The game just went from decent to amazing. I actually love the difficulty, it feels perfect. They did a whole lot else too, it's an entirely new game god damn.
I saw some people here say they enjoyed this game so I figured I'd mention this update. Also feel free to pirate it, I did not buy this game, but it's 30% off for $10 on steam if you want to
bro they just added wall running its just like quake!!! movement arena fps!!!!
it's a single player focused game with multiple bosses. closest recent thing would be Titanfall 2 campaign. also bullet time
thats amazing! it's just like a call of duty clone. now that is movement fps gaming.
what makes COD so shitty is the lack of strafe speed (read: combat speed) and no enemy variety (or level design)
it's a bad parkour game with a tired aesthetic and bad shooting
this bandaid isn't going to fix this absolute slop
I didn't think it was great until now. I went from about to delete it to playing it all night. the difficulty is actually quite refreshing after so many FPS games centered around either piss easy or one shot aim botting for difficulty options. and it's simply not a bandaid, if anything I think most of this was planned for the release but for whatever reason it didn't get finished in time because, as mentioned before, there is no fricking way the devs finished all this in the few weeks the game has been out. 1.0 update is a more accurate name than 1.2, that's why I made this whole post. I pirated this shit anyway though, for the low price of free it's very worth it.
>pirated the update
yeah sure, minute one too
game's so in demand that that is to be expected
this is pathetic
It's not minute one, frickface. Just checked the russian forum, and it's up.
>indie game devs have reached so low a point that they often openly promote piracy over game sales!
who believes this shit? I know some devs have done this but those were special cases where the game was so niche it'd never be played without being free somehow and the steam price was more like a suggested donation amount.
This update adds a Horde mode too. it's seems like the game was released a bit before being finished because the amount of content added must have taken a long time to make, much longer than the games been out.
This game looks awesome but I don't have the money to get it yet but I will soon
you can pirate the newest update if you don't want to wait.
post a cool webm when you shill your game, devbro
devs don't tell you to pirate, most of the time at least. My laptop won't let me record this game smoothly, yea I'm playing on a 2015 thinkpad. It runs great though. The pictures on steam are honestly pretty shit, none of them are even in the air where you should spend most the game.
>devs don't tell you to pirate
actually they do in order to hide the fact theyre a shill. everyone knows you can pirate a game, but the devs think mentioning this fact will help them not get called out.
lmao it's so sad how some people on here never believe that someone would want to actually post about an obscure game. This is supposedly the 10th game I've made this year, I'm putting in some serious work!
the tutorial is literally a wall running obstacle course over bottomless pits you moron.
crying "shill" boils down to pic related
I will take a thread of a dev shilling their indie game over AAA goyslop any day of the week, at least the indie has a chance to not be complete dogshit
Agreed.
Small business ads are always more wholesome. Dev jusy wants people to try his game, posts in on a video game forum, some people try it and buy it. Others don't. Simple as.
Except when they lie about it.
Like here.
The game is derivative slop and everything out of the dev's mouth is an excuse or an outright lie.
>charming
Sure, yeah whatever you say dude.
I was just memeing when I said shill, but for games most people haven't seen it's hard to tell what it's about without a video
this is the best I could do, it's late and I cba to frick with settings lol. It's not much, really it's not enough but it's here so enjoy.
oh my God that looks so bad lol. you can kinda get the idea though.
ah yeah I see why you didn't want to do a webm, game looks fun though
Adding movement mechanics to a game that was not made with those movement mechanics in mind is worthless. Everything from the enemies to the level design needs to be redone in order for this to matter.
the game has always been about movement mechanics, it went from 2 wall jumps to 3 and increased the slide speed.
>game is always about movement mechanics
>you can uhh... jump off a wall and slide
Boring fricking troll who doesn't know jackshit about the game
I don't understand the intent of posters on this board when it comes to obscure indies. what drives someone to make up random shit and hate on a game for their delusions and claim only shills would post about a game most haven't heard of. Notch would be turned away by nu-Ganker and for what reason? so we can save space for more reposted threads? I don't get it, although most here aren't that bad.
What's all this then?
new obscure single player indie movement shooter with tons of sliding, and wall running and jumping and flying over enemies heads, slowing down time and popping off their heads. I'd love to post a webm but I can't record one on this laptop.
>movement
I'm pretty sure because the appeal of the tactic is for people looking for shortcuts to a higher k/d over the less informed and not out of a desire for a new style of play. That's why it goes viral in generic shooters everyone plays.
I keep seeing "this is Arena shooters, we're RETVRNING" but none of this design commits to that bit, they're all stuttering half-steps for people who want a keyboard shortcut to winning the pseudo-military sim that every game blends into. It's a jealous design.
We've seen anyway that when given the chance to play an arena shooter this audience quickly loses interest, the market is not in movement, it's in diet pills for gaming skill.
Sweaty" play in itself is not a problem, I think people actually like the idea of sweaty play under certain contexts and part of the problem is that there's no sorting mechanism for audiences to find like minded people anymore.
But there's always a type who's main interest is not in any particular style of play, but in the feeling that he's really good at video games, and this sensation is more important to them than the game actually being "like" anything and these are psychological gambling addicts.
This type of person was already going to play your game no matter what by virtue of it being online. We don't really get more distinct design across the board we get this universal ADS shortcut hybrid who's main purpose is producing hit sounds.
this is chat-gpt right? the game is entirely single player.
>Female protagonist
dropped
>no demo
welp
is there actually a significant amount of people on here that can't figure out how to pirate games?
>work for something you don't want
demo or frick off, i'm the client, you're the merchant
chop chop frickbag
The game is great, but for some reason I can only seem to play it in short bursts. I can't figure out why.
Yea I get this too, I think it's because the very fast pace gameplay feels intense enough that I need a break before wanting more.
the updates been out for a week you troglodyte
dev her- *cough* sorry, I meant OP here. I'm off to bed but I hope those interested enjoy the game, I sure do. Cheers
