I like Thief's End. The rendering of Libertalia was nicely-done.
It's only dead because Naughty Dog would rather put its efforts into making gay post-apocalypse games than focus on this. If they make another one, I think they should dial back the climbing because it's beyond unrealistic.
Lost Legacy is really good. Unironically could've been best Uncharted if Nadine was replaced with Sam or Sully or Nate or Elena. She's not interesting.
The mod where you replace her with old-school Lara Croft makes it better, and makes you realize just how much more like the 1st-generation TR games Uncharted is than current-generation nu-Lara is.
speaking of nu-tomb raider.
I will never not find funny how they created nu-TR with a "more empowering" and feminist sensibilities, for them to end up making the closest thing to a ryona/guro western game.
They made a smug b***h for which they think making her look arrogant made her look more "confident."
Plus having to level up her skills is moronic. The original Lara didn't need to level her skills, and came ready with every skill she needs at the very beginning (just like Uncharted).

>Naughty Dog preferred to made a game with an ugly nigrees as a protagonist to instead of a game with CHAD sully as the main character
truly one of the biggest tragedies of our modern age
4 could've been the best if first half of it wasn't filled with netlfix tier drama and climbing. You shoot a gun for like 3 times in the first 2 hours.
Red pill me on the 4th one
I played till the part were i scaped that panamanian jail.
I really didn't like it, it was boring in comparation with the first 3, it gets better?
Is that where all the complaints are coming from? People who didn't even play the game beyond the long movie tutorial? Lmao I was wondering what's up with all the hate of 4 specifically
>It gets better after a 4 hours of tutorials >Through the game you'll still have to deal with other forced walks, braindead climbing and other tropes that movie games like to use instead of playing the game t.
It's still not worth your time my bro, even if the actual gameplay is good.
>People who didn't even play the game beyond the long movie tutorial?
I finished it twice. It's pacing is fricked dude, there is no way around it. I played Lost Legacy right after it and difference was night and day. It improves pacing by a huge shot. Doesn't overstay it's welcome with pointless driving and climbing too. U4's problem was 2 moronic design choices that was removed during the last stages of it's development.
1- Climbing used to include a stamina bar, so you weren't just mindlessly climbing. You needed to look into your stamina bar otherwise you'd fail.
2- They originally thought Nate wasn't going to use guns during the first half. Only in second half when shit hits the fan. That never happened either unless you decide to adopt stealth.
When you remove 2 important design choices during the late stages of development it effects the quality of the product badly. U4 isn't the best Uncharted due to it's pacing.
>the one that goes so balls deep into the movie game side that it becomes a movie with gameplay sprinkled here and there >even more handholdy than its predecessors >melee combat simplified from 3's fun one >an ugly uninteresting negress character for those good boy points
go die in a ditch
Finished the trilogy last year
Uncharted 1 wasn't as bad as I thought it was, definitely a decent game
U2 was really disappointing considering how hyped it is but it's still a good game that I enjoyed
U3 was really awesome, I didn't expect it to like it as much. It kept all the things U2 did well without the shitty parts like bosses or the guardian enemies.
The only thing that's better in u3 than 2 are the "puzzles". The level design is a step down overall. Game was also bluntly unfinished and the port is buggy as hell. There's only 1 real boss in u2, lazarevic and he was ok. The shitty cosplayer monkeys were replaced by almost as shitty hallucination guys, but at least the section is shorter.

>when the movie games are actually fun and enjoyable
Everything after 3 is legitimately shit btw.
First game is a clunky prototype with horrible "setpice" , the jetski one and an immortal Hispanic for a final boss. Only complete contrarians would rank it above 4 and lost lesbians.
I feel like U3 had better level design than 2 and also benefited from having new kinds of gunfights where Nate is climbing and shooting with the camera angled upward. Completely fits the Uncharted aesthetic

Melee was the best in 3. The ability to grapple and throw people down stairs or off ledges was great, no idea why they toned it back down with 4
>shitty parts like bosses or the guardian enemies.
I personally liked those guardians, you basically needed to use Nate's mobility to maintain your distance from them while still playing aggressive to put them down. Was a nice variety from the usual weapon wielding goons you usually fought.
Even if the 3th one is my favorite too, i feel the inclusion of a monster type enemy would add a lot to it, that fire jinx enemy that appeared almost at the end was criminally underutilized even if it has its plot reasons for it.
1-3 are enjoyable. Enemies are awful damage sponges and some levels are just trash.
It's very fun to play around in a Indiana Jones movie. It's what most movie games should aim for. They all had successful emotional beats while also having good spectacle.
I think 4 and tlou focus too much on the emotional beats and drama. Games work well as a good action movie.
Red pill me on the 4th one
I played till the part were i scaped that panamanian jail.
I really didn't like it, it was boring in comparation with the first 3, it gets better?
After the jail you do a heist on a building Rafe is at and it only really picks up right at the end of that section.
Then you go to Angle Land after Rafe's legal acquisition and Nadine's personal army. It's a fairly long section leading to the crew escaping and there's a fair amount of gunfights.
Then you get to the open world jeep segment where everything is sequestered into smaller areas and guards are guarding each area so if you go off the beaten path you get more gunfights, if you stay on the beaten path there's like three gunfights?
Then you get to the drama portion for like an hour with some puzzle solving after which you start the Libertalia part of the game which is where you're getting in constant gunfights that are a pain in the ass on Crushing.
Then it's finally the "supernatural" part of the game which is explosive-rigged mummies. There is no supernatual part of 4.
Then it's finally the showdown and it's fairly boring and annoying if on Crushing.
>Golden Abyss is good.
Until you get to fighting the cop from Dexter and you have to fight him with touch screen controls that are finicky and on Crushing you have less time to do it.
most underrated villian
wish it was revealed he was a djinn all along in disguise
would have been an amazing boss fight
no excuse how he disappears suddenly in that cutscene after he drugs cutter
lazarevic was menacing i liked him a lot
ill never forget playing the doughnut version of him when nd had those holiday events in uc2 online
those were so much fun
I remember being confused when they shot him and he came out fine, Cutter was all confused how he survived. I guess he was just wearing a bullet proof vest? That scene sticks out weirdly, because he ain't immortal or anything, just a normal guy
>1-3 aren't on pc
What the frick? Why would they even title the pc collection the "legacy of thieves collection" if it doesn't include more than half the games?
In a few more years they'll remake the first three and in 5 you'll play as Drake's NB daughter and her girlfriend, hunting some troony that killed him with a club or something. Cuckmann can only make one "game"
To be honest, i never liker playing any game of this series on any difficulty harder than normal because one of my favorite aspects of it is using drake's movement to get close to the enemies to bash their heads. Playing on hard or harder, it turns basically into a cover shooter.
Never bothered with 4 in crushing, in fact it's the only game I only beat once
With 2/3/LL I actually had fun playing them besides the trophy hunting
U1 is just painful, pretty, but painful
You can do that fairly easy. iirc it's difficulty free, so you can pick the easiest, take all cheats like unlimited ammo, skip cutscenes and be done in 4 or so hours.
1-3 are some of my favorite games
2 is one of the greatest games of all time. It's perfectly paced with a fun story and really well written, enjoyable dialogue. Combat is extremely fun and translated well into one of the greatest multiplayer modes of all time
4 would be a good game if it wasn't obvious that Cuckmann was out to shit on Amy's story and can't write anything actually fun, it has to be so overly emotional that it's basically beating you over the head with it. Some of the worst pacing I've ever seen in a video game too
Dead franchise btw
At least the first 3 games will be forever in our hearts

It's better this way. I don't want to know what Druckman would do to it now.
there's never going to be another thief, anon
1 is being remade by another dev
Lost Legacy is really good. Unironically could've been best Uncharted if Nadine was replaced with Sam or Sully or Nate or Elena. She's not interesting.

yeah why make a game about her? not literally any of the other more likeable characters?
She's voiced by Laura Bailey, I bet she fricks Druckmann just for the roles she gets.
unsharted was always trash
(YOU)
4 is the best installment.
4 could've been the best if first half of it wasn't filled with netlfix tier drama and climbing. You shoot a gun for like 3 times in the first 2 hours.
You shoot tons within seconds from the start of the game homosexual
You don't get to the combat heavy parts until you get into Libertalia. It's pacing is fricked.
Is that where all the complaints are coming from? People who didn't even play the game beyond the long movie tutorial? Lmao I was wondering what's up with all the hate of 4 specifically

I thought the burning skeleton hallucinations were worse, especially on higher difficulties
All of these games are absolute trash.

4 is great too, the entire franchise is great really, even LL. Yeah they're movie games but I like movies too what's so wrong with movies
>kills hundreds of people
>cracks jokes immediately after
What the FRICK was his problem?!
He was based and red pilled, criminal scum should be killed and not a sense of regret should be felt.
4's the best one. They finally gave the guns some impact and the grappling hook makes platforming slightly less unga bunga
4 and TLL are much better than 3 and 1.
I liked when Azav calls them mongrels due to their mixed race heritage.
GigaChad Asav.
Nadine Ross is the one muscle mommy I'd sincerely like to penetrate
Golden Abyss is good. It's a shame Sony doesn't give a frick about the exclusives rotting in Vita.

I miss the MP and my old PS friends so much
>Made skins for male characters as obese
>Don't do the same with the females
ONE FRICKING JOB
i hope it gets revived soon
hopefully rpcs3 community can figure it out
He wasn't a Djinn thoughever
I remember being confused when they shot him and he came out fine, Cutter was all confused how he survived. I guess he was just wearing a bullet proof vest? That scene sticks out weirdly, because he ain't immortal or anything, just a normal guy
I sincerely thought that he was a robot, taking into account he is called talBOT.
maybe he was always one step ahead of the curve
until the end that is
wish there was more with him he felt rushed
The series peaked at 2 in terms of gameplay.
3 had the best multiplayer.
4 had the best movement in multiplayer.
U3 multiplayer with U4 movement would be amazing.
>3 had the best multiplayer
Lol, no. 2 blows 3 out of the water.
>none of the Uncharted multiplayers are on PC
>1-3 aren't on PC
What a fricking travesty, those were amazing
>1-3 aren't on pc
What the frick? Why would they even title the pc collection the "legacy of thieves collection" if it doesn't include more than half the games?
I don't mind 4, tbh. 2 is my favorite out of all of them although that's probably because I really liked playing the Train Sequence when I was a kid.
They're the epitome of ok
In a few more years they'll remake the first three and in 5 you'll play as Drake's NB daughter and her girlfriend, hunting some troony that killed him with a club or something. Cuckmann can only make one "game"
How many times did you retried it Ganker?
I gave up and used cheats from this point on. (on crushing)
To be honest, i never liker playing any game of this series on any difficulty harder than normal because one of my favorite aspects of it is using drake's movement to get close to the enemies to bash their heads. Playing on hard or harder, it turns basically into a cover shooter.
I haven't played this on PC yet but I have a feeling this shit would be trivial with mouse aiming.
Never bothered with 4 in crushing, in fact it's the only game I only beat once
With 2/3/LL I actually had fun playing them besides the trophy hunting
U1 is just painful, pretty, but painful
I still miss all U1 treasures. Finishing it once on Crushing removed any and all desire to ever play it again.
>release U4 on PC
>without multiplayer
Sony are a bunch of fricking morons
4 and Lost Legacy are infinitely more fun than Uncharted QTE (aka 3)
>thread finally made me install the collection after snoy gave me during the chinese flu
>mandatory speedrun trophies
Frick this
You can do that fairly easy. iirc it's difficulty free, so you can pick the easiest, take all cheats like unlimited ammo, skip cutscenes and be done in 4 or so hours.
Uncharted was always a fricking awful franchise
