And then you have to pay $1500+ to update it every few years when you want to play a new game. Consolechads stay winning and PCsisters stay seething. The natural order.

They have shittier PSUs but they dont use less electricity when running

Well in that case, you can save money by buying an XSX, XSS, PS5 used as well.

You pay for online and you pay for games though

A 750w powersupply does not constantly draw 750 watts. That just means thats the max amount of power it can output at any given time. Typically you want to go a bit higher than the needs of your computer because powersupplies have an efficiency curve like anything else. A lot of CPUs, particularly recent AMD, have stupidly low idle power consumption and only are like 20w or something when not under heavy load.

      shitposters gonna shitpost.

Honestly not a bad build and will be able to play just about anything on high settings if not better. For a build that everything is new thats pretty good. If they are willing to look into the used market they could do even better.

to anyone looking to build their own pc, ignore this troll. Even that build will be good for several years with the main thing that would need upgrading would be the ram, but even doubling that kit for another $30 and having 32gb would be super decent.

My main thought right now is trying to decide between a 3060 with 12 gigs and a 3060TI with 8 gigs. VRAM seems like a gigantic meme in most games and the TI is $70 cheaper.

VRAM is becoming a lot more important these days because AI shit and devs being really shit at optemizing. personally id go for a 12gb card for a bit more futureproofing/utility. However if the only thing you use your PC for is gaming and youtube then its not gonna make too big of a difference in the long run.

      >every few years
      8 years
If you spend $2k on a build that lasts you 8 years it only works out to $0.50 a day
Less when it consider that you reuse half of the parts either in your next build or to repurpose your old PC into something else

it still exists. it should be in the top 5 results when you google it. It did however rebrand to logical increments.

      https://www.logicalincrements.com/

Exact same layout and generally up to date. Keep in mind most people have never heard of it though and most people expect to be fricking spoonfed on everything these days. "Do my own research? Thats so annoying, ill just make a reddit thread"

It won't play games as well as a ps5, and it won't have the same length of support as they'll kill off making drivers for it long before the PS5 stops getting games. It's a very dumb idea getting a gaming pc.
