Gee, I sure do love when I'm about to win a match within the first minute but then one of the opponents DCs and the match gets canceled.
It's happened to me twice today and nothing fills me with more rage.
I hate how it happens against me and most of the time not for me
Not even when you’re about to win, I have people disconnect just from losing the initial skirmish.
Losing is generally so low stakes in this game that I can't imagine being tilted to the point of ragequitt8ng. Games last five minutes max so it's not like your investing huge amounts of time into a gsme to even ger thar upset over.

maybe in turf or open, but series and especially X are very high stakes, if someone ragequits on my side due to us losing I honestly appreciate it
It's why I stopped playing Splatoon at all. Great game, but the netcode is so shit. I played Splatoon 2 for hundreds of hours, bought 3 thinking it'd be fixed, then didn't even get past a dozen hours on that title.

I stopped playing this game with randoms when I got S+ back in September 2022 it was atrocious then and I only beat all the splat 2 vets cause I was lucky.

Which is pretty much the exact opposite of how Octo Expansuon went, really awesome regular levels and a pretty shit """final boss"""" that amounted to little more than (an admittedly pretty cool) spectacle with no substance.

People say that but I rather enjoyed it and thought it made for a really nice and fitting end to the expansion. Not just saying this out of blind octo loyatly, I replayed it before SO released and still had fun. Perhaps not a huge fight but felt really appropriate and grandiose.

Rage is less about winning or losing in my case and more about personal performance and constantly getting shitty teammates.
Its a shit game with shit matchmaking. It values speed finding a game rather then balance. It is more then happy to put you on a team of 3 shitters against an enemy team of 4 averages players if the MMR evens out. And best of all you'll still be rewarded with absolutely nothing if you lose. I don't get why people play anything other then SR in this game.

Freelancing in 2 sucks. You start at 00 of your current rank and if you lose 1 game for whatever reason, you get demoted. I thought getting up to profreshional 400 would improve the players a bit, but not really.
Not much has changed in 3. You'd think getting gold badges would be grounds for being able to reliably find decent players, and you get morons regardless. Hell, I've found idiots in the 900s, nowhere is safe.

YOU'RE FRICKING WELCOME. And yeah, they changed the trajectory in 3 from 2. In 3 I have to aim slightly above to hit with the missile's arc. In 2, the reticle already compensates for that so it hits right where it says it will.

I've played with that "newb" before, multiple times. They've consistently bad. The other guy has 5000+ hours in splatoon 2, only 865 in 3. Seems like he likes 2 more.

Now I work more hours, have a waif, responsibilities. Not only does that mean less time for S3, but also, less time to game at all.
Often I only play one or two matches, get my bonus, then swap games. Do I dislike S3? no, but I also want to play other games in my fleeting few hours.
Also ive played it near daily for a year and the updates have been small, maps bad, so im less enthused to keep up the hours.
