The same thing as the other two
releasing the same fricking games over and over for full price thus setting a bad example already.

NTA but it's what they allow their games to release like which is the real issue, and how they handle their console ecosystems as well. Take New Horizons for example - it skimped on features from other games like Stardew Valley such as exploring the mines which gives the player something to actually do during downtime instead of savescumming. Totk released with mostly the same content as BOTW despite a 6 year dev cycle. Pokemon games continue to be allowed to release on their platform with no QA despite being a flagship franchise for Nintendo. Nintendo doesn't care because they all make money anyway regardless of what the brand's reputation is in the long term, they will always bank on their cultists' nostalgia to give them free shilling and defense. And then you have their console's user experience, which feels like it's 2 generations behind the competition. Paid p2p with awful net code, the autistic code shit for adding friends and joining games, voice chat on a phone app, not being able to use Bluetooth headphones and wifi at the same time... its really embarrassing. I'm thinking Switch 2 will remedy some of this but man has it been rough for a "good console" gen of theirs.

Sony only started dabbling into games themselves somewhere around 2013 with TLoU and few other things and Amazon even later than that.

I guess? They just own developers who make the games now. I know they had a few in the 90's for PC obviously, but did they ever actually make "their own" games once entering console war era?

Goyim-cattle NPCs did all the damage. Nobody forced them to buy and finance objectively downgrades of the medium. If you want to know who bears the last responsibility look at the subhuman, primordial biomass that's hyping up the latest göyslop on this subreddit.

EA. EA is the only company on that list that has been hated for almost 40 years. EA introduces all the shitty things that ruin gaming, lootboxes, always on DRM, microtransactions, $70, etc., and sets a precedent for everyone else to follow suit. EA buys out all the classic studios, milks them to death, and liquidates them.

The winner is EA. All the other companies, with the exception of maybe Microsoft, just lost their souls along the way.

And games that never go down in price in accordance with the market like their contemporaries , Nintendo is still selling 5-6 year old games for $60 when I can buy games that released not even a year ago for less.

None of them did. Shitty companies who are making shit game are draining the wallets of morons who continue to give them money. Actual gamers who are interested in quality gaming will spend their money on good games or pirate the shitty company's games. This is why we're seeing backlash mounting on companies that release trash more and more and are actually starting to see tangible effects (stock prices crashing, studios getting shut down or "restructured"). This was almost never a thing a decade ago. It's very slow right now, but it's still a sign. Keep in mind that it's only things that we're being publicly made aware of. Behind closed doors, things might be even more dire than they will let on for fear of scaring their stakeholders.

The course that gaming development is taking is a natural course and I'd argue it's cyclical, akin to the gaming crash of the years of old in which the same thing was happening. The market was being oversaturated with low quality cash grabs and after awhile the market just said No. We're due for another one and the cracks are starting to get larger.

the irony of that comic artist is that he hates on everyone who even has questions regarding the recent push of LGBTGA++ in Media. I dont think he has any right to bash corporations while preaching their gospel (religious imagery was selected on purpose; you know why)

everyone who names Nintendo needs to think about that for a second.
You can certainly dislike their games, but in terms of damage they cause next to nil. The only times they cause damage is to their own series. Meanwhile EA, Microsoft and Activision aquire all kinds of studios and IPs only to mismanage and destroy them in some moronic forms of power politics.
Infact Nintendo funded projects that would otherwise never happen, like Bayonetta 2 and 3.
The only bad thing they did was hunt down fanprojects for things they are about to release something for or crack down on emulation.

      This is the correct answer
All those companies still need to make games to get your money which means that somewhere somehow there are still creative people trying to create art.

Valve hast lost every single artists working there because it is nothing but a lazy landlord skimming money off the top while turning an blind eye to the MASSIVE amount of illegal gambling they facilitate.

      Frick Valve forever.

sega is quite literally the only company that understands video games. nintendo was up there before iwata died, god rest his soul, but sega has never wavered. they always pump out unique games without fail, some are great, some are sonic 4.
pumping out one or two laughably bad games in a given series while having multiple other consistently fantastic series is miles better than:
    >movie game #594937
    >open world slop
    >sports game release every year
    >microtransactions
    >remakes

They're shit. But unrelated to videogame shit

Nintendo and the success of the Wii marked the begin of the end for me. Before 2007 video games and the internet in general were considered uncool and for nerds. After that year social media & smartphones went through the roof and video games now being marketed to your sister and old people made companies realize they can make huge amounts of money with zero effort.

That wave being built by ps1 and ps2, Nintendo cucked Sony and ps3 riding it. Things would be far worse if they did
