dooo doo, do dooo doo~
>Regill and Daeran shits on Hal for saving and trying to redeem cultists
>but babies and goes "uguu they don't deserve your mercy, baby girl" to Ember
Owlcat are hacks
>people can't have a soft spot
Ember has the mind of a child and you can guide her and change her mindset if you wish. Hal has no excuse.
Hal has the excuse of being literally better than everything because he's a gold dragon and therefore reality warps around to make sure his beliefs are the right ones. The only thing stronger than him is the Chaotic Good alignment which can literally turn the game into a different game because it's chaotic good.
Lawful good paladincucks arent even good people they cant simply stop evil with good they have to do all of the fighting nonsense whereas all I have to do is post a heart emoji <3 and there will never be evil or suffering again lol lmao!
regill doesn't baby anyone and daeran has daughter issues
>play cavalier
>go legend and get level 40
>mount is still capped at level 20
>level 20 mount constantly gets killed immediately in combat, knocking me on my ass because even though I'm tankier than it by order of magnitude, it still takes all the hits for me first.
>tfw when your primary class feature becomes useless
You know, the other mythics still have their pet cap at 20 and they work just fine for them
Maybe you should invest in buffing it? See this guy
All other mythics cap at lv 20 and their pet survives.
Maybe you just suck enormous ass?
The buffs, anon. Stack them.
Please take good care of Dog, Wolf, Triceratops, Boar and Elk.
Any pet can definitely hit enough AC even for Unfair late game especially when you consider Concealment + Mind Blank Communal now prevents even True Seeing from bypassing it.
>mount is still capped at level 20
You mean just like every other mythic path, who still keeps their mounts perfectly fine regardless?
other paths still got their mythic powers that can benefit their mounts.
>there are literally TWO "strong men" characters
>the rest, as hilarious as they can sometimes be, were clearly written with the famous "toxic masculinity" in mind
I never expected to say this, but I miss the Neverwinter Nights writing.
Then why is playing Demon even an option?
Classes not in the game, but one of them will be more likely added in next dlc wave
Core classes:
>All in
Base classes:
>Gunslinger
>Omdura
>Shifter
>Summoner
>Vampire Hunter
>Vigilante(never ever, especially not a magical girl)
Hybrid Classes:
Actually almost all are in except for
>Brawler
>Investigator
>Swashbuckler
Occult Classes
>Mesmerist
>Occultist
>Psychic
>Spiritualist
They honestly need to start completing classes instead of added more. Missing out on established class features isn't cool.
If only they would make a proper Summoner. They'd rake in money. Too bad they're moronic.
pathfidner summoner is less summoner than druids
Pick your Anevia
That wouldn't even make any sense when the Aeon PC is the biggest hyprocrite of them all and never judges themselves.
You get so autistic you judge literallywho peasants for lying once as if your Aeon never did that in their lifetime before going Judge Dredd.
Not to mention you were born a mortal too instead of an Aeon.
>Trickster realizes he's a character in a video game
>Breaks the game and allows all of his companions to choose any Feats they want when they retrain, even if they don't meet the requirements
Genius idea for a passive ability.
it means FRICK YOUR FUN GO MIN/MAX OR YOU DIE
>Valerie and Galfrey only have children in endings were you don't marry them
What did Owlcat mean by this?
That self inserters should kill themselves.
>Hero is actually the masterminded product of two strong females, the evil demon scientist and demon succubus prostitutelord
>the side of good is constantly bamboozled and incompetent unless you, the manufactured sleeper agent of evil, are in charge
>antitheism is the only power that can convert evil to good effectively
>the sacred subject of family is subverted to be a goal for the evil side while good is wrong
It's fricking bluepilled garbage of the highest order. I can come up with a better story in thirty seconds:
In His wisdom God created Demons for Man to Kill and thereby enact Lawful Good actions through the killing of Demons. The Demons and Scientists think themselves masterminds but secretly Gods plan has ensured their demise by the Sword and Holy fire of yourself and your Brother Champions. Together you and your Band of Brothers will eradicate all Demons so that Humanity can be closer to God, and then God shall reward you with more Evil creatures to slaughter. Based and redpilled is the Pathfinder of Wrath of The Righteous.
>20 2hand fighter/20 Armored Hulk Barbarian
>Legend
>CG
>Athiest
can it work?
Armored hulk is sorta useless.
go 20 2hand 20 deliverer
not a single spell
500000 damage
Sure, any 20/20 marital combination will work
yeah
2 martial classes going great
but you'll end up with so many feats so better start planning what to do with the
especially when 2h is less hungry builds
let him role play
so like some paths like gold dragon seem to be incredibly short shrift/ass. What goes well with Gold Dragon? Can I make a Dragonheir Fighter and have it not suck ass?
>Can I make a Dragonheir Fighter and have it not suck ass?
It will suck ass compared to other fighter options regardless, but sure.
Lizard or Spider?
cat/spider*
and yes her
lizard is a whiny b***h and a dude
so its double gay
One stays your lapdog the whole game, the other will constantly betray your ass and possibly leave forever unless you choose specific answers.
One will also die, or become a whiny seething b***h if you didn't force him to man up and confront his mommy, rather than making you talk to her
Lann
Spider b***h is annoying, and there no reason to trust demon slaves
why does slayer suck
It does not, unless you picked Imitator.
That one is a mistake.
Forget it exists
What does Imitator even do
it doesn't.
You can use 1 of 4 bonuses from different classes a few minutes per day. iirc, fighter get bonus attack, rogue get more sneak attack dices, monk is something defensive I think (maybe saving throws?), barb, I don't even remember.
But you lose studied target and 3 sneak attack dices and 3 slayer talents, and while the bonus you get give you more than what you lose in the same category, it's ultimately not enough to compensate everything since you can only get 1 imitator bonus at a time.
its a better fighter
wdym
Just play Baldurs Gate 3 for non autistic fun
>BG3
>can't
>summon spiders, cast web, polymorph into a spider and poison the held enemies to death
>play with Contingencies, Sequencers, Triggers to combo a frickton of different spells together, from multiple classes even, in a single action
>summon clones of yourself with the same abilities, spells and fighting prowess
>protect yourself with many layers of absurdly powerful wards granting immunity to almost everything that require specific spells to counter
>turn into a Mindflayer and brain drain even bosses to death after Time Stop, in a game about Mindflayers
>play a character that can cast both the ultimate mage and priest spells
>create an unlimited army of skeleton warriors to destroy everything in your path
>set 10x absurdly powerful traps before the enemy can even react
>achieve 150% Fire Resistance so you actually heal from fire and immolate your tank & enemies into 5x Fireballs and other Fire spells from your casters
>drag enemies into a corridor and use a Rod of Lightning so the it bounces 10x back and forth the walls for absurd damage
>Imprison enemies permanently under the earth with no save
>summon a Genie and wish for a ton of powerful stuff including recovering all spells and abilities for all party members, or even get a special adventure sidequest
>cast chaotic area of effect spells that randomly 1. petrify 2. sleep 3. turn into squirrels 4. deal varied damage etc enemies inside every round
>be a Wild Mage and roll the dice for tons of unique beneficial and harmful effects when casting spells, eventually highly shifting them into your favor
Big nope, the fun is all gone.
do you homies seriously gonna RGB color test skin of a fictional character
Yes, these Black folk seriously see a character with black skintone and then say "Prove he's black".
If they were black, why would they deny he is black?
You live in a weird world
My dudes, he is literally blacker than Will Smith, a black man.
what next? night elves and drow will become black?
I'm pretty sure that's already happened anon.
Look at the new LOTR show.
Yeah, look at this black guy too.
Dark as the night
he is not even human my dude
Whoa, racist.
pathfinder threads have consistently been the most autistic places on Ganker for years now.
Enemies sighted. Destroy them, fellow Ganker posters! Drown the board in their pathetic troony blood!
why don't they want to work a couple of lines for the absolutely obviously most picked romance option?
are they that lazy?
Rogue Trader
>cuckhammer
lol
lmao
>saying that in a pathfinder thread
lol, lmao even.
>games workshop will totally not clip owlcat's wings in favor of woke nonsense instead of pleasing their target demographic
I think you're going to be hard pressed to find any mainstream tabletop setting that isn't going to be too cucked/woke/leftist propaganda for you at this point.
indeed
>There are no Goodies in the Warhammer Universe
That's true in that there's no outright nice or kind people (Farsight Enclave? Hell, Tau in generally really)
But the idea that "Everyone's evil" is ridiculous when the forces of Humanity and the Eldar are fighting against literal Demon Hellspawn, Orks, Tyranids and rapemonster Eldar. Yeah, the humans do some fricked up stuff, a lot of fricked up stuff. But they're unquestionably one of the "Good guys" of the setting.
Obviously intended for "good guy" to mean "look up to" or be a group to emulate. The Imperium are the "Good guys" purely because the larger threats they oppose are either horrible dæmons that will eat your soul as soon as look at you, unkillable robots that will flay you, and horrible alien xenomorphs that will render you down to a soup and drink you. Pit them against something that isn't them and they're all pretty much the same level of evil.
dumb question, haven't bought the game yet but how does your character get drawn into events? I have a vague knowledge theres a giant hell anus and a crusade and somehow your character gets demon-mommy raped to become super special, but who are you before these events? how do you show up?
You answer a question in the first 2 minutes for basic motivation
It is a plot point
you get injured near kenabres with a weird looking wound that cannot be healed by regular means
and then demon apocalypses happens
You get dragged into a town enjoying their yearly festival on a stretcher, because some gays found you injured by the outskirts
There's a lot more to the story than just that, but that's major spoilers to the main plot
you were traveling to kenabres for reasons that you can specify in your first dialogue, get attacked by demons and fall in the city's underground caves
you meet the defenders while trying to leave and start working to find a way to get rid of the demons in the city
No, unlike original adventure path with character having possible backgrounds why he joined crusade(including being kidnapped and experimented on by areelu, lol), game doesn't have it. Even when you try to purge abyss cancer from your body and restore your true self, you can't remember much.
But there first dialogue to tell why you in the city
You were found wounded outside the walls of kenarbres on the day of a festival just before a demonic invasion of the city. How you were wounded and where you came from before that is a spoiler that is revealed later in the game.
Results are in.
He's black.
Results are in.
You are a homosexual
american understanding of what counts as white and black will never cease to baffle me
Sorry, you're right.
He's of African decent*
i have blond hair and i'm as pale as a freshly painted white wall, so pale that sitting 3 hours under the sun will only make other people darker because i reflect rays on them
my father has that skin colour
i'm not sure if you understand what a white person can look like
Post timestamped pics or frick off.
i'm not going to post pics of myself on this cesspool of a website lmao
>using an other american as example
the day america sinks in the ocean will be the greatest day on earth
The characters are literally designed by Americans.
owlcat is a russian game
game dev*
Anon, this guy is not white. No amount of stuttering and stammering about "Lighting" and "Tans" will make this guy white.
Please provide literally any evidence of him having a lighter skin tone than a black person.
And no, Drake is not black.
This is the skin color if you pick from the non shadowed area.
Is it honorary Black person pink?
>literal cherry picking
Shit no wonder he's saying White Lives Matter!
He's just got a tan!
Picking the skin color instead of the shadowed part is normal picking, anon.
I am sorry your obsession with Black folk has made you moronic.
This is why you use average, as nobody has homogenous skin tone, and lighting will always affect the colour of skin due to sub-surface scattering.
Look at the average. He's black.
>average
Anon, is
a Black person?
Average is pretty dark
Let's find out.
there you go you fricking moron
daeran is a polish kid who spent too much time under the sun while vacationing in croatia or something
go have a nice day
He's still a homosexual even ignoring you headcanon about him being "Tanned".
So now we went from "he's a Black person" to "he's a homosexual", have a nice day you demented moron.
Both are completely valid criticisms of a character.
ok and?
it's fantasy
whites:
germanics
russians
nordics
serbs
japanese (honorary)
nonwhites:
irish
itallians
the french (too cowardly to be whites despite their flag)
finns
armenians
ukranians
kellids
everyone else not listed
americans are not worthy of living
>Romans weren't white
>Greeks weren't white
Guess we need to tear down all that pure white marble neo classical stuff since that aesthetic is from non-whites.
but no anon
you don't understand
you see
they were germanics until the Black folk invaded and replaced them
varg told me in a dream
i was fricking joking about rgb testing ffs
>tan is the newBlack person
lol
In what universe is RGB(122,79,64) a tan?
In what universe a moron does not notice this is shadowed and the actual skin color is in the area the light hits?
This one, apparently, you demented troon
whats wrong with black paladins? they live in the sunniest place in the world, makes sense they have a strong connection to teh light
Don't like 'em, simple as.
If you add a black paladin to the game, you should be required to also add a white witchdoctor in full tribal regalia.
i'd rather have a Black person engage in european tropes than a white man acting like a Black person
That's just Cam
>why yes, I will equip a lower rated cloak of resistance to keep in line with my character's equipment's color scheme.
>and then be ass blasted because the game's balance is insane
>2 lower points in saving throws is enough for him to be assblasted
Sounds like a (You) problem.
Just use the transmog golem you doofus
Druid 20 / Barbarian 20
Explain to me why a bastard sword requires exotic proficiencies but longsword requires martial.
Because in normal tabletop rules, Bastard Swords are very unwieldy to use one handed and so needs an exotic proficiency, but can be used two handed with just martial, but implementing that would be hard, so it's just always exotic
What martials go good with a KILL CHAOS Retribution Angel build?
well hellknights have smite chaos thing
but class is sub par
Assuming pure class:
>Paladin(normal).
>Slayer (Deliverer)
For less thematic smiting
(mutt warrior or Two hander,
>Slayer(Spawn Slayer)
>Cavalier
>Barbd(mad dog or instictual warrior)
Warpriest is literally made for it
>non full bab martial
And crusader would do the job better
Aren't warpriests pretty terrible to play though?
They were strong in early game thanks to free +5 enchantment weapon while having ALL cleric buffs
They just used Kingmaker as a base, so there are leftovers that simply don't work for Wrath of the Righteous. There are still a lot of classes that work but there are a few that are completely useless. It's like whomever war implementing the classes and balancing the adventure did not play the game.
Thi is in a humble bundle but I don't get it. Wrath is in the bundle. Not the remake or whatever the frick that's on steam. It says 'owners of old are upgraded to new', but usually that means 'if you have owned it before we upgraded'.
Is it the upgraded version on humble, or do I gotta buy an upgrade somehow?
Is it even worth it yet? I remember reading a lot of the plot lines, upgrades and such feel unfinished and its buggy as frick.
>Is it the upgraded version on humble, or do I gotta buy an upgrade somehow?
It's the full game, there are dlc but the dlc is pretty low-impact sidestory type things.
>Is it even worth it yet?
There are underdeveloped aspects like some mythic paths and occasional bugs but you could find the same problems in every one of those games in that bundle and they're pretty much all classics of the genre.
I think it's the best game in years and that humble bundle is well worth buying.
So the upgrade is just universal, 'the full game'? Thanks.
I'll probably grab it after work then, after looking up if it fixes some issues I had with the first game (webs and the like not despawning after fights so you had to tediously shuffle rest, really weird balancing making half the classes kind of frustrating to play)
>webs and the like not despawning after fights
They've added an ability for every caster to remove their own area effects.
>really weird balancing making half the classes kind of frustrating to play
I think the balancing is better than kingmaker although you might still have the same issues, couldn't really say.
These were enemy webs.

From what I gather its an issue of the game system this is based off the begin with but I'm going to look up the specific classes I want to play and see if they still miss all the time or the like.
I've read the companions are much more likeable this time which was my other main issue with 1; I plainly did not like most of the cast, and there was nearly nothing for an evil player to get along with that wasn't bland.

I think mythic paths address some serious shortcomings of some classes, there's better equipment variety so you're not just fricked if you picked x weapon, etc.

I think they are, the evil companions are all pretty cool, it's the good characters that are still a bit bland.
rollan.
I dont get it, why is it so difficult to just make a video game where you, a straight white male, group up with some other straight white males and then go kill orcs and demons together? Is Warcraft: Orcs and Humans simply the only good fantasy video game ever made?
then fricking do it
i just wanna roll dices and make my 40 level fighter
get the frick out of here
you can make mercs you know
The npcs are still not human, not white or not male.
Boring and too much competition from older games. Also the type of person willing to play that pirates games. You have to cater to dumb people to be able to make them actually pay for products.
Same with TV shows and film, they specifically cater to low IQ people because low IQ people don't know how to pirate.
Video games are ultimately made by people who aren't talented enough to do other higher paying jobs.
Why would anyone put up with the bullshit of working in the video game industry, and the shit wages to go along with it, if not for a lack of ability to get anything better?
The devs are Chris wilson fans i guess.
