Of course it is, just an moronic shill
Man things are looking grim for gaming if this is ehatis considered "saving" it
The game that will save the 2020s

please go back.
Enjoy all of the diversity that SpaceSkyrim has to offer.
Skyrim’s success ruined Bethesda as a dev studio. What a horrible path for TES to have followed.
Bethesda became relevant with Morrowind, which also set it down the path of creating Skyrim. There is no world where Morrowind exists and Skyrim doesn't.
Skywind is going to bring the fire back in the modding community. All the skybabies will now be able to say they played Morrowind. All Morrowind projects will probably move over to it too. It's going to be great.
yeah, just 2 more weeks until it's finally out
It'll be out sooner than you think. They've shown a lot lately.
>last livestream was 6 months ago
it's over dude. At best it releases in 2027. At least we then have 2 years to play Skyblivion
You know how secretive they are. Live streams have nothing to do with anything.
I don't get what you mean.
Consoles getting mods killed the modding community. The PC crowd were no longer special snowflakes so many modders packed up and left.
If Morrowind still has them then Skyrim/wind will too.
Source? Console mods are largely just ports of PC mods, they're just hangers-on that expand a modder's audience rather than compete with it. Anyone who sees console mods and decides modding now sucks seems hysterical and were likely to find some other stupid reason to be dramatic and quit.
You should have seen the histrionics when consoles got mods. The modding community was full of elitists who announced they did not want their mods on an inferior platform.
The funniest thing is next to nobody mods the console versions. The most popular on Xbox is a lite version of console commands at around 5% and a drop off after that for the second most downloaded.
Being elitist against a group that barely knows you exist tickles me to no end.
Now that I think about it, that really does make a lot of sense. Both modders and their audience get very elitist about the ability to mod games. Damn near every Bethesda thread you hear someone saying that the studio's entire success is solely due to modders.
They are quite proud of being the only reason Bethesda is so successful. They are a humble lot .Did you know there are mods so good they have over 100 million unique downloads on nexxus? Yes mods are so good 70 million people have modded a game they don't have.
maybe for Skyrim but Fallout 4 mods on Xbox are great since hardly anything uses the script extender
Skyrim has 5 gig available for mods on Xbox while Fallout had 2 gig available. It would appear Fallout modding is not as in demand on Xbox as Skyrim.I think years of elitist attitude from modders has poisoned it among fans who may have been interested in it on console.

Implying that a decade of gaming "needs saving" is moronic
There are shitty years, sure. 2012 was shit. 2019 was shit. The 2010s as a whole were fine, with or without elder scrolls. Same for the 2000s, ESPECIALLY for the 2000s in fact.
It's too early to call the 2020s as a whole a wash. 2022 was, in my opinion, one of the best years since 2017 and may end up being the best year for gaming this decade.
>Morrowind
A dreadful game that people only remember due to contrarian nostalgia.
>Skyrim
An unfinished, rushed mess that runs on a recycled engine, that introduced lots of shitty mechanics in contemporary games and that, despite the multiple patches, paid updates and re-releases through the last ten years still has bugs.
>Starfield
An unfinished, rushed mess that runs on a recycled engine that will make millions because if Cyberpunk 2077 taught us anything is that no matter how shitty a game is, people will buy it and defend the millionaire company behind it based on hype alone.
imagine doubting Todd
couldn't be me
>8 years is rushed
Do you play one game a decade?
>8 years despite the fact that it runs of FO4 engine
kek
It doesn't, it runs on CE2
>runs on a recycled engine
I thought they built a new engine for Starfield? Was that just bullshit?
It's built off the old engine but has enough changes to justify being called a new edition. It's as recycled as Unreal Engine which was first created in the 90s.
No they didn't build a new engine just overhauled the Creation Engine, don't think all the new features and overhauls have been told to us yet but we know theirs a new animation system in and Havok is gone. Really shows in the new gameplay we got, animations looked improve 10 fold.
>Kill the modding community
>morrowind saving anything
>RPG Codex
that shitty website that had their shitty planesape raped by /tg/ grognards putting them in their place after exposing them?
qrd?
Fan fiction. The trannies in /tg/ hate the codex and the actual boomers in codex hate /tg/.
TL;DR Codexgays made that shitty list putting planescape on top as the good gayots they are, /tg/ raided the forums and defeated them with logic, codex admins as the liberal troonyboomers they are after the 40's, proceeded to delete everything out of pure spite to not get exposed as frauds.
None of the Black folk ever played Ultima or Zork At all, or even other CRPG's, thus the joke of obsidian games becoming baby's 1st unfinished rpg was born.
I want to lick lilura's feet
me too
This is the second time I've seen someone post Guu in one day
and your filename is different so it cant be the same guy
Holy shit. This actually confirms it. Morrowind is a game women will never understand.
You really think she's a woman?
Reminder that the MS Pajeet street shitting shills are going to go absolute deathcon full force to shill Starfield. It is the literal only video game MS has and not only that, if it doesn't do well and sell Xbox Series X like it's supposed to, they will never make another console.
>He says as he engages in just as much console war bullshit
>6months away
>they've barely shown off anything
its getting delayed
Why is Todd the only developer left making games?
GAME OF THE DECADE
How did Morrowind get away with giving black people a -10 to Intelligence? How did Oblivion?
How did Todd manage to slip unnoticed through the Current Year and never get cancelled for it?
He truly is the Duke of Duplicity. The Sultan of Subterfuge. The Friar of Fraud.
Well they make up for it in their hiring diversity.
I love how Daggerfall names are generated. The high priestess at my favorite temple of Dibella was named b***h'tha
YWNBA You Will Never Bed an Argonian
it will be a fallout 76 tier expansion
normal people will laugh at it and move on after 2-3 days while a couple hundred fanboys will stick with it out spite
First time experiencing a big game launch, zoomer?
I don't know what is sadder
If the people posting comments like this are just shitposting or unironically believe it
You guys remember playing Skyrim the first day, playing the into and doing your first dungeon being blown away. And then you did another dungeon and weird its kinda the same as first but ok, and than you do another dungeon and its the same, and another and another and you realize the whole game is copy pasta
It wasn't that bad, it makes since geographically the ruins would have repeating architecture, as you would in greece, rome, china, american mcdonalds, everywhere. But each of these ruins usually had a unique or distinct enough layout, and had a story or secret behind it that made it fun to explore. Maybe 5 out of 100 felt truly copy/paste. Besides, the story I would give a C+ in skyrim if Morrowind is a A-. But no matter what, Skyrim had a lot of replayability and if you complain about it today and brag about dropping it, either you were somehow kinda filtered, or you dropped it after 400-1000 hrs of time you put in it. gays on this board are trying to revise history of how much of an impact Skyrim had in gaming. It might not have been the best Elder Scrolls, but it was one of the best well-rounded "Games" that deserves a top 10 place. Starfield might be a different story though.
>Worse Oblivion saved gaming
If you think I'm gonna hype myself for several months straight, you're dead wrong shill. Come back with these when we're the customary two weeks out.
Y-yea haha who would be continuously hype for a game for over a year, surely nobody's that obsessed
Do you have something to share with the class, Anon?
So realistically and unironically what aspects of Skyrim do you think will be streamlined a bit for TESVI? Or do you think they've reached a floor of sorts on how much it can be.
There has been more and more to do in every Elder Scrolls game going forward, so I expect Elder Scrolls 6 to have the most gameplay variety yet of any game in the series
They may at most consolidate the magic schools Maybe have it be a massive skill tree instead. I do see them focusing a TON on settlement building though. People seem to love that shit so we'll likely have Elder Scrolls 6 set in a province with a lot of unclaimed territory. This would mean Valenwood or Hammerfell. Leaning more towards Hammerfell as I do not see Bethesda ever doing a non human dominated province again. Way too hard to market.
I know in Fallout 76 you can now fast travel from interiors. I think the only prohibition on fast travel now is
1 You have to have visited the location prior
2 Not while in combat.
Looks like fast travel is perfected so no more changes are neccessary.
The rpg Colony Ship and Age of Decadence allow you to fast travel to any place at any time. While I don't think Bethesda will do that it's always an option too. I think in those two games the area has to be mentioned by an npc first though. But honestly I feel like companies are treating normalgays less like braindead morons and more consumers to buy dlc so VI may end up being more complicated instead. Just a little bit though.
>Remove staffs and crossbows
>Remove glass, silver, and orcish weapons
>Armor sets are helmet, torso, legs, they get two slots for enchanting to compensate
>Use Starfield's perk system instead of numerical skills
>Perks are in only three categories, warrior, mage, thief (same average amount of perks overall as Starfield or Skyrim, just consolidated)
>Use FO4 and Starfield's companion system instead of the follower system, you don't have 20+ women to choose to marry anymore
posts like this are absolutely moronic and only morons make them
>you don't have 20+ women to choose to marry anymore
It's going to be an equal amount of 2 straight/2 gay/2 bisexual /2 asexual
That would be something new for Bethesda, they've typically made playersexual companions.
I feel like that trend is ending as it makes all camps upset. Everyone just gets a generic dialogue vs a hand crafted one per sexuality. We'll probably get people b***hing about so and so not being gay or straight but that always happens anyway.
This is a bit too far even for Bethesda. I think them removing weapons is not going to happen anymore. Hell we might even get spears back as Bethesda has had people moaning nonstop since Oblivion for it. ESO gays whine about it too. Not like they need to rush anymore either as Microsoft is their papa now too. Armor will probably be like that though yes. Can't speak for the perks as I haven't played many modern games recently but it'll follow the trends probably so probably something akin to Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, Elden Ring or something. Also they better fricking give us levitation back.
Levitation seems like a fair possibility now that they're experimenting with designing areas for microgravity. It comes down to tone though, if they're intending to make another grounded fantasy jaunt with little in the way of high magic, they'll continue to keep it out.
>Armor sets are helmet, torso, legs, they get two slots for enchanting to compensate
>let's ignore fallout 4 (2015) had 6 armor slots + 4 slots for clothing
bethesda doesn't just simplify, they add 1 new thing for every 2 things removed
>Adds Spears
>Removes ???
>Adds Maormer
>Removes ???
Sonyshits seething.
For as many times I have heard the phrase, "Why would I buy an Xbox? I'll just play it on PC" this is hilarious. I have never seen such a lack of self awareness from a certain group of individuals. I can guarantee you over half of the people who own a PS5 have no PC and they were trying to downplay what was actually "exclusive" until Sony started to release games on Steam too.
For the first time since Bethesda started making shooter RPGs, they've finally learned how to make a decent pistol idle animation.
>Sci-fi double-barrel revolver
It's a normal revolver, just with a rail on top. Probably inspired by mateba/chiappa since that's what basically every sci-fi revolver is made from. They've already shown the space p90 so now all we need is a Kriss vector to round out the stereotypical space guns.
The rail typically doesn't resemble another barrel. Your image is a prime example, whereas this
looks like two entirely separate barrels stacked vertically like a Winchester M101.
It does sorta look like that from this angle, also reminds me of the laser sight from Terminator.
I'm primarily going off of the silhouette in the HUD, we don't have a good enough profile shot otherwise. To me it looks like the top line in the silhouette is too far up to be connected to the cylinder as a barrel, but it'd be pretty damn cool if I was wrong and it's a 3 shot revolver that does stupid big damage.
Think I might actually make a pistol build for once if that seriously is just Nero's Blue Rose from DMC.
>there are people in this very thread who have forgotten that 'diversity' can be used in a non-political way
No one cares about space shit, it's not going to be nowhere as popular as TES/Fallout.
>No one cares about space shit
But I do, also its a Bethesda game no matter what the setting It'll sell like hotcakes
It's guaranteed to sell 10 million minimum if it's as good gameplay wise as Fallout 4 (not a high bar). Mass Effect 3 sold 7 million a decade ago and the industry has exploded in size since. ME Andromeda had a bad reputation and even it sold 5 million. Actual space games like NMS, Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous hover around 1-2 million but having the Bethesda brand and story focus rakes in the normies.
Bethesda already saved 2020s gaming.
Do people actually care what Bethesda Softworks or other publishers do?
>Saved Gaming Saved Gaming Will Save
>in the 2000s in the 2010s Gaming in the 2020s
pure kuso
People who doubt Todd don't belong here. Just post your concerns on /lgbt/
Hey Todd guess what. I bought Skyrim only one time. Used.
JANNIES BAN HIMMMM
>Saved Gaming in the 2000s
correct
>Saved Gaming in the 2010s
more like destroyed gaming for a good while
>yfw you realize TES VII will probably out in 2028
Todd knows we'll need it then.
Skyrim didn't save anything. It's just a continuation of everything that was wrong with Oblivion, which is the game that killed triple-A role-playing games.
RPGs are better than ever after Skyrim, nothing was killed.
You are a brown console-owner.
No I've owned white and black ones only.
>implying Shitfield won't be delayed again
oh my sweet summer child
I’d be more interested if I hadn’t logged 10000h in their other rpgs over a lifetime. And the disrespect they showed me as a player of 76 was too much to bear. Still, the game looks good, but I know too well what to expect. It’ll take more than that to force an xbox on me.
The sour grapes from seething snoys over all of bethesdas games post-acquisition has been fun to witness. Starfield is going to be kino, just like all of Todd’s games have been.
How long until we have floppy penis mods?
