Emil and Todd are both fricking morons that have no clue what they are doing. The assets that exist within Starfield prove that it could be a perfectly solid 8/10 even with its subpar writing. I feel bad for everyone that worked on this shit because all the pieces were there to make something decent.
But no all that hard work has to go to waste because lil toddy and his pet manchild boytoy had a vision that was completely half-baked.
They are learning animals. They wanted to have outpost building be necessary for exploration. They wanted to force you to set up He3 farms to reach the farther planets.
They have been listening to the idiotic part of the fan base for so long it is good they are wising up
Emil is the one who makes Todd dumb, he wasnt like this in morrowind, daggerfall, or redguard. Ever since Emil joined the team, all bethesda products turn to shit, that homie emil have Touch of Hindu

Now adjust those sales for Industry market size, moron. Selling 10 million copies used to be an unthinkable success in the 90s, now we have games made by 1-3 people that have sold more than that.

I'd honestly be very glad if Microsoft stopped that hands-off cuck approach and started straightening up their studios. Bethesda is currently a fricking failure, and they're hogging 2 of the best IPs in gaming history for no good reason.

Speaking of morons.
Fallout 1 and 2 were barely blips in the game industry. Bethesda made Fallout what it is not the other way around.
I haven't played Arena but Daggerfall is the worst video game ever made. Morrowind was a step in the right direction but a mediocre game. It wasn't until Oblivionand Skyrim that TES hit its stride.

Fallout was relevant to the point that Power Armor and Perk points were added to a shitload of vidya.
Bethesda made Fallout into a braindead franchise for mass appeal and merchandise, which is ironic considering what stuff like Vault Boy stoos for.
Wizardry was also barely a blip and essentially created the JRPG genre, so your popularity contest is meaningless.
The facts are that Bethesda games lack quality and Todd picked up legacy IPs and turned them into shit for morons, and now his own IP is shat on by his community of morons.

You not understanding the Fallout franchise is apparent.
Your complaint is akin to going to a basketball game and complaining it is the worst soccer match you ever watched.
You are technically correct but the error is on your end.
Microsoft is anything but hands off, look at Lionhead and Rare or any other studio under them.
Starfield was the lasr game developed by Bethesda themselves.
If ES6 disappoints in similar fashion I can see MS pulling another 343i by firing tons of people.
That's exactly what's going to happen and I'll just be sitting down and laughing at the bemoaning of all their drones.
I doubt Microsoft will want 6 year development cycles either so you'll probably see more games in the Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises by other companies.
Most will also likely be shit due to Microsofts piss poor management.
>Lionhead and Rare
That was ages ago where different people were at the helm. Phil and his team are afraid to tell people what to do, else they wouldn't have released the turd that was Redfall.

Redfall was in development way before Microsoft acquired Bethesda. >Phil is afraid of telling people what to do
The Coalition and 343 did exactly what they said and you'll see Bethesda and every studio under them get fricked soon.
inXile and Obsidian are going to get absolute fricked as well once that Bioshock clone, Clockwork, and Outer Worlds 2 and Avowed take a frickton of time to make due to Microsofts management and then fail to make a hefty profit.
Give it 6 years and all these companies are going to be ran into the ground by Microsoft.

That doesn't matter. They acquired them and had power over them way before Redfall was pushed through the door. If they had any balls they would've canned the fricking game after seeing it in the studio. If I remember correctly some devs even said that they wished MS to do just that because they knew the game was shit.
I want the same thing as you but I just don't see MS being hardasses, atleast not yet.

Yes everybody else is wrong and you are the only special one.
Microsoft shouldn't allow for that possibility to exist, they can't take another risk like that with Bethesda. These people are clearly incompetent. Game releases in 2023 and has no FOV slider. It's fricking insulting.
>343-like studio in charge of TES 6
So, led by the janitor, half-composed of people handpicked for the studio because they hate TES, and still given no oversight and being allowed to release anything they want, including so many lore retcons that make Skyrim look like a simple typo pass?
I'd rather it die, honestly.
for me it's the dev reaction that shows they don't even understand how it can't be loved. between the jeets making up shitty responses to steam reviews, emil losing it on twitter and todd's "your pc suck" comment they clearly got bruised hard.
Oh yea, I forgot. The 550 million people who are on gamepass only play starfield right? And we can't compare it with other games like skyrim that is also on gamepass, because only starfield if played almost exclusively on gamepass, no other game is.
starfield claims to have hit like 10-12 mil players
that's like half the people who already had gamepass in 2022 trying it for even just a few minutes
and none of them paid for the game
Probably worse with goypass.
Since people didn't pay full price to play Tardfield on goypass, they have no buyer's remorse forcing them to spend time playing a $70 game to cope.
certainly doesn't help that they chose possibly the most boring "aesthetic" for a space exploration game I've ever seen. >no dude you don't get it, its SUPPOSED to be bland and empty, just like the moon IRL
at least no man's sky had the decency to fricking LIE to me about how boring it would be.
I was actually into the idea, but I thought that they would have intelligent aliens be the big shocker reveal at the end. But no, they asked a bunch of questions, gave you ng+ and gave you an atta boy and a slap on the ass.
I am starting to suspect you are not being sincere, fren.
I can see why you'd think that, but rather than sarcasm, I was simply being extremely honest about my thought process. It's self-awareness.
the problem is that the game is spaghetti coded so badly there isn't much you can mod in without fundamental rewrites of the code.
and who is gonna put effort in a game like that when no man's sky pretty much does everything starfield promised to do much better? it even has a better story
Space is fricking boring unless you're discovering alien cultures or fricked up weird planets like in Outer Wilds. Hopefully Starfield will be the first and last time NASA punk is ever tried.
This. Even deep immersion space sims like Elite and Star Citizen suffer from this. Space exploration is exciting in real life but it does not translate to video games in the same way. Space fantasy like Barbarella, Flash Gordon and Battle Beyond the Stars continue to be a largely untapped resource for space sims/rpg.
>Bethesda finally getting the wake up call that they cant keep releasing these dogshit no effort games using the same engine over and over again
its hilarious that they thought they would get away with this again Starfield is like a game from 2015 and thats not an exaggeration it feels so fricking outdated
>steam
????????????????????
why would even 1 person play this on steam, if its for free on gamepass?
can we see how many people play this shit game on gamepass? THAT would be the final nail to the bethesda coffin, steam numbers mean NOTHING.
where can i get gamepass numbers?
>where can i get gamepass numbers?
Nowhere, this is the closest thing:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/most-played/games/xbox
More people on Xbox are playing the full-priced BG3 and fricking RDR2 than Starfield
>1$
i ask again, WHY would anybody buy starshit on steam.
Legendary RPG does not mean it is a good game. Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines is considered a legendary RPG. It was a game so bad it killed Troika.
>Legendary RPG does not mean it is a good game.
it does. >Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines is considered a legendary RPG.
because it is.
There are "people" that are paying for gaypass since 2017.
like even if some of it was $1 most of it would be $10 monthly.
Imagine giving $700+ to microshit and owning nothing.
one thing to spot a normalgay is how much they gush about "value". they always talk about stuff like "duuude i get hundreds of games for 10 bucks" and maybe play two or three in a year, by which point they would've probably spent less buying them individually.
reminds me discussions with people on f2p monetization where people would take "dude you pay 40 to get a skin and a free battlepass and coins, that's like 100 dollars of stuff! how can you say it's a ripoff?" even tho the value of that stuff is one cosmetic, monopoly money and a bunch of cosmetics you don't know about yet.
[...] >pay 70$ for starshit on steam
or >pay 1$ to get gamepass >nobody is playing starshit on steam >acts surprised
starshit is utter trash but spamming steam numbers wont make anybody butthurt.
other bethesda games are similarly on gamepass and still have many more active players and many games sold well despite also being on the battlepass. starfield was one of the most preordered games on steam too
> The game was so good the company went out of business like a proper RPG studio.
All the greats do it. Troika, Black Isle Studio, etc
They aren't like those loser studios making money and feeding their families.
>have the subscription already for unrelated reasons >"oh hey a new game, let's try it" >it sucks >still counts as a "purchase"
now if we had numbers on people who bought the pass and immediately played starfield that'd be a more valuable metric. even then
>1$
i ask again, WHY would anybody buy starshit on steam.
[...] >Legendary RPG does not mean it is a good game.

to be fair the point is roping you in, even if you pay $1 for starfield, hate it but keep on the subscription on then it was worth it for them

As soon as I heard that Starfield is supposed to have NASApunk aesthetics my only reaction was "why?"
Or rather: why didn't they go for early Expanse style single star system? It could be our own Solar system with different factions being different planets fighting for power vacuum after Earth got wrecked. It could be some other handmade star system, with excuse that whatever wormhole connected us with Earth broke down so we are kinda stuck here.
That way aesthetics and world wouldn't clash as much, especially if it's our own solar system.
But I guess that would require coherent design, and Bethesda wanted to flex their ability to generate empty worlds, so here we are.
>base your game on a 20+ years old engine barely held together by tape after two decades of tackled-on "upgrades" >base your magnum opus on fricking Fallout 76 of all things >diversity hires bloat it to the point entry level hardware can't handle it >"why is nobody playing Starfield?"
The brainfog from all the insulin resistance was the source of inspiration. After he fixed his body, his mind cleared up, and he realized there was nothing in it to begin with.
Tardfield has like 35-40 faction quests compared to Morrowind's >330 faction quests. Don't start talking about the complexity of both games, quests rely purely on writing skills, especially bethesda quests that have little interactivity and are fetch quests with text wrapped around.

I missed a comma anon, I'm saying they can't use Gamebryo competently and they've been using that shit for decades.
No way they can adapt and start using a new engine without fricking it up.
They better start learning to use a new engine, or hiring new people, because this shit has run its course at least 4 games ago. Not even TES6 is going to be able to save them if it's just Skyrim but with a slight facelift.
Anon, it's fricking over
Bethesda is done, they're like Creative Assembly, nepotism and stagnation and shitting out half assed glued together with spit titles.
Their super long development cycles is telling and that's going to be over with Miccrosoft because it's stupidly long and expensive for very little return, even moreso with Starfields reception being lukewarm at best.
I doubt they can stop the use of Gamebryo or the development cycles without firing galf the compangy though, they'll probably do that and outsource even more than Bethesda did for Starfield.
While the engine is quite "open", the modding capabilities do not come from Betheda but from 20 years of modding Gamebryo and the Creation Engine.
You won't go far in creation engine modding without a script extender and its plugins like PapyrusUtil, JContainers and FISSES. Why? Because only those plugins can add new native functions (in the hundreds by now) and essential stuff like serializable arrays, maps, etc. Without FISSES, MCM Settings would not exist, because only this plugin allows the creation engine to reload variables dynamically on the disk without forcing you to reload a save or restart the game. Yes, you read it, most mods wouldn't exist if they solely relied on a raw creation engine or the creation kit. Most functionalities were added by modders for modders, not by bethesda.
That's why for the moment you mostly have asset and variable swap in Starfield. Without a proper script extender and adequate tools to mod the creation engine, it's barely more moddable than Unreal. The difference being that CE can be extended with user made code, that's all, but the mods and the tools to make those mods were created by the community.
Now even with these tools, modding the creation engine is not easy by any means, and if you've ever used the creation kit, you'd know that it's full of bugs and crashes a lot. Creating quests, stories and placing NPCs isn't particularly easy either.
That's fair, but Oblivion was their first foray into a console only title and Fallout 3 was their first foray into a Fallout 3 title.
People expected improvement, but instead we got even more dumbing down.
The loading screens last for less than 1 seconds like a flash of lightning. Maybe you need to improve your computer but you probably can't afford one lol
I'll never understand why people like trying to hate things so much. Especially when it comes down to using things that don't even matter as measurements to support it.
It's a joke anon, relax, I don't even care about No Man's Sky.
Want to know why I personally hate Starfield? Cause they just had to mix Elite Dangerous and Skyrim and they didn't, instead they tried to reinvent the wheel and failed miserably. So you have up before the game becomes great? Lmao imagine being this stupid. That's like going to the Disney world entrance then turning around.
There must have been a big meeting during development where the entire story and world is laid bare and they decided to put the giant galaxy wide war and shit into the past and you fly around in a neutral peace zone all the time.

They made the IPs what they are. You just have shitty taste in games.
The people who made the IPs what they are, aren't working at bethesda anymore. People make games, not the name of the studio, moron.
> Only the first game matters
Speaking of morons.
Fallout 1 and 2 were barely blips in the game industry. Bethesda made Fallout what it is not the other way around.
I haven't played Arena but Daggerfall is the worst video game ever made. Morrowind was a step in the right direction but a mediocre game. It wasn't until Oblivionand Skyrim that TES hit its stride.
>Fallout 1 and 2 were barely blips in the game industry.
who told you that?
a twitter post with 3 retweets?
these are literally one of the few existing most legenadary and awesome RPG's ever made, up there with Baldurs Gate 2, KOTOR and Witcher 3.
Legendary RPG does not mean it is a good game. Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines is considered a legendary RPG. It was a game so bad it killed Troika.
>It was barely a blip in thr gayman industry
So were STALKER, Unreal Tournament and Cave Story and those are still some of the best games ever made.
They all suck. Your childhood was awful.
>Fallout
Black Isle
>Elder Scrolls
Christopher Weaver and LeFay
Todd didn't make shit, Todd picked up other peoples legacy ran them into the ground for mass appeal.
>Made him into what they are today
Dead and shit?
Fallout 1 and 2 sold around 300k between them. It was a dead franchise from the get go. Bethesda saved it from the scrapheap and made it into something.
>Fallout 1 and 2 sold around 300k between them.
30 years ago that was a gigantic worlwide mind shattering success.
No it wasn't. Baldurs Gate selling over a million was a big deal. Fallout 1 selling 125k was an afterthought.
>No it wasn't.
yes it was, dont argue with me, im right.
>morons comparing game sales from 30 years ago to today
have a nice day.
> Stop proving me wrong.
No. When compared actual big games of the time period it was released Fallout comes up short.
Bethesda made Fallout relevant.
Bethesda killed Fallout, people responsible for selling the franchise to this moronic company should be shot.
This is actually all Brian Fargo's fault if you didn't know. Long story short, he was a dogshit boss, and he made one of the greatest devs who worked on fallout leave, leading to the collapse of black isle.
%3D
Also, Tim Cain leaving, caused more devs to leave btw, so it was a big disaster for the company.
jesus, now thats just making me mad.
i played F1+2 like a thousand times, these games are fricking awesome, and i cant force myself to replay F3 or NV more than once.
They killed it by making it beloved by
tens of millions of fans? To think the original devs were sitting on a gold mine if they just had an ounce of competence.
Did BIS go out of business right after Fallout 2 or did they limp along a while longer?
>Completely misunderstands the setting and dumbs it down to "50s were silly and capitalism bad Mkay?"
But at least it's beloved by redditors worldwide!
Unlike the originals which were beloved by nobody.
>Popular = Good
Sure thing buddy
Going out of business is a sign of quality though?
BIS and Troika must be your all time favorite studios.
>Bethesda made Fallout relevant.
> Fallout invented power armor.
Starship Troopers had power armor. That came out in 1959. That may not even have been the first time power armor was described.
Fallout as an IP was irrelevant until Bethesda got hold of it.
In vidya you fricking moron
Learn to read, C&C Tiberian Sun wouldn't have half the grit it did if not for Fallout.
Metroid wears power armor
Super Metroid sold like shit and nobody played it at release, so it obviously doesn't count!
Nintendo should have sold the rights to Bethesda.
Desperation and idiocy are a bad mix. Just stop anon.
>Popularity = Quality
Frickoff Todd
> Going out of business is the true mark of quality.
Tards gonna tard.
And now they're going out of business now while making shit games
That's Rolstongay, a notorious schizo homie from TES threads
>Made it into something
The only thing they did well was let Obsidian make a Fallout game.
Fallout is not a franchise for morons who just like American iconography without any meaning behind it.
Screencap this, I'm fricking vidya Nostradamus.
>Redfall was in development way before Microsoft acquired Bethesda.
>Should we stop this shitty but finished game from being released or just release it as is and make a profit out of something we didn't fund?
Fricking moron, why would they can it?
It's easy money!
>pay 7 billion fricking dollars to buy zenimax
>instead of looking at long-term success, make sure that MS and Arkane turn into a laughingstock by tanking their reputation, making people vary of future releases so that you can make a little money out of the 5 people that bought it
Amazing return of investment right there
>Bean counters are moronic
Yeah I know, but that's Microsoft MO
Me
NV is alright, it gets a lot more right in some cases than 2.
But yeah, I'd rather play 1 and 2 than NV, NV becomes a slog later on due to leveled enemies and lack of transportation.
Ok Todd!
>Me not understanding the Fallout franchise
I understand Fallout very much, Bethesds doesn't or pretends not to so they can make some merchandise fof mouthbreathing morons.
It's even more apparent when they just recycle the same shit everytime.
>Raiders
>Power Armour
>Deathclaws
>Brotherhood of Steel
>Laser and Plasma
>Super Mutants
That's what Fallout is all about amirite?
> I am the only one that actually gets Fallout.
Yes everybody else is wrong and you are the only special one.
If ES6 disappoints in similar fashion I can see MS pulling another 343i by firing tons of people.
I'd rather it die, honestly.
its the opposite for me. the game is just so bland, lifeless and all around mediocre its not even fun to hate on
Mein homie, same here.
>God I love hating this game so much
Explains 90% of posts regarding any game on Ganker lmao
I agree, there’s an air of smarminess surrounding this game that just pisses me off.
for me it's the dev reaction that shows they don't even understand how it can't be loved. between the jeets making up shitty responses to steam reviews, emil losing it on twitter and todd's "your pc suck" comment they clearly got bruised hard.
Based
Currently watching PatricianTV video shitting on Starfield
Same, Todd scammed me out of $70, I would be pleased with a Fallout 4 tier game, but they managed to do worse. Frick them.
> I watched almost every single hour+ long video essay on youtube about hating starfield
same, I actually fapped during a couple of them
I'm legitimately surprised it didn't go up seeing as it had a 30% sale recently.
They can release it for free now and it's gonna get 20k players max on the first weekend and then keep going down.
Its impressive how low the replayablity of Slopfield is.
Like even if they tried to make it not replayable they wouldnt succeed so well.
I gave up halfway through for this reason. The game needs more content, but ain't no fricking way I'm investing hundreds of hours while I wait for it.
THEY WANNA BE DOWN WITH THE KIIIIINNNGGGG
Now Show mthe Game pass numbers.
Whatever you do please don't have a nice day and just continue your sordid existense
76 and Skyrim are also on game pass
those games predate gamepass
Oh yea, I forgot. The 550 million people who are on gamepass only play starfield right? And we can't compare it with other games like skyrim that is also on gamepass, because only starfield if played almost exclusively on gamepass, no other game is.
starfield claims to have hit like 10-12 mil players
that's like half the people who already had gamepass in 2022 trying it for even just a few minutes
and none of them paid for the game
Probably worse with goypass.
Since people didn't pay full price to play Tardfield on goypass, they have no buyer's remorse forcing them to spend time playing a $70 game to cope.
forza horizon 5 sits at 12k right now. it's two years older than starfield & belongs to a comparatively dead genre.
>Whatever you do please don't have a nice day and just continue your sordid existense
Are you talking to yourself lmao
Can it reach a level where it can have 1 player on the number of planets Starfield says it has? I don't think it can go that low.
Even Fallout 4 usually has 10k or so because of modding. Is Starfield that bad that not even mods can save it?
Have you played the game? Went through the main story? I don't think modders want to save this game, Fallout 76 is unironically better written.
>Have you played the game?
Nope, I was smart enough to stay away.
certainly doesn't help that they chose possibly the most boring "aesthetic" for a space exploration game I've ever seen.
>no dude you don't get it, its SUPPOSED to be bland and empty, just like the moon IRL
at least no man's sky had the decency to fricking LIE to me about how boring it would be.
I was actually into the idea, but I thought that they would have intelligent aliens be the big shocker reveal at the end. But no, they asked a bunch of questions, gave you ng+ and gave you an atta boy and a slap on the ass.
>NASA punk
Starfield has nothing to do with NASA. It is just a marketing meme.
>NASA punk
More like Black personpunk.
I can't wait for a mod that reduces the % of black people. It's genuinely sickening, seeing so many of them in one place.
It already exists, but you're not gonna find it on nexus.
is it the one called no blakkks?
More people on Xbox are playing the full-priced BG3 and fricking RDR2 than Starfield
>free on a subscription service that u have to pay
fricking moron
>1$
i ask again, WHY would anybody buy starshit on steam.
>Legendary RPG does not mean it is a good game.
it does.
>Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines is considered a legendary RPG.
because it is.
There are "people" that are paying for gaypass since 2017.
like even if some of it was $1 most of it would be $10 monthly.
Imagine giving $700+ to microshit and owning nothing.
one thing to spot a normalgay is how much they gush about "value". they always talk about stuff like "duuude i get hundreds of games for 10 bucks" and maybe play two or three in a year, by which point they would've probably spent less buying them individually.
reminds me discussions with people on f2p monetization where people would take "dude you pay 40 to get a skin and a free battlepass and coins, that's like 100 dollars of stuff! how can you say it's a ripoff?" even tho the value of that stuff is one cosmetic, monopoly money and a bunch of cosmetics you don't know about yet.
other bethesda games are similarly on gamepass and still have many more active players and many games sold well despite also being on the battlepass. starfield was one of the most preordered games on steam too
> The game was so good the company went out of business like a proper RPG studio.
All the greats do it. Troika, Black Isle Studio, etc
They aren't like those loser studios making money and feeding their families.
you do know games can be good and flop and they can be shit and make billions, right?
I know you may like shitty games and not like popular ones. It is a poor substitute for an actual personality but we do what we can with what we have
>have the subscription already for unrelated reasons
>"oh hey a new game, let's try it"
>it sucks
>still counts as a "purchase"
now if we had numbers on people who bought the pass and immediately played starfield that'd be a more valuable metric. even then
to be fair the point is roping you in, even if you pay $1 for starfield, hate it but keep on the subscription on then it was worth it for them
>pay 70$ for starshit on steam
or
>pay 1$ to get gamepass
>nobody is playing starshit on steam
>acts surprised
starshit is utter trash but spamming steam numbers wont make anybody butthurt.
Barely anyone on PC pays for Gayass
Everyone either buys or pirates, this is Xbot cope.
>Barely anyone on PC pays for Gayass
who told you that?
Starfield has 8 million active players.
I'm playing Fallout 4 atm because I hate myself.
I do not care.
>Starfield has around the same level of player activity as Dark Souls 3, a 7 year old FROM game
Their biggest mistake was the ending. I didn't mind playing the game but once I reached the ng+, it's like why even bother?
its night everywhere
not over here
well it probably was when op took that screenshot
As soon as I heard that Starfield is supposed to have NASApunk aesthetics my only reaction was "why?"
Or rather: why didn't they go for early Expanse style single star system? It could be our own Solar system with different factions being different planets fighting for power vacuum after Earth got wrecked. It could be some other handmade star system, with excuse that whatever wormhole connected us with Earth broke down so we are kinda stuck here.
That way aesthetics and world wouldn't clash as much, especially if it's our own solar system.
But I guess that would require coherent design, and Bethesda wanted to flex their ability to generate empty worlds, so here we are.
>base your game on a 20+ years old engine barely held together by tape after two decades of tackled-on "upgrades"
>base your magnum opus on fricking Fallout 76 of all things
>diversity hires bloat it to the point entry level hardware can't handle it
>"why is nobody playing Starfield?"
Where are those who got scammed out of $300????
Next question. Who are the people who got scammed both by Fallout 76 AND Tardfield?
I don't believe that many people are playing starfield. It's just unbelievable
BGS is over.
Todd is washed.
Emil is trite.
Let’s all fohgetaboutit.
>As Emil loses weight, his writing skills decline.
Mhhh
The brainfog from all the insulin resistance was the source of inspiration. After he fixed his body, his mind cleared up, and he realized there was nothing in it to begin with.
Three figures soon! Glorius, absolutely love to see it. Starfailed 76.
They would be thrilled if it turns out like 76.
Why, does it have a bunch of whales?
>Tardfield
heh
I just checked it has half the players Hogwarts Legacy does right now, but I don't think that game even has a postgame lmao
Tardfield has like 35-40 faction quests compared to Morrowind's >330 faction quests. Don't start talking about the complexity of both games, quests rely purely on writing skills, especially bethesda quests that have little interactivity and are fetch quests with text wrapped around.
Dear Sir, you are forgetting 6.000.000 people playing it on Gamepass™ right now!
bloody b***h steam haters don't know what's good!
>remember the 6 million
Don't forget about the tardfield pedo, he's still around.
>Now Show mthe Game pass numbers.
>Whatever you do please don't have a nice day and just continue your sordid existense
Mandatory.
https://arch.b4k.co/v/thread/650963647/
Phil, work on your games instead of shitting up the board.
Will they finally make a new engine? It's obvious their current one is beyond the ability of duct tape to fix.
Anyone who could code is long gone, so never.
No, they can't use the one that they've been using for years competently and that's easy to mod, what makes you think they can use a new one?
>competently
kek. Is that what it's called when they release buggy messes that require a years worth of patches + mods to fix?
I doubt they can stop the use of Gamebryo or the development cycles without firing galf the compangy though, they'll probably do that and outsource even more than Bethesda did for Starfield.
>easy to mod
It's not easy to mod.
>Phil got baited into retweeting The Most Innovative Gameplay Award
Good thing Sarah is not that moronic…
> single player game
>fallout but on space and without mods
>somehow we expect this to perform well on a daily basis against games service
Are we stupid ?
For all intents and purpose, BGS games are deemed live service, and you wont convince ppl otherwise.
anything xbox is sales poison.
>4 months after release
>STILL no sales number reveal
Absolutely fricking GRIM. I guarantee it didn't even break 10 million yet.
What about the 60 quintillion playhours………
>Every recent Bethesda game has been complete dog shit
Guys... i might have to not get Elder Scrolls on launch, no way is it going to be good
You all bought it. Keep being morons. Keep being mad.
You'll all buy Elder Scrolls VI.
Ok Toddy
You will though. Anyone with half a brain could have seen Bethesda was over with Fallout 76.
>Not Skyrim
>Not Fallout 4
lmao
>Not Oblivion
>Not Fallout 3
lmao
That's fair, but Oblivion was their first foray into a console only title and Fallout 3 was their first foray into a Fallout 3 title.
People expected improvement, but instead we got even more dumbing down.
Last Bethesda game I bought was Skyrim for 20 bucks in 2013 and I regret it.
>You'll all buy Elder Scrolls VI
maybe if they improve the writing and gameplay over Skyrim, but after Shartfield I have my doubts
Man I love watching Ganker constant seething for this game. That's how you know Starfield is a great game.
Weird cope but whatever helps you sleep at night
Cope for what? You guys are the ones seething for Starfield while I'm enjoying to explore the cosmos.
good morning sir
Exploring endless loading screens more like it
The loading screens last for less than 1 seconds like a flash of lightning. Maybe you need to improve your computer but you probably can't afford one lol
Clearly you're not since you're here defending Toddss microwiener
Hello Mr Redditor!
That made absolutely no sense.
Seems like people are playing the superior space game
And here is Starfield as of 31 minutes ago.
Also space magic, what the frick is up with that in a "nasapunk" game? I gave up after 20 hours of stuttery gameplay and endless loading screens without having piloted my spaceship ONCE in the space game.
>I gave up after 20 hours
But I thought it was supposed to get good after 20 hours? Or was it 25?
>I was just being ironic
OK sure. Regardless I was speaking more in a general sense with the second part of my reply and the main point of it still stands.
Yup. The superior space game that has more than a dozen DLC and expansion tier updates for free, VR for free, multiple vehicles, manually flying around planets, fully exploring planet sized planets with 0 invisible walls, and 0 loading screens outside of warping to a different system. Life is good.
Starfield?
More like... Star FAILED
>FAILED
12 million sales says otherwise. But nice try.
So you have up before the game becomes great? Lmao imagine being this stupid. That's like going to the Disney world entrance then turning around.
>12 million sales says otherwise
[citation needed]
Bro it got -12 million lol
citation and verification not needed
Oh no bros its over
Bro your inspect element?
fricking around in gimp was faster because i had it already open
What are you supposed to do in Starfield after you beat it?
I heard it has a couple variations in the main quest when you replay it, but what's there to engage with?
Starfield was the best game of 2023 and I am NOT kidding
Hey Todd!
pretty good number
wish my game would have so many players
>2024
>still seething over starfield
Yup, Microsoft won. Ganker is buckbroken.
Why didn't they just copy FO4? All I wanted was Fallout in space with better gunplay. How was that so hard?
There must have been a big meeting during development where the entire story and world is laid bare and they decided to put the giant galaxy wide war and shit into the past and you fly around in a neutral peace zone all the time.
Find these people and fire them and banlist them from the software-dev world
Are gamers genuinely just the stupidest people ever? I cannot even fathom how people were excited for stuff like No Man's Sky, Cyberpunk, Fallout 76, or Starfield because of how much delusion it requires. I know that not everybody is an adult, but jesus.
