realistically, unless you want to learn every weapon (which you can do; none of them are particularly complex, theres just a lot of them. it would just be a very tedious process and a lot of them are just straight up worse than alternatives), the best thing to do is pick a handful of strong weapons you like and learn those. of course, since its a roguelike, weapon drops are random.
the thing is, the pool of weapons that can drop starts small, and grows as you find blueprints (in a sort of persistent progression system that carries over between runs). in practice, all this actually does is bloats the frick out of the loot pool, and dilute your chances of seeing the weapons you want. therefore, the best thing you can do to have more consistent runs (assuming you arent a gigasperg who wants to learn every single weapon - i only knew one guy who did this and he was a complete homosexual shut-in with a major superiority complex) is not to ever craft any of the blueprints you find, thereby keeping the loot pool small
I somehow only get halfway successful if I find a legendary item early on and get carried by it. Is there any way to get as strong without using a legendary item?
>want to upgrade item quality frequency >don't spend cells on weapon unlocks >die like a moron before the first boss >lose over 200 cells >repeat
I got a weapon with something like 18k dps once and still lost to lighthouse boss

damn, it must suck having troonys mocking you 24/7 in your head, next time post a jack and i might give a (You)
Progression is kind of moronic since you're supposed to keep increasing the difficulty until bullshit and timed mode with no healing if you want to finish the game, but it's still fun to do a run every now and then.
It's shit, repetitive and boring

nah, dead cells is hugely popular with trannies
did u try beign a creative being
very little. its a bad game and ill die on this hill
Controls are nice. But at the end of the day it's just another unbalanced roguelike where you grind until you unlock enough upgrades to not die.
ironically in dead cells the best thing you can do is avoid unlocks
How is that?

Yep. This game needs more tools to alleviate the the loot table bloat.
the custom mode is fairly well executed its just moronic that resorting to that is a borderline necessity
you've never played the game. 90% of unlocks are bait and they end up just adding garbage to your run
what do you mean anon? heckin wholesome indie crossover filler weapon thats literally just another wepaon but worse #4 is my favourite!
>So you know how you should unlock things in games?
>Well in this one, you DON'T do that! Lol!
Nice """""game""""", homosexual
when did i say the game was good?
true
Garbage fricking game.
This game blows, I bought the special edition with the statue and then sold it off after playing for three hours. It's a repetitive, grindy meme.

custom mode
its still pretty shit, but it makes the game playable
