And then you have to pay $1500+ to update it every few years when you want to play a new game. Consolechads stay winning and PCsisters stay seething. The natural order.
>dumbass on Ganker doesnt know how electricity works
A 750w powersupply does not constantly draw 750 watts. That just means thats the max amount of power it can output at any given time. Typically you want to go a bit higher than the needs of your computer because powersupplies have an efficiency curve like anything else. A lot of CPUs, particularly recent AMD, have stupidly low idle power consumption and only are like 20w or something when not under heavy load.
Honestly not a bad build and will be able to play just about anything on high settings if not better. For a build that everything is new thats pretty good. If they are willing to look into the used market they could do even better.
to anyone looking to build their own pc, ignore this troll. Even that build will be good for several years with the main thing that would need upgrading would be the ram, but even doubling that kit for another $30 and having 32gb would be super decent.
My main thought right now is trying to decide between a 3060 with 12 gigs and a 3060TI with 8 gigs. VRAM seems like a gigantic meme in most games and the TI is $70 cheaper.
VRAM is becoming a lot more important these days because AI shit and devs being really shit at optemizing. personally id go for a 12gb card for a bit more futureproofing/utility. However if the only thing you use your PC for is gaming and youtube then its not gonna make too big of a difference in the long run.
>every few years
8 years
If you spend $2k on a build that lasts you 8 years it only works out to $0.50 a day
Less when it consider that you reuse half of the parts either in your next build or to repurpose your old PC into something else

Now go check the prices of each item yourself. They are all way more expensive. And that's without mentioning this build is lacking sufficient cooling. That shit's gonna burn like an oven for cooking israelites.
>lacking sufficient cooling >t. moron who has no idea what the frick hes talking about
The stock heatsync and included case fans will be more than find for that build.
it still exists. it should be in the top 5 results when you google it. It did however rebrand to logical increments.
https://www.logicalincrements.com/
Exact same layout and generally up to date. Keep in mind most people have never heard of it though and most people expect to be fricking spoonfed on everything these days. "Do my own research? Thats so annoying, ill just make a reddit thread"
As an entry level gaming PC, yeah. I probably wouldn't go with such cheap RAM though, you'll spend more replacing it later. Does the B550M have nvme slots?
It won't play games as well as a ps5, and it won't have the same length of support as they'll kill off making drivers for it long before the PS5 stops getting games. It's a very dumb idea getting a gaming pc.
my headphones cost more than that
but i'm also gaming just fine on 8 years old laptop that used to be like 1k back then, i'm sure a $600 rig nowadays beats it
And then you have to pay $1500+ to update it every few years when you want to play a new game. Consolechads stay winning and PCsisters stay seething. The natural order.
It costs you $150 a year to play online
I don't play multiplayer games because I'm not a seething moron. So I play for free.
>I'm not a seething moron
lol
>no counterargument
lol
Now go play your PC exclusives PCrolapser.
It costs more for your electricity bill
>doesnt have a computer anyway
>consoles are magic and dont use electricity
What a moron
Consoles use significantly less electricity tard, easy google search
They have shittier PSUs but they dont use less electricity when running
You pay for online and you pay for games though
>They have shittier PSUs but they dont use less electricity when running
Nope, already tested and PC is significantly more electricity
Maybe on windows but definitely not on linux
>dumbass on Ganker doesnt know how electricity works

Spoken like a true virgin. You probably have a $3000 pc you never play and have no friends or gf.
>using virgin as an insult
>on Ganker
ah, so you're a virgin who doesnt even own a pc, probably just a stolen xbox series s
It’s a low blow and an easy target i don’t care. Maybe if you weren’t a dick you’d have sex.
You can save $100 on the cpu and $60 on the motherboard by buying used. I also got a 6700XT at the same price as his 6600.
Well in that case, you can save money by buying an XSX, XSS, PS5 used as well.
It's legit. But both PSU and Case are utter trash. Get thermaltake gx2 and phanteks g300a.
Looks perfectly usable to me.
Seems okish.id swap the rysen 5 for an 8 core cpu. Is that gpu good?
>Reddit says
stay there

That'd be nice but it comes with only one fan
What happened to the Falcon guide? Does that not exist anymore so people are forced to go to Leddit for build shit?
it still exists. it should be in the top 5 results when you google it. It did however rebrand to logical increments.
