Real lawyering I'd pretty boring and I suppose that people just don't want to copy ace attorney
What does their breast milk taste like?
Hamburgers.
>Maya didn't get Mia's breasts with the timeskip
Why are Capcom such pussies?
She was already 17 in the first game anon
And? Just use the excuse that she was a late bloomer. One of her concept art designs had her having big breasts.
And? Some girls dont get decent chest until 22
Only if they get fat or pregnant
>MUH BEEG TIDAYS XDDD
Get a taste, moron.
I'd love a taste of Maya's big tiddies yes
she almost did but they pussied out
She only gets those after pregnancy.
Gotcha, I'm on it
Well Maya was 19 in the time of Trials and Tribulations. It would be odd to suggest that, that whole time she was an older teenager she had yet to grow her breasts, but then grew them once she was like 20.
Girls in suits do nothing for me
>the last Mainline Ace Attorney game was released in 2016
Dont worry anon, detective game chads have Rain Code coming soon
>Danganronpa
into the trash it goes
Get your ugly FE avatar out of here
Seriously. What the frick has the Ace Attorney team been doing all these years? Surely the remasters are handed to B-teams and trainees
>Latest games doesn't make enough sales
>Capcom abandons it
For them, the original trilogy and Great Ace Attorney are the only relevant titles now.
they treat Ace Attorney like shit because the sales are never high enough for them yet whenever it comes to making Capcom promotional reels it's always treated as if it's in their top 3 of most important franchises they own. It's kinda feels like the equivalent of how nintendo treats Metroid.
how would you make a lawyer game people are actually interested in playing without making an AA clone?
I've often thought about making mystery/detective games and it turns out that making a good mystery is difficult
it doesn't really have much lawyering
ace attorney games seem weird
one can only play them once
Perhaps the same could be said for all mystery games.
The only really engaging way you can make a game about being a lawyer is the way Ace Attorney as a franchise did it, and so you either do something worse or you pretty closely follow the AA formula and get called a ripoff. What surprises me is that there weren't a bunch of shovelware licensed games based on court drama shows/films that blatantly ripped off the formula.
>What surprises me is that there weren't a bunch of shovelware licensed games based on court drama shows/films that blatantly ripped off the formula.
There was a Harvey Birdman game for Wii that was a pretty blatant AA clone, but it was developed by Capcom so it gets a pass.
Kind of like how Capcom made a DMC clone based off The Nightmare Before Christmas of all things.
Chaos Legion is a licensed game too, based on some light novel. Darkwing Duck on NES is very Mega Man-like as well.
An Ace Attorney clone but in a fantasy world is literally coming out in two weeks.
>canadaslop
hard pass
>insaneintherain
Damn fr?
The trailer makes it look like Ace Attorney, but a peg or two worse in every aspect. Still, might be worth a try.
Being a lawyer IRL is boring in comparison. Most of what Phoenix does that's actually fun is more like what an IRL detective does, not a lawyer
This one comes out next week
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1590230/Tyrion_Cuthbert_Attorney_of_the_Arcane/
And there is also this one that is censored on steam but should have a free patch online.

Haven't played them so I don't know if they're good
Oh and here's another one

You need to make fun wacky cases with likable characters like Ace Attorney does to make it work
The Apollo Justice Trilogy is going to have the DLC cases right? Whale Boogaloo, Marriage Boogaloo and the weird mini cases?
It had better. The whale case was the only good case in all of DD. Weakest game in the series by far, at least Blackquill was based.
It’s funny cause by comparison SoJ’s DLC isn’t “bad” but it’s underwhelming when compared to how moronic the rest of the games cases were
I haven't played that one, I got burnt out on case 5 of SoJ and haven't picked it back up since. While I found DD boring the whole way through (aside from the DLC), SoJ felt inconsistent. I thought the Phoenix cases were meh while the Apollo/Athena cases were solid. At least the game doesn't railroad you as badly as DD.
The final case is definitely a fricking burnout if you try to do every bit one one go, but it’s definitely great, first half especially.
I took a break afterwards before playing the DLC, it’s alright and you might like it more as it doesn’t involve Khurain.
I will say though, this case does something really fricking stupid for humor and it’s reverting Maya to her old annoying self. I personally hate it because her development in Case 3 and 5 were great.
>but it’s definitely great, first half especially.
I liked what I played of it, I just made the mistake of playing SoJ directly after DD without a break in between, so I was burnt out on that style of gameplay in general. I'll definitely give it another go after finishing TGAA 2.
Shame to hear that about Maya. AA 5 and 6 seemed to struggle with the characterization of the original trilogy characters in general, as if they were afraid to take risks with them after AJ.
DLC cases? Which games had them?
Dual Destinies had the case with the Whale
And Spirit of Justice had a case about a marriage, but it also has 2 “mini episodes” that was just fricking around
I would love for them to make a Marvel legal video game with Shehawk or Daredevil has the lawyer do it with different types of legal issues in the world of Marvel like Mutants or super technology or super power law.
I’m already a lawyer irl I don’t need to be one in games
What's our opinion on Phoenix Wright vs. Professor Layton?
Athena will never get her fricking game
She’s stuck being another one of Apollo’s side b***hes and ruining Gavin’s lock twist while also technically making it better because it pushes Gavin’s mental state to be actually deranged.
>our
I thought it was pretty nice only because I played both games and am familiar with the gameplay style, the twist was par for the standard for Layton Bullshit.
But also, the music and multiple witness boogaloo was pretty damn well done, I haven’t played Great Ace Attorney yet so I don’t know if it brought back multiple witnesses
I enjoyed it a lot. The multiple witness mechanic was great, because most of them were straight up insane.
I've got a sealed copy that I'm hesitant to open since I've seen them successfully sold for $200+ on Ebay. I'd probably never sell it anyway, but it still hurts a little to think I might ruin the value by opening it and then not like the game.
Cool mechanically
Mixed in presentation. It didn't look very good but it sounded amazing
Mediocre narratively
Golden Court is an amazing case and people don't talk about it enough.
Finale is a bit disappointing though.
>that one streamer who lost his fricking shit when Pearl channeled Mia and called it pedophilia
why are people such homosexuals?
Joseph Anderson?
being a lawyer in real life is soul crushing.
Even worse than being a soldier
Behold, the best attorney game.
>Capcom
What the frick, never knew about that
Definitely want to check that out
funny that i should find this thread, as I am playing it right now
the style elements are good, but the game itself is too easy and basic
It’s a massive clusterfrick of a case but I really do have a soft spot for Monstrous Turnabout, the whole yokai boogeyman thing is charming, the scooby doo crime scene was funny and the actual twist was genuinely one of the best for the usual filler, on the level of Atmey’s genuis
I appreciated how Winston Payne was involved in pretty much all of the cases in T&T, case 4 and 5 of proxy for knowing who Dahlia is
Post AA6, Wright is now stuck in the office with not only deadbeats Maya, Trucy and Athena, but now the fricking twins too, this man cannot catch a break.
Meanwhile Apollo is drowning in Khurain Pussy
dick sucking lips
>imagine being the coroner who handled her case
huh
God she looks so miserable, I feel sorry for her even tho she isn't real
I can't do it bros
Looking at r34 of AA is weird to me
>miserable
homie she's dead
The look on her face says otherwise
Remember the updated autopsy report?
lawyer games are just puzzle games, and most of those are boring and terrible
Mystery games are dead in general.
Only like 1 has been released this year.
sauce for pic?
That's art of a girl with lips
>paranormasight apk hasn't been cracked yet
sigh...
my wives
https://store.steampowered.com/app/384630/Aviary_Attorney/
I only found out about this because of the English physical copy. It's so weird it got one that wasn't at something like LRG.
>phoenix ended T&T with 3 love interests
>7 years later he's a hobo
Finally, a protagonist I can relate with.
I'll take the smaller Fey, who's technically 18 now.
This pic would be 10x hotter if Maya has a visible bulge on her skirt there.
Someone.. please work your photoshop magic
Good shit.
why youuuuu!! i said BULGE, not Daily Bugle!
lol, i should be mad, but i appreciate your trolling effort
What should be the next step in the AA series? An Athena trilogy? Another Edgeworth game? Something totally new?
I think another Investigations-style game with a different protagonist, like Ema or even Sholmes, would be fun. Gyakuten Kenji 2 was a great improvement over AAI 1 so I'd like to see how they'd iterate on that style of gameplay in current year.
Either do that or if you're doing a new game for the main franchise, bring Shu Takumi back
I think all of those suggestions are good. As long as it's not another Phoenix or Apollo game.
Conadiering that they named the next collection "Apollo Justice Trilogy" it sounds like they want to go with a new protagonist.
law-prostitutes
They could make an interesting judge game where you have to decide cases and pre-trial motions and face the consequences.
Grant probation and the dude murders your wife
Certify a death penalty issuance and find out the guys not guilty
I miss that one website where you can make your own Ace Attorney case, and play a bunch of fan made ones. Don’t think it’s online anymore though
Understandable, yeah, playing through the games straight through can cause some issues.
Don’t get me wrong, AA6 does better justice with the characters, including Trucy, Maya and Adult Ema.
The DLC specifically is just fricking around, but it’s very noticeable and goes to show how much better Maya has grown in the main AA6 game.
Meant for
Feeding your dog some food that was tainted with the victims blood was pretty fricked up
Oh boy, I can’t wait to see the First Person POV of Blackquil literally choking me in HD on my PS5
>Played the first one
>Unknowingly skipped to the 3rd game
Is the 2nd game good?
it's the weakest of the original trilogy. except for the final case which is my personal favorite.
