>They only NOW fire her?
Right??
They were fine with her BS, but suddenly this is what gets her fired?
Not sleeping with game dev friends.
Not giving those friends good reviews in return
But this
Around 2005-2006 when it was strictly a niche Japanese culture blog, it was pretty okay then. The really old guard, while homosexualy leftists, at least talked about Japan like it was an actual place instead of the sewer which pumps out e-girl sex games and that's why we should be more racist to Japs.
I don't remember his name... not Schrier but the other old as frick one who was there forever - he actually wrote clean, informative articles about different places to visit in Japan. I think he got caught up in a sex pest finger pointing drama though.
John Romero? No, just kidding... Stephen Totilo? Anyways. I think most of the regular staff quit back in 2013 or something already and this is when the Resetera/Neogaf homosexuals took over.
SAO is the worst anime I've seen and I can't understand how my friends like it.

You know, I thought it was good for a second on season 2, but it quickly wen back to moronic plots.
For those of you unaware, Patricia Hernandez was a terrible writer who worked for Kotaku. Wrote so many terrible gaming articles and shat on games because they lacked a feminist vibe. She was the OG SJW for the time, and her articles were always super political and bullshit and terribly written.
She never focused on the game or its features, more about how it was missing x minority or that the women were sexualized, etc. Glad she's gone, she was a terrible writer and was the main cause of making gaming so political.
Wasn’t kotaku the publication that first shat on final fantasy 16 for not being diverse enough, and then shat all over forspoken because it wasn’t the right KIND of diverse. Sure it had black actors and characters, but it was made by white people, so it still wasn’t diverse enough.
>That’s when I got really exhausted with them.
Smells like zoomer in here. Modern kotaku always had the worst hot takes to ragebait morons both before and after they got dunked on by hulk hogan. Before that they were mostly called out for being slowpokes about game news.

She wasn't the main cause, more of a hanger on during the time when game journo outlets started pushing hard with their anti White and anti male propaganda back around 2012 when every other news sphere started doing the same. She was responsible for some seriously moronic articles though, so naturally she failed upward as many of the writers there were shuffled off during the fallout of Gamergate.
What I don't get is why sites like Kotaku and Polygon are even around at all. They don't make any money, and they don't even work as a propaganda apparatus because no one reads it.
>why sites like Kotaku and Polygon are even around at all
Probably the usual: Corpo holders keeping the site up in case anyone wants to buy it, or some good'n'old money laundering.
My bet is the former because that is what they did to Lifehacker.
>What I don't get is why sites like Kotaku and Polygon are even around at all. They don't make any money, and they don't even work as a propaganda apparatus because no one reads it.
They're mouthpieces for certain entities to publish their views to give said views more authority. It's a really powerful move in the vidya industry because, as you might guess, Japanese devs don't read feedback directly from the consumers. They're not here browsing Ganker. They go to their translators (resetera browsers) and ask "pureasu terr me, where can i read what amerikajin thinku??" and they get directed to heaps of shit like Kotaku.
In addition to this, it sets a narrative further down the line. In 10 or 20 years they can point back to Kotaku articles and tell unassuming newbies "you see? gamers really cared about this issue!"
FF never had that many viewers to begin with, just look at the channel. Any Youtube andy has more recurrent viewers. She probably just got bored of the facade and wanted to get out to enjoy living off the millions she grifted off morons.
Nah there were a decent amount of viewers back in 2014-2015. And while a lot of them were probably hate-watching it was still in the millions. It's just that 2014 was almost a decade ago now and FF have been barely hitting 1000 views per video since 2018... which is now 5 years ago

Kotaku was the main reason I stayed on Ganker. Back in 2009 or something I got on /b/ because of 1dGanker, scored some free porn passwords and would just lurk b whenever I was horny. One day someone posted a crop of Kotakus article about the then up and coming fan visual novel Katawa Shoujo.
I fell for the hype train and started lurking threads on Ganker

It was shit before she came on and its gonna be shit in the future. I used to actually lurk Kotaku just to get a sorta of "opposing view" on things. ya know, challenge my own perceptions. But as time went on it just devolved from socialized underground weebs who are too afraid to admit they're weebs to snarky corporate wiener suckers to uppity sociology drop outs with nothing to say other than being contrarian corporate wiener suckers in the name of owning the alt-right. Its just so fricking tiresome, I'm trying to get info on gaming shit and instead I have to go through the authors personal vendetta against their borderline schizoid delusions about the boogeyman that is the Alt-Right/Nazis. Info on an upcoming JRPG? Nope gotta read about how some dude on a message board had a profile pic that could maybe be nazi related therefore a condemnation of the whole community. Scandal involving some Bethesda/Activision/EA frickery? Nope gotta go through the editors snarky pot shots over something sexist said by someone unrelated 5 years ago. Wanna get an insight on a games development? Nope gotta read about Obama and Trump. And worst off the community moderation just devolved into "agree or get banned" so you get this echo-chamber with a moral compass as strong as wet paper.
And then GamerGate happened and my god, as someone with no dog in the fight it seemed so disingenuous how they would pivot to whatever you homosexuals would post on Ganker to cover up with how they turned their efforts into making a real journalistic community into a school lunchroom click for xanax addicted bullied losers riddled with social anxiety. But just with every other culture war shit, there's nuance and they made sure to draw the line in the sand as close to their feet as possible and demand everyone take their side else they be labelled some sort of "-ist".
So yeah, it's been dogshit. She was a product of the culture and its not like it'll change overnight.
I wrote this in the other thread but their last editor-in-chief was Stephen Totilo. Back in 2010, before becoming editor, he wrote a piece about how he'd never played the original Doom and was going to play it for the first time. TL;DR version: He managed to get lost in E1M1 and had to download a map off the internet to get through it (never mind that Doom has an in game map and this numpty didn't press Tab, how the frick do you get lost in E1M1?! It's almost a straight line) before getting killed in E1M2 and then declaring that, at long last, he'd finally played Doom.
One of the worst fricking things I've ever goddamn read. So at least Kotaku's hiring policy's consistent
>Patricia Hernandez
Man I haven't heard that name in years. We used to shitpost about her looking like an orangutan all the time back when we had those make fun of gaming journalists threads.
Well at least it was personal and heartfelt, and as pc kid that first saw sex in a video game in F2, which was the first game i bought for my first pc, i related to the story.
I know square enix is fricking moronic and losing relevance extremely fast but kotaku was absolutely moronic to shit out hit piece over hit piece over hit piece over ffxvi because it didn’t have Black folk. It’s just bad bussinees
Lmao, women were not forced to fight against their will, and still aren't. In Ukraine men aren't allowed to leave the country because the govt wants to use them
She wants the credit for fighting in war without actually having to participate, meanwhile whitewashing inequalities. She's a send serving narcissist with no empathy.
Dumb fricking moronic newbie tourist, holy shit. How the frick has it gotten this bad? You looked at that article and thought it was real, and then brought in your dumb fricking slavshitter CURRENT THING war into the mix too. My god go the FRICK BACK, PEDRO.
anyone got the one where the headline was like "gaming has triggered my rape ptsd" and the first line was "to make things clear I have never been raped"
I kind of miss when rape was the ultimate sjw buzzword, it was funny
>Shit in a house and infest it with roaches >Remove the person who did the shitting and infesting >The shit and roaches still remain
It will still be a shithole unless they truly clean house.
Nah. Sued their parent company, Gawker, an won. Gawker did get revived a few years ago but it's a completely different team and it's basically a different site using the same brand name. Every other Gawker subsidiary (Kotaku, Jezebel, etc.) got acquired by the AV club/Onion people and unfortunately kept going, although without Gawker proper they almost all dipped in relevancy and most of those sites have been largely irrelevant for years now.
Also, I'd recommend Ryan Holiday's book on the lawsuit. It's surprisingly even-handed about everything and goes into a shit-ton of detail that you probably had no idea about even if you followed the whole case closely.
>Editor in chief
How? Not only was she kept around but she got seemingly more than 1 promotion. That really tells you everything you need to know about games journalism.
Daily reminder that people who say shit like >EVERYTHING IS POLITICAL
are political extremists.
Any conversation with an extremist is pointless, a hardcore LGBT or feminist is literally no different from a nazi or an islamist terrorist.
They don't understand violence either you either kill them or isolate them in prisons, ANY ATTEMPT TO PROVE THEM WRONG IS A WASTE OF TIME. Because they have "everything figured out" and don't believe they're doing anything wrong.
Because they use sophistry, like i said don't argue with these people.
If you don't have a gun ready to shoot the SJW in the forehead just avoid them.
You can't win someone for whom the entire point of life is to argue about something. It's the same with the german nazis, for them the entire point of life is constant struggle if they don't fight for their or someone else's rights or something they feel like their life is empty.
youre exactly spot on. its also why liberals and sjws in particular are obsessed with superheros.
they wanna be heros themselves, but they cant be a hero if theres no clear bad guy or problem. thats easily solved by just calling people nazis, cause thats an easy black and white situation; much easier to deal with than the grey reality
They basically pick on random people look for things they dislike and then accuse the person of being a nazi, dehumanize this person and then you're basically a subhuman to them.
Since you're a subhuman in their eyes there's nothing you can do besides admitting you're subhuman and having this moronic "guilt culture" or just outright killing yourself since as we know "subhumans should live".
SJWs just look for people to discriminate against and spill their hatred at.
Well the weird thing about the whole 'Everything is Political' thing is that it's a complete misquote: It's actually 'The personal is political,' which is a thing from 2nd wave feminism in the 60s. Except that's a misquote itself: the original line was: >So the reason I participate in these meetings is not to solve any personal problem. One of the first things we discover in these groups is that personal problems are political problems. There are no personal solutions at this time. There is only collective action for a collective solution.
That's by Carol Hanisch, some radical liberal feminist. 'The Personal is political' was something a later editor re-titled her paper as. And feel free to disagree with that if you want, but Hanisch herself later said about it in a later piece from 2006: >Also, “political” was used here in the broad sense of the word as having to do with power relationships, not the narrow sense of electorial politics.
So basically anyone who says 'Everything is Political' is actually misquoting something so badly that they've ended up with an entirely different meaning.
Eh, I really don't feel like getting into a political debate right now, but my main point is that stupid, slogan nonsense like "Everything is political" is actually a misquote of a misquote that's been taken so far out of context that it's actually now got a completely different and almost opposite meaning to what it originally meant. Point being, people who say that are idiots who have no idea that they're being idiots cause they haven't actually read 2nd wave feminism, they're just repeating slogans verbatim. Don't get me started on "Punching up not down."
its not a debate. you stated a fact that people are horribly misquoting something, and i added another fact that said people are in fact liberals. no right-wing person says "everything is political"
True. You also made the point that: >they [meaning "liberals"] only care about emotional iq and what is popular in their echo chambers
My point was that the original quote is from 2nd wave, radical liberal feminism but it's been taken so far out of context by modern, internet.... whatever the frick we're calling it now (SJW? Woke?) liberals that it's now got a completely different meaning to the original radical liberal feminist version. And you can disagree with the radical liberal feminist version, but there's an actual argument there. The 'everything is political' version's just nonsense that means nothing and is only believed because everyone else says it so it must be true. Which again, echo chambers and all that like you said.
You seem to be cut from a similar cloth as these people you complain about. Anyways, I have no hope that the quality of Kotaku's clickbait is about to improve.
I just understand their logic, it's fricked up and warped but there is logic. No morals though and no rules or boudaries they won't cross, including murder and whatnot. Which is why arguing makes no sense.
Grim comment section here honestly. Regardless of your personal feelings on Kotaku or the work of Patricia Hernandez, G/O Media is not anyone's friend. There's nothing to celebrate here; their mismanagement of everything under the former Gawker umbrella and their open disdain for their workers has been shameful.
>if you celebrate some shitflinging moron that has been running wild for over a decade getting fired then that means you're siding with the corpogay conglomerate that fired them
Did you just wander in from the Ganker writers strike threads? have a nice day you dumb homosexual. >and their open disdain for their workers has been shameful.
Shameful to who? Everyone should treat """journalists"""" with nothing but disdain. Curbstomp every journalist.
The thing I remember most about Gorilla Hernandez all these years later is way back when the Cards Against Humanity creator was being accused of rape, and the accusations were finally disproven, this b***h comes out with an article that said something like >Yeah ok he's innocent or whatever, but he shouldn't have defended himself. Instead he should have stayed quiet and allowed the accusation to stand, in order to "start a conversation"
>Does Kotaku have a chance at being saved now that the big-baddie running it into the ground is gone?
I wouldn't read Kotaku even if it was good, i get my videogame opinions from watching gameplay videos
Cheering for someone failing who, by their position does harm to our hobby actively is not somehow a violation of that. This isn't just some random gamer losing their job, this is one of those in charge of the chief publications that tried to undermine gaming because of taking offense and paint anyone who didnt' like it as pariahs.
I'm not sure it's b8 any more. Every thread that could be even vaguely construed as political has a poster with lefty opinions posting with no capitalization and reddit spacing.
I somehow doubt it was only one person fricking it up (ie Schreier left but clearly that didn't fix it and things only got worse) and I never remember a time it wasn't shit (or at least the shit outweighed anything decent). Gawker basically owning them and now the push for AI bullshit is not likely to lead to everything being great either. I can't see any good outcome except the site basically melting away or is trashed because it doesn't print money. The harm it, and its staff has done to gaming has been significant.
Ultimately the thing that probably bothers me the most is that last I checked, even after Kotaku decided in the past few years to be about gaming culture war related shit, they still allow their reviews to affect metacritic as a normal GAEM JURINALIST FOR SERIOUS. When Jesus Games Dot Bible marks some game down for having naughty words in it it does't affect its metascore, but somehow Kotaku/Resetera and the like can yell about microaggressions and drop points that a game character is not voiced by a person of color properly and that's allowed to stand? Its mostly because Kotaku was seen asa "serious" gaming review site but frick, that shit needs to stop.
Imagine, just imagine, posting this overpozzed mentally ill shithole known as Kotaku here. How about you kys? One femoid being fired does nothing, ALL of them are mentally ill leftists.
While it's been a long time coming and a very well deserved fate that every vidya journo should share, the concerning part is what position she will be nepo'd to now.
>venture capital drying up >EGS getting harder and harder to please while they got even more picky with the companies to invest >economy in shambles due post covid problems and the current US - China economic war >on top of the sudden backpedaling on insulting males since there's a 3rd world war looming in the horizon and they need disposable cattle to throw into the grinder
Who knew that most of the western world's problems could have been fixed with another world war
>Patricia Hernandez has been fired for incompetence. Xir will be replaced by Laticia Fernandez, who promises to crack down on right wing extremism within the company.
>firing someone for incompetence from Kotaku this many years later.
A little too late isn't it? This is really taking the slowtaku meme to the next level.
They only NOW fire her?
kek
Yeah, they are like 15 years too late.
But doing this doesn't make Kotaku any less of a shithole.
>They only NOW fire her?
Right??
They were fine with her BS, but suddenly this is what gets her fired?
Not sleeping with game dev friends.
Not giving those friends good reviews in return
But this
They're literally replacing everyone with AI from what I understand.
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Thank you for making this image.
Frick you.
Good
A fricking robot will write better articles that some quippy marvel move watching californian Black person
nah, they're just working on training models to toe the line
it'll be 100% pozzed still
So worst case scenario things just remain the same, but at least these homosexual journos will need to get actual jobs.
yes, true
Just as planned once all switch to AI the elite who control it will control all news without resistance
>implying kotaku isn't a puppet
All media is controlled, what you fear was set in motion decades before you were born
I got one welcome GW
>They're literally replacing everyone with AI from what I understand.
I kneel
Well, can’t get any worse
To be fair people are unironically more soulless than AI now
Still an improvement.
For the articles they publish, nobody will notice a change
Never heard of him.
>him
You clearly have. I just assumed it was some random b***h, but now I assume it's a troony.
But I actually haven't. Only one I know from Kotaku is that one hooked nose israelite that George Kamitani mocked.
Jason's with Bloomberg now
No it's a woman, from before the troony movement started. An exceptionally ugly one though, would unironically look better as a man.
She's not a troony but she is a gorilla
newbies
Why not both
She's been around since before trannies existed, newbie. We were mocking her before gg even began.
i can't remember a time when kotaku was ever good, so i doubt it will start getting good now

I havent thought about her in nearly 10 years. Who gives a frick?
Kotaku was already trash 15 years ago when they just ripped gaming news from other sites
Kotaku was never good.
What other anime has he seen in Years
Boku no Pico
Kotaku was good back when it was just a blog of cool stuff in Japan
pink tentacle and rocket news did that schtick way better.
this also does anyone else miss 1o9 used to love that site.
>SAO
Time for the reminder
SAO is the worst anime I've seen and I can't understand how my friends like it.

pic unrelated?
SAO hate is the most npc thing possible.
Sucking and Praising Kirito's dick is even more NPC
By 2012 Kotaku was going downhill fast and the rot already setting in. You want "decent Kotaku" you're going to have to go to 2009-2010.
For those of you unaware, Patricia Hernandez was a terrible writer who worked for Kotaku. Wrote so many terrible gaming articles and shat on games because they lacked a feminist vibe. She was the OG SJW for the time, and her articles were always super political and bullshit and terribly written.

Ahh... the slowpoke memes... A more elegant meme for a more civilized age.
>at the end of their career, I was exhausted with them
Wow, if only you caught on just a bit sooner, like literally everyone fricking else on Ganker.
>That’s when
I really hope this is just lazy bait.
>That’s when I got really exhausted with them.
Are you underage or was the Forspoken article the first time you heard about them?
Is this patient zero for the New Vegas LGBT phenomenon?
Well you caught on late but it's a perfect example of why you should never back down or give up your creative freedom because some political moron doesn't like it.

I don't get why they didn't die with Gawker. I thought Hulk Hogan killed this site for good.
She basically elected Trump
By tye tome Hernandez came in Kotaku had been woke quite a while. Kotaku was making woke articles about re5 way back in 2009.
>he. let. me. die.
Even hating on kotaku got old, no one cares now
Same with Feminist Frequency, hence the closure

Judging by their last videos, it got pretty off the rails at the end.
ITT: Cancel culture in action.
Make no mistake, my friends. Patricia Hernandez is a victim of cancel culture.
Being bad at your job isn't getting cancelled
Dumbass
ywnbaw
>nooooooo you're not supposed to follow the other side of the golden rule, you're supposed to keep trying to act like we're decent people that can be reasoned with
No, I hope it fricking dies.
Was that the b***h who always wrote how she got groomed and raped in online games or the axewound troony?
she also browsed /vp/ and would post memes and screenshots when people got banned for pirating sun and moon
>Was that the b***h who always wrote how she got groomed and raped
That's Sam Maggs and unfortunately she's more powerful than before
How does she keep getting work? She's literally been fired and caused tons of issues for multiple studios yet others see that and say "yeah lets hire her". Is she just really good at sucking dick?

Great, he's gonna get an undeserved job somewhere else.
>the big-baddie running it into the ground
the entirety of Kotaku is like her
why are you advertising their site you stupid fricking homosexual
>Kotaku
>Kotaku in 2023
What is there even left to save?
She's been incompetent for a decade at least.
How did one of their worst writers even become their editor in chief? Did all the actual writers leave?
Oh man, I forgot he existed.
>Patricia Hernandez
Man I haven't heard that name in years. We used to shitpost about her looking like an orangutan all the time back when we had those make fun of gaming journalists threads.
>Those threads where anons would make fake articles and we would guess which ones were real
Can't believe it has been a decade
You could tell the fake ones because they all had the same specific date and time, or at least a lot of them did.
Yeah Feb 20, forgot what year
Where did the time go man
wait, she was made editor in chief? had kotaku really fallen off that hard?
That one? That particular article on Fallout 2 was kinda soulful but good riddance.
>fat dyke crying for attention
>soulful
Well at least it was personal and heartfelt, and as pc kid that first saw sex in a video game in F2, which was the first game i bought for my first pc, i related to the story.
you are a redditor and a homosexual
b***h should've been fired a long time ago so no. They may as well gut the platform all-together because there is no saving it.
ding dong the witch is dead
GamerGatebros, does that mean we finally won?
Right on the 10 year anniversary of Gone Home and her moronic review
I know square enix is fricking moronic and losing relevance extremely fast but kotaku was absolutely moronic to shit out hit piece over hit piece over hit piece over ffxvi because it didn’t have Black folk. It’s just bad bussinees
ITT cancel culture is ok when I am the one canceling
Im sure it will work the third you post this, sis
Patricia Hernandez thread?
Oh man it's been ten years, there were so many of these back then
Back then we laughed at this. Now it's the newest netflix show.
todays jokes and caricatures are tomorrows reality
>next they'll become activists for sex with bears lol - 2010 anonymous
Lmao, women were not forced to fight against their will, and still aren't. In Ukraine men aren't allowed to leave the country because the govt wants to use them
She wants the credit for fighting in war without actually having to participate, meanwhile whitewashing inequalities. She's a send serving narcissist with no empathy.
>send
*Self
The article's fake.
What kind of man marries this in the first place?
Dumb fricking moronic newbie tourist, holy shit. How the frick has it gotten this bad? You looked at that article and thought it was real, and then brought in your dumb fricking slavshitter CURRENT THING war into the mix too. My god go the FRICK BACK, PEDRO.
Yes I'm a newbie, started using the site in 2018
However, this site is full of newbies so getting mad at it is moronic.
That's a parody image made by an anon a decade ago, dumb newbie.
Not him but things are so bad I don't blame him for thinking it's real.
anyone got the one where the headline was like "gaming has triggered my rape ptsd" and the first line was "to make things clear I have never been raped"
I kind of miss when rape was the ultimate sjw buzzword, it was funny
What was her original article that spawned all of these parodies?
I probably saved it, but I honestly can't tell it from some the others now.
Remember back in the early 2010s when we thought this shit would just stay on the internet and not leak into the real world?
Simple days.
Ten years ago this was considered a joke. Now, companies like Netflix, Dice, and Disney, have made it real.
The slippery slope is real.
Shit, i take back what i said about Fallout 2.
>Shit in a house and infest it with roaches
>Remove the person who did the shitting and infesting
>The shit and roaches still remain
It will still be a shithole unless they truly clean house.
>kotaku
Didn't the Hulkster sue them to oblivion and beyond? Why are they still active?
That really tells you everything you need to know about games journalism.
tfw you're old enough to remember Kotaku back when they were allowed to have a -tan
i'm old enough to remember one of their staff having an Etna tattoo
I miss magazine-tans. A couple vidya magazines had them back in the day.
Daily reminder that people who say shit like
>EVERYTHING IS POLITICAL
are political extremists.
Don't waste time talking to political extremists.
people who say everything is political are also the first to go "no this game/movie isnt political what you talking about you alt-right nazi"
Except that's a misquote itself: the original line was:
>So the reason I participate in these meetings is not to solve any personal problem. One of the first things we discover in these groups is that personal problems are political problems. There are no personal solutions at this time. There is only collective action for a collective solution.
That's by Carol Hanisch, some radical liberal feminist. 'The Personal is political' was something a later editor re-titled her paper as. And feel free to disagree with that if you want, but Hanisch herself later said about it in a later piece from 2006:
>Also, “political” was used here in the broad sense of the word as having to do with power relationships, not the narrow sense of electorial politics.
So basically anyone who says 'Everything is Political' is actually misquoting something so badly that they've ended up with an entirely different meaning.
liberals dont operate on logic and facts, they only care about emotional iq and what is popular in their echo chambers
True. You also made the point that:
>they [meaning "liberals"] only care about emotional iq and what is popular in their echo chambers
What took them so long to give fatty Patty the ax?
Learn to Code 🙂
Grim comment section here honestly. Regardless of your personal feelings on Kotaku or the work of Patricia Hernandez, G/O Media is not anyone's friend. There's nothing to celebrate here; their mismanagement of everything under the former Gawker umbrella and their open disdain for their workers has been shameful.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE?
anon he even left the words "comment section" to clue you in that it's copypasta
cool it with the antisemitism bro
>if you celebrate some shitflinging moron that has been running wild for over a decade getting fired then that means you're siding with the corpogay conglomerate that fired them
Did you just wander in from the Ganker writers strike threads? have a nice day you dumb homosexual.
>and their open disdain for their workers has been shameful.
Shameful to who? Everyone should treat """journalists"""" with nothing but disdain. Curbstomp every journalist.
The thing I remember most about Gorilla Hernandez all these years later is way back when the Cards Against Humanity creator was being accused of rape, and the accusations were finally disproven, this b***h comes out with an article that said something like
>Yeah ok he's innocent or whatever, but he shouldn't have defended himself. Instead he should have stayed quiet and allowed the accusation to stand, in order to "start a conversation"
Kotaku hasn't beem relevant in years anon
Wow, even resetera is getting in on the kicking.
well that dude is probably perma-banned by now. wonder what the stupid mod reason put in the ban message will be.
Someone post her webms.
>Does Kotaku have a chance at being saved now that the big-baddie running it into the ground is gone?
I wouldn't read Kotaku even if it was good, i get my videogame opinions from watching gameplay videos
Loudly fired and then quietly rehired on as an 'advisor' with the same pay.
>Ganker openly cheering for people to lose their income and livelihoods
i yearn for the days this site was left-leaning where we openly shit on scientology but still didn't wish ill on those who share our hobby.
Cheering for someone failing who, by their position does harm to our hobby actively is not somehow a violation of that. This isn't just some random gamer losing their job, this is one of those in charge of the chief publications that tried to undermine gaming because of taking offense and paint anyone who didnt' like it as pariahs.
>Cheering for someone failing who, by their position does harm to our hobby
wrong.
only thing it did was bring another perspective in.
stop being such losers over other people's opinions.
...that's some strong bait with the stupidity combined with actual, authentic Reddit spacing.
I'm not sure it's b8 any more. Every thread that could be even vaguely construed as political has a poster with lefty opinions posting with no capitalization and reddit spacing.
Either discord raiders or a new schizo would be my guess
Yes, a shit-stupid, worthless perspective.
Nothing of value has been lost.
kys leftard, you will never "fit in" nor fool anyone
Misogyny
Imagine, just imagine, posting this overpozzed mentally ill shithole known as Kotaku here. How about you kys? One femoid being fired does nothing, ALL of them are mentally ill leftists.
While it's been a long time coming and a very well deserved fate that every vidya journo should share, the concerning part is what position she will be nepo'd to now.
>venture capital drying up
>EGS getting harder and harder to please while they got even more picky with the companies to invest
>economy in shambles due post covid problems and the current US - China economic war
>on top of the sudden backpedaling on insulting males since there's a 3rd world war looming in the horizon and they need disposable cattle to throw into the grinder
Who knew that most of the western world's problems could have been fixed with another world war
Senator Armstrong was right all along
>Patricia Hernandez has been fired for incompetence. Xir will be replaced by Laticia Fernandez, who promises to crack down on right wing extremism within the company.
>firing someone for incompetence from Kotaku this many years later.
A little too late isn't it? This is really taking the slowtaku meme to the next level.
it only took 9 years but gamergate finally has a win
Who was the guy who wrote that Rock Band 4 preview where he said nothing about Rock Band? Where is he now?
>the fricking gorilla got kicked out
>after more than a decade
lol wut
