If you stack phys damage and get good artifacts anything is possible. Mine is a paladin type jean with phys goblet and +anemo dmg. I might go full phys in the future but i like the chunky Es and Qs.

She was my first 5star and I've played every day since the begining and she's still my favourite character I recently made an overworld team that uses mist splitter with chongyun c6 Bennett and candace and it was fun switching between various elements on the fly. Not exactly viable in the abyss with a team like that but whether its with raiden or xiao favonius or aquila I've always done every single abyss with her and will continue to do so til the end of the game. When i ascended her to 80-90 i leveled her to 90 naturally over nearly 2 years casually killing overworld mobs and no other character bar zhongli is even on 90. One day I'll get her c6 just 1 more to go and she'll be complete thanks for reading my blog declaring my love for Jean

There are two dedicated phys characters in Genshin, Xinyan and Eula. Exceot they're not phys characters. They're a Pyro and Cryo claymore user respectively with a focus on physical attacks. Because they gocus on phys, they don't much out of more reactions. Xinyan isn't good at melt, vaporize or burgeon. All she's good for is hitting things. She ignores elemental reactions. Eula, on the othet hand, can still freeze, but she's not that good at it. She can't apply freeze at a consistent, constant rate. She's no good for melt either. All she reallybdoes is hitvthings with a claymore or her burst. She can'tvdo anything else.

That's a cryo/electro reaction. Obviously it's made for phys, but it's still reliant on other elements. Xinyan has a hard time taking advantage of it due to being pyro, but Eula actually can use it. Problem is A) it's not a good reaction and B) it limits team composition. Also, despite the seemingly hefty 40% phys resist shred, it still doesn't make phys good. I'm not even sure if a 100% shred would make it good.
