Fallout 4 is a decent RPG. From a technical and content perspective it's also the best fallout but of course boomers have to cope how muh fricking New Vegas is so much better

I mean you roleplay geralt of rivia in witcher 3 and that's still easily the best wrpg of the last decade.
You can roleplay in any game if you're sufficiently deluded.

The Last of Us was very successful among the mainstream and it's a zombie show. I think people just need time to cool down from the oversaturation the genre got in the 2010s.

Yes but that could just be fatigue specific to that series. The showrunners have messed way too much. People just don't care about the Walking Dead, but I don't think it's that easy to dismiss an entire genre.
I think people liked the last of us because it was gay sex the show, but it still didn't do as well as lets say fallout which could have had zombies (feral ghouls) but made them super limited, one main character and one guy going feral who dies that same episode he's introduced.

Vampire the Masquerade is owned by White Wolf which are part of Paradox Entertainment. CCP are no longer involved whatsoever. The actual video game Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines is owned by Activision. If you buy the game on GOG or Steam, Activision gets the money as they are the publisher since 2004. Activision however do not own the franchise, that's White Wolf (Paradox Entertainment).
So in order to get a VtMB remake both Microsoft (owners of Activision who own the original game) and Paradox (owners of White Wolf who own the franchise) would need to collaborate. That's not something that will happen, hence why Paradox are having The Chinese Room making Bloodlines 2 and other trash.
