that not pepe
source?
i love that pepe, can anyone share it with me? 😀
If the person in the video is reading this, frick you
i still cant tell if thats a man or not
tell me your game and I will look at it
I'll do one better. Tell me your game and I will positively review it.
Hopefully those reviews are actually full of criticism that you can use to grow anon. I'm rooting for you and I believe people like you will revive the gaming industry!
Thank you.
It's a relatively simple rpg. I learned alot but it also cost me alot more than it made back. I did everything except the audio, had to pay someone to make some audio for my game.
All in all spend about 850 bucks and made around 40 bucks minus 30% valve tip. Though i didn't make it for the money, would've been nice to make something that I made myself that made people enjoy themselves.
make every character a titcow, trust me on this
Two right hands
Did you enjoy making it or the end result, yourself?
Also, for what it's worth, people are more likely to be vocal about stuff they dislike, so chances are that someone out there enjoyed your game at least a bit.
The process of making something out of nothing is rewarding but also alot of the times frustrating. Mostly the programming stuff makes me want to bang my head against the wall.
I sometimes don't know why it doesn't work and when it works I don't even know why it works when I look back at my code.
There was 1 positive review so atleast there was one person that enjoyed it.
get a team next time, this is what happens when you make something by yourself.
>this is what happens when you make something by yourself
How can you say that without even knowing what faults, if any, his game has?
any faults the game had could have been pointed out by a team member, assuming you had competent people on board.
Sir, exactly what game have you developed with a team, and what role did you have on the team?
I wanted to learn it and do it myself mostly on my own pace mostly because I can't afford to do it fulltime. Now that I know how to make something I feel more comfortable joining a team next time.
You didn’t honestly expect to make 1000 dollars back did you anon? Come the frick on homosexual, I’ve spent thousands on audio equipment for my hobby of music production which I just enjoy and seek no compensation or praise for. Sounds like you’re not a real artist so with that good luck in your artistic endeavor bud.
Give me a key and I'll give it a shot and review it
You could have chosen to make ANY game, and you chose to make a bad one. Nice job.
Frick'em
Did you come close to realizing the games as you had envisioned them?
Did you have fun learning and developing?
Tell me about your games
what framework?
should have added porn
Thanks for playing.
Keep trying anon, I believe in (you)
Post game, I'll buy it right now.
If you don't want to post it, at least give me a clue so I can find it on steam before I go to bed.
ok ok, it's elden ring
I don't think OP made it but Super Dream Dasher was made by a Gankerirgin.
>that one review with 123 hours while the rest have 10 at most
I wonder how it feels to be a dev and see one person with a hugely inflated playtime
Honor, and respect. A game in the traditional sense is a very simple concept. To make a person fully engrossed in your rules is a triumph that should be celebrated reguardless of success.
I did that with my friends game. His game wasn't very good but I mostly inflated my hours by leaving the game runningin the background to make him feel happier about his game.
That's really sad dude, but if he's your friend then I guess it's okay. You should allude to him at some point that his game isn't very good.
Hey anon, I'm sorry you game sucks, or doesn't get noticed. Sometimes life sucks like that. I hope you get more success in the future. Congrats on following through, making the product and a getting it to market. Better luck next time.
Post the game, its not like you have anything to lose ...
years learning how to make game and another 3 to actually make one
This is one of the reasons why I'm afraid to even start gamedeving. I'll be in my late 30s - early 40s probably before I have something worthwhile to show.
Do you have anything better to do?
I have a full-time job running family business, that eats away at my soul and robs me of my free time. I wouldn't call it "better", but it is what I do, I guess.
Good games aren't always successful and successful games aren't always good. Keep grinding.
I know the feeling fren. It sucks to have no one notice your efforts. Give me a key or at least a link to the game and I'll be sure to give you frenly feedback.
Still waiting for OP to post a link to his game
don't fret anon, you now have the skillset that few have, don't wallow in pity and learn what you can from this experience to make your name gaem better, it only goes up from here
Maybe start small before investing years into a first attempt?
Nobody's gonna discover your game, if you don't advertise it, no matter how good it actually is.
Even now you are failing to show what you actually made. Or you are just playing coy and baiting for (you)s and sympathetic headpats.
It's not shilling if people ask you to show your game, so stop being a daft c**t, and let us laught at your shitty game you spent years making.
Time to git gud and try it again, anon. Masterpieces aren't made in one or even a few tries, usually. What exactly did the reviews point out as flaws, if anything was pointed out at all? Do you understand why they would say something like that if they did? Have you thought about what you could do to fix what was pointed out? Have you thought about your game design in general, and places that you feel like you could do better in?
And of course, the most important part. Do you feel like you were true to what you had wanted to make in the first place?
Black person post the fricking link
That's why you put your game through qa you dumb frog poster.
What you're making is just as important as your ability to make it.
>50 posts later
>still no link
Use this opportunity to learn and get better. Your next game will be even better if you do that. Then do it again and again. Eventually you will make a great game. No one creates a masterpiece on their first try.
there is no game is there and OP is larping
