Only in mountain blade but that's on pc:^(
I had my players be mercenaries in a "not"-30 years war setting and they usually raided farmsteads for food and beer tho
Thats fricking rad
Also dumb question but since dinos are close to birds, would they have warm blood? Like the kind of homeostasis to keep it a consistent temp?

It's entirely unknowable. Small dinosaurs presumably must have had some way of maintaining their body temperature, but that could equally be basking behavior, constant muscular activity or a metabolic process, there's no way to know. Large dinosaurs probably didn't need to do that though.
I recently had a party raid another village to steal their local crocodile population and bring it back to their own village so that they could train up crocodile-riders for the militia. That's pretty close, right?
I ran an early iron age influenced fantasy setting a while back and one quest was about stealing back a magical cow from a farmer in the neighboring village. I probably stole the idea from King of Dragonpass, I love that game.
In our commoners game yes. Unfortunately my character was stupid enough to try and kidnap himself a wife, and after he carried her home she beat the shit out of him and robbed him of his few belongings before fleeing back home.
Should have just stolen livestock like the two farmer PCs.

Friendly reminder that every single motherfricking Glorantha thread is done by Ganker and /vr/tards trying to fit in by jerking off furiously to "old good, new bad", missing the memo their setting of choice was always unpractical and unfun to play, regardless of year.
Why the frick would we do that ?
To get cattle
Why not just steal money or valuables?
Why would farmers have money or valuables? You can trade 6 oxen or do for a sword.
Fair enough but have you ever gone raiding in a game?

Do not let the thunder oxen out of the pens.
Let Maran Gor handle them

Give them to our best warriors!

That sounds like a horrible idea
Crocodile domestication can't be that hard, they're just scaly amphibian dogs, right?
That's awesome.
Historically in some places wealth was basically measured by head of cattle and a single cow could be worth almost its weight in gold
Not, gold, not even silver(unless it was a very fien and special cow), but pretty close.
Is there any roleplaying game where you can roleplay as village council managing village business and shit?
So do we have anything as solid as the acturian heresy for argath like we do for many headed talos or not?

Sun God

Storm
Cattle rustling god
those sheep worship the devil.
Funny thing is, ACKS actually has detailed rules for cattle raiding.

Go back for her as she can give you mighty children
Never got the chance unfortunately, though she did say if he tried she'd kill him next time.
That's just a shit test, to see if he would face possible death for her.
Go forth and obtain your bride, anon.
Not cattle raiding, but my party has definitely raided.
Mage towers, mostly, but they're gearing up to go raid !england soon.
Of course. Magic won't work unless we get more cow guts for the gods.
How the FRICK do I get more cows?
Find a Haulostar or Minotaur monstergirl bride
Send in our best.
