Play doubles.
I don't want to play doubles.
Dawg entry hazards outside of like, sticky web don't see any usage in doubles. Play doubles.
Then play BSS or 3v3. No one really uses hazards in those, outside of maybe webs or the rare suicide leads
Then you get what you deserve
What tier are you playing. If it's a modern gen just put boots on every mon. Also you can use taunt on your lead to deny your opponent turn 1 hazards
>play clown 6v6 format that the game has literally never been designed around
>pretend that it’s somehow the game’s fault
This is why smogtards are annoying as frick.
>Smogon hate out of nowhere.
Post elo.
touch gas gayit
>6v6 format that the game has literally never been designed around
>every mainline game up until the credits are 99% singles battles including elite 4 and champion
what did he mean by this
It's not 6v6 until like, 94% through the games. And they mostly don't have actually thought out sets.
Yeah, more like 5v5 or even 1v5 if you never switch out your starter.
6v6 is the primary pokemon format.
for kids
>game allows you to have up to 6 pokemon in your party at once
>NPC's can also have up to 6 pokemon
>this is somehow not the intended format because ???
Woah how do I use full restores and revives and switch mode in competitive? Clearly the fricking toddler campaign indicates how ranked PvP formats should work.
why do you want a ranked PvP format for a game that has a toddler campaign?
No, making Stealthrock a TM was a mistake.
Like many moves it should NEVER BEEN A TM
(Im looking at you ice beam)
>i don't want to plan in advance i just want to click the super effective move and win
forgot pic
no, the mistake was punishing Fire/Ice/Bug types for Flying types's sins. Either Stealth rock completely ignores type and damages everyone, or it only does extra damage to flying types.
Smogon roggs never needed to exist. You want to nerf Flying? Fricking make Ice resist it. That's all they needed to do, there you go, actual balance and no gay tiger infecting the meta forever.
That wouldn’t shove the issue to flying types being able to switch for free while everyone else gets spikes shoved up their ass.
>What is the fricking fairy type
>Stealth rocks were the biggest mistake in the entire franchise, and nothing even comes remotely close.
I think it'd be really funny if there were ice type entry hazards
Actual fact: Hazard moves are the only thing keeping full on stall teams in check and without them you would be playing 500+ turns snoozefest.
The ultimate redpill: Leftovers should be banned in 6 vs 6 singles OR there should be hard limit to 1 for every item like in any official format. Item rewarding player for being completely passive and just switching on resisted moves should not be so freely available.
Yep, I remember noticing how defog increased the capacity for long games. And that one infamous 1000-turn game was only possible because the guy was running double defog to outlast all of his opponent's rocks (he still lost lol good riddance)
I think there should be stealth rocks of other types too. Like the gigantamax effect of that elephant pokemon.
If it worked the same way as spikes damage it might not feel as bad. Like 1/8 if neutral, 1/6 if rock weak, 1/4 if 4x rock weak
Stealth rocks should only do rock damage when used by rock types. Other mons using it should result in the sneaky pebbles doing neutral damage like spikes.
There should be a stealth rock variation for every type.
