>Starting with SMS and Starfox adventures as a masterpiece
Not even bait. It makes me not read the rest.
>picking up a coin from the floor is the same as buying and owning a dog
You shark jumped and lost me.
>Thats what you are arguing
I'm not arguing whatsoever.
>I was
Who are you arguing with? It clearly isn't me.
>I wouldn't call anything you're doing a coherent thought.
I'm sorry you think that of nintendo (the company I'm simply accurately describing)
>You're just drifting from topic to topic and moving goalposts
"What are the goalposts?" Please elaborate.
>"The fact that there are few people who can create excellent games means that there are many who can create subpar games. If we leave the market to such people, anything with potential will be destroyed. The more companies compete, the more they will inevitably produce a large number of games, trying to win with the variety of software. This leads to a flood of similar, subpar game software in the market. When there are many subpar games consumers become uncomfortable. Once that happens, the entertainment market will collapse in the blink of an eye.
>In order to prevent the market from collapsing due to subpar games, we had no choice but to "monopolize.""- Yaumauchi
>I'm sorry
All good. Just tone down the bait next time.
Shit wrong pic
huh
they know their audience and make games for unisex 3 year olds
better than making movie simulators for literal Black folk though
Small indie developers who make games for children
(you) are not the target audience
They sure know their target audience alright: Adults with the actual money who think they know what kids want/subvert their kids with things they think are "kid like". They buy nintendo shit as gifts for them, the kids ask for the games too so they make sure they maintain the "family safe" trope so mom is more prone to buy the game.
If adults actually played with them, they wouldn't give a rats ass about family friendliness. No grown adult makes a game purchase giving a shit about how safe it is for kids they don't have and if they do then they're part of the cancer killing gaming.
it's still better than the Black person option for the kids though even if everything you said is right
>it's still better than the Black person option for the kids
No shit, why do you think Nintendo only sells products where white people live? They know white people are lame enough to understand their Kabuki Theater finder boxes.
>games sell huge amounts and with lots of critical acclaim
>not giving people what they want
>WAAAAAA WHY GIANT CORPORATION DOESNT CATER TO MY WHIMS NOOOOOO MAKE CUSTOM GAYME JUST FOR ME MOMMY
the absolute state of Gankertrannies
https://youtube.com/shorts/ern_VeFa8BA?si=36hwplqa6yNaGJ12
Still better than Xbox.
>Why are they so dead set on never giving people what they want?
They do, they just take their time
>"Skyward Sword is too linear!"
>the next one if fully open world with little to no structure
>"Put Ridley and K Rool in Smash!"
>the next one has Ridley and K Rool
>"Stop making 2D-like 3D Marios, we want it to be like 64 and Sunshine!"
>the next one is like 64 and Sunshine
>>the next one if fully open world with little to no structure
Did anyone ask for a rehash of that same open world for the next game?
given how it sold 20 million copies in a year yes obviously you moronic sperg
You do realise how many morons there are on the planet?
I suppose you wouldn't when you're one of them.
>I-I'm not a moron it's other people who're dumb mom told me so!!!
tell us your game ideas so we can have a good laugh
Game series shouldn't reuse the same barely changed map twice in a row.
Because people don't know what they want.
Because people don't buy nintendo products, only "people"
The morons online always have shit ideas and ask for stupid things
I dunno, Nintendo has given me more of what I want than Capcom, Snoy, Microsoft, Valve, Acti-Blizz, or Konami.
why do you like moronic games made for toddlers?
Super Mario Wonder is GOTY
there are a lot of fat morons who like baby games out there, yes
What do you play?
not bing bing wahoo early child development platformers, that's for sure
Go ahead, post a list of things you like
no B)
You are a b***h coward who will not see heaven. There is nothing impressive about belittling others when you've put nothing of yourself on the line
?
>westernizes your favorite series
fogot pic
frick
>westernization makes it better
dumb Black person
shameful anon, just shameful
end my fricking life
By not giving people what they want they will always talk about it and consume similar products forever making endless amount of money.
What? They give me good stuff that I like all the time.
That's called integrity. Most people don't know what they want. "Press win button for dopamine" is considered acceptable entertainment by most of the population, but that doesn't mean that's the design that should be chosen.
Nintendo correctly identified consumers as the worst part of the vidya industry
Such as what Black person? They
>put Banjo and Sora in Smash
>release Metroid Dread
>SMRPG remake
>new 2d Mario
and a bunch of other shit, only new F- Zero and Kid Icarus are still probably not happening
Half of what you posted are essentially apology letters by Nintendo:
>Sorry we fricked Rare
>Sorry about Other M, we even used the title our fans memed for over a decade
>Sorry our former CEO shat on RPG's and let Square go after making a mario RPG for our former CEO's company
And did anyone actually ask for a new fricking Mario game? No, they didn't. You know why? Because it's a fricking given that bing bing wahoo company is gonna make a bing bing wahoo game
>apology letters
moving the goalpost
also people did ask for a new 2d Mario game and most thought Nintendo wouldn't do it because Mario Maker
>moving the goalpost
The one you set? No I'll let you know when I start playing ball.
>also people did ask for a new 2d Mario game and most thought Nintendo wouldn't do it because Mario Maker
You've had 40 years of Nintendo history too look back on and yet you failed. You are legitimately moronic if you believe this. Perhaps the fact that they kept selling the old and newer ones for the same full price let you to believe this? Which then leads me to ask why you wouldn't jump ship at that fact?
I stopped buying once I was old enough to realize it was the same thing as yugioh cards (like 8-9 years old).
There wasn't a 2D mario sequel in over 10 years because of mario maker getting the lions share of attention
No it's because they made absolute boatloads off morons who kept paying full price so they didn't have to make a new one. Also which mario maker? There were 2.
The founder was someone who went Hikikomori for 6 years out of dedication to Yamauchi's monopoly and fortunately for his incurred debt it paid off for him (and his poor father/unpaid employees working for him).
A feature in almost every-single game. Specifically, collectathons (like pokemon, gotta catch em all!) What is it you actually like about it that sets it apart?
>A feature in almost every-single game
Collecting coins or stars or whatever else is very, very different from collecting Pokemon
>collecting fake shit is very different from collecting fake shit
And you wonder why they simply sell you the same shit over and over instead of actually innovating games and coming up with new shit.
>argument
Arguing? You think I'm arguing? I'm accurately describing what Nintendo themselves does/admits to. Frick off with your little polarized rhetoric contest.
I never said he was the founder of pokemon, moron. I was implying the founder (of Nintendo) told you they were a monopoly, who is in a joint ownership of pokemon.
>picking up a coin from the floor is the same as buying and owning a dog
Thats what you are arguing prttty much
>You think I'm arguing?
I was. I wouldn't call anything you're doing a coherent thought. You're just drifting from topic to topic and moving goalposts as you reply
I think anyone who uses the term monopoly figuratively a pseud.
>No it's because
Don't really care about your headcanon. You acknowledging a decade gap in a release for the series was sufficient for my argument.
>The founder was someone who went Hikikomori
Ok then don't call Yamauchi the founder of pokemon moron
Well, what do you want from them OP?
they know you don't really want what you say you want, child.
Because what they do makes money
Tell us about your massively expensive AAA Pokémon open world game that would sell 0 more copies than what they make
Go ahead
Go ask a dozen pokemon "fans" what they like about the series. When they tell you they have absolutely no fricking clue why they like it except that it was popular you'll quickly find out what a monopoly is. You'll also find out why it's stupid to ask someone to make a "better game" than a company who has never intended on making a good game more than they have about centering the zeitgeist of popularity around themselves and whatever shitty game they output.
You could make a game 100 times better than "open world" gimmickmon and it still wouldn't sell, specifically because it's not a meme.
We get it, you are still assmad over Dexit and the EXP share
>When they tell you they have absolutely no fricking clue why they like it except that it was popular you'll quickly find out what a monopoly is
So I guess we're not going to find out what a monopoly is then
Not even if the founder (who never played videogames) told you they were a monopoly himself.
Yamauchi wasn't the founder of pokemon
I like Pokemon because I love collecting shit, and really like the battle system
I like Pokemon because the premise of going on an adventure with the family dog is compelling, and I was 10 years old when Red came out
We literally just got PIkmin 4 and TTYD remake, what the frick do you Gamecube homosexuals want?
Go suck Arlo's dick somewhere else
If you can't find anything on the Switch you like, then you aren't a Nintendo fan
people don't actually know what they want
I got Metroid Dread?
They're the only game company that ever gives me what I want anymore
except they did?
I like Pokemon, but I will never call it a good game, the closest to an actual good video game is Legends Arceus but even that has it's flaws.
The only real reason to keep playing them is because finding new Pokemon without being spoiled is still enjoyable
