it runs like mega dogshit. I was really excited for it but it was completely unplayable on a 1060 - which admittedly is an ancient card, but it runs similar modern games fine.
Haven't tried it since I've upgraded.
Yes. It's genuinely a 7/10 game if you use the actually meaning of the score "A good game, solidly above average" as oppossed to what most people believe a 7/10 means: "this game is unplayable dogshit that should have never developed."
Hopefully they fix the completely fricked story telling style of the original.
Playing what is essentially 8 disjointed games were seven of your characters don't even exist outside of battle sucked.
Square could sell the rights to the Luminous engine. It has produced 2 stinkers (FFXV and Forespoken) and no one else wants to use it (like Nomura moving away from that crap during KH3's development)
I'll never forgive the end of ffrk, I know it's still active in Japan, but I don't feel like jumping through the hoops to play it
Also, I do look forward to the pixel remaster switch port and octopath 2
I wish TWEWY NEO had Forspoken's marketing investment and vice versa. I legit think it would've helped both games out. I actually liked the core gameplay of forspoken, though it has severe flaws that hamper it from being truly fantastic. But it feels like the hype and marketing just killed whatever schizo dev cycle this game had. Shit sucks man
>hmm what should we name this >well the game is kinda a day in the life ya know? >you can also do various things in it >wait a sec i think i have an idea
Look at that ugly homosexual.
Out of touch as frick and he knows it but doesn't care.
Your typical moronic CEO.
The kind that ends the company's lifeline because he was too fricking stupid to pay attention to anything outside of his own delusions and bullshit.
This is why I haven't bought a Square Enix games since FFX on the PS2.
Have some standards, Ganker. The only reasons they keep making this slop is because you buy it. I only play their good shit, which came out mostly on the SNES.
on one hand I like that they're releasing a lot of stuff, but on the other the results speak for themselves with them releasing mostly turds, they really need better management for these projects, if they play their cards right they could be on to a golden age of releases
I feel like this is something AAA studios should ideally do, break up into smaller teams and release more manageable projects spearheaded by a competent and talented director that has a clear vision and passion for what they're working on, just imagine a huge AAA studio splitting up and putting out multiple bangers in the vein of hi fi rush over the course of a single year, way better than spending 10 years with 3000 employees on bloated garbage like realistic horse ball shrinkage on the winter
Whoever is in charge of the decisions needs to just get the frick out buy Japs have the worst fricking seniority issues out of anyone else.
Seriously, the Japanese Boomer is a truly pathetic creature. Not even their fricking grandchildren want anything to do with them.
How many old japs die alone is palpable.
They deserve it, though.
Babylon and forespoken are the only bad games
t. SEshill
look at this screenshot and tell me
Looks kino
Buying now
>SOP shills
>meaningless buzzwords like "kino" and "soul"
name a more iconic duo
I'm pirating 2 times so they lose your shill money.
I'm buying 3 copies so nice try.
forspoken?
more like speakin to a voice in my head all the fricking time
Isn't Jack's game pretty good though?
yeah, it's just a slightly worse Nioh
How's the performance in pc? I want to play some cringekino

that is what Forespoken feels like
At least Live A Live was good
>managed to not completely frick up a basic remaster of a game from 30 years ago
Not exactly an accomplishment
Triangle Strategy was also good, people seems to forget all about it.
I loved Octopath but TS' demo was so boring I didn't bother with the full game
Hey OP where's Endwalker?
>where's a shitty mmo that alienates mots of your consumer base by merit of being an mmo
yeah gee, idk.
Sorry where's triangle strategy?
damn I kinda predicted that 65 score, but I think it can go even lower
Our time is now Octopath chads
Hopefully they fix the completely fricked story telling style of the original.

I'm still sickeningly upset at how they handled 1's characters
What were they thinking? That anyone who matters wouldn't recruit all 8?
Frick you give me Bravely Thrid
They`ll go bankrupt after FFXVI release for sure.
they'll stay afloat no matter what thanks to XIV
Based morons allowing Square to operate infinitely because they buy fantasias to ERP with different races every week
>shovelware tier trash
Yeah typical of squeenix
If Square has to at least sell more IPs, who would you want to buy them?
Square could sell the rights to the Luminous engine. It has produced 2 stinkers (FFXV and Forespoken) and no one else wants to use it (like Nomura moving away from that crap during KH3's development)
>Best game on there is Jack's game
Deserved and lol
>implying
its a fricking remaster of an emulator game you can get for free which is bad btw because the remmaster censored things.
I'll never forgive the end of ffrk, I know it's still active in Japan, but I don't feel like jumping through the hoops to play it

people should have bought NEO: TWEWY. If only SE informed people of its existence

Various Daylife always cracks me up. Who thought that was a good name lmao
>hmm what should we name this
>well the game is kinda a day in the life ya know?

Front Mission was fun so frick you op

I dont. It could be very kino.
homosexual post
What have we learned here today class?
Don't post in barry threads?
critics are fricking braindead
critics dont matter only users and sometimes because othertimes they are bots
Make a good game you get good ratings? I hope your not implying it's related to Nintendo when 2/3 of those are on PC.
That you can still make good games on smaller budgets.
jack's game was my goty last year, I just wish it was on PC for real so I could have played with friends

Reminder that Forspoken was suppose to be the next Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. It was apparently the CEO's personal pet project.
Was letting western writers scribble all over it part of his passion project too?
how did that happen anyways? I remember seeing an image posted here seemingly earlier in development with a completely different main character
I can tell.
Heh. They spend 5+ years with a staff of 200 or so people working on it. Plus all the advertising they did on it. It was a complete failure.
Did Chrono Cross ever get patched?
Add LEFT ALIVE to that list
and Avengers, and Balan Wonderworld, and Outriders
be nice
Dont worry, dq3hd, a few months of that saga gacha income and xiv subs will make up for all of it
