They pretty much killed my reason to resub and play when they sacked exploration content in favour of turning the Artefact weapons into only dungeon spam, I don't even care about the weapons themselves since they are just glam sticks, I just want any type of exploration content (like Bozja or Eureka) to be added into the game since the bicolour gems are not a good enough incentive to go back and repeat the same (shitty) fates over and over again since all of these fates are designed so that the same people that bumble their way through the MSQ and cry b***h tears over how they failed at another RP event, can complete them.
Because I'm waiting for the next expansions pre-patch to drop before I jump back in and do all the post-EW content.

The story puts too little value on WoL's mystery helping hands (players), this game really needs a full fledged solo + NPC version (including venat romance) or reskinning options if other players wanted to show up as the NPC party members. The sudden shift between trusts and wol + summons feels weird in current XIV.

Changing up the arena is always fun. The heal check is much more painful than I would expect from a normal. I wish that the normal did more with webbing, but I think they are saving that for savage. Looking forward to P12S the most even if what we saw is most likely the door. The adds phase was very frenetic and she also has arena frickery.

Clicking on the enemies with the mouse doesn't make it more exciting. It's still just standing there and activating hotbar buttons unless you need to move out of damage. I just played a lot of that and reached my limit.

Half the party gets to sit in middle and the people that have flare only need to move twice. It's nothing. The only "hard" part of the fight is the half room cleave spreads when the proteans come back in, but this can be made much easier by the tank(s) invulning it and running out. Pretty sure most of the people roasting spoony didn't even play 14. They just assumed he was wrong because of his moronic takes on other games.
He was generally a straight-shooter when it came to matters of pacing and worldbuilding.
The problem is that his videos mostly just devolved into bashing with no nuance or recognition of things that DID work. Even for games he did enjoy, like the Ultima series pre-8, it was mostly just airing grievances about nitpicks rather than talking about what he enjoyed.
Spoony was actually right though, his initial argument was that you never felt heroic in the beginning cutscene of ARR because you just run away from the beastmen attack. 10 years later, he's still pretty much right, because WoL has his dick in his hands while shit is going down and everyone else does the cool stuff. The scene where everyone else is fighting voidsent while you waddle around gave me intense embarrassment.
The nier raid were ass.

Y'Shtola and Urianger just knowing how to open a portal that big was the worst one to me.
Yshtola has made it her lifes work to find a way to cross the rift and Urianger spent a lot of time hanging with dimension hoppers so I don't think its that farfetched.
I admit it could have used a bit more buildup though. MSQ was honestly full of little amateur mistakes, the clown they have writing clearly can't keep all these plates spinning for long.

Changing up the arena is always fun. The heal check is much more painful than I would expect from a normal. I wish that the normal did more with webbing, but I think they are saving that for savage. Clicking on the enemies with the mouse doesn't make it more exciting. It's still just standing there and activating hotbar buttons unless you need to move out of damage. I just played a lot of that and reached my limit.

Flamespire brand is harder than anything in zodiark
Half the party gets to sit in middle and the people that have flare only need to move twice. It's nothing. The only "hard" part of the fight is the half room cleave spreads when the proteans come back in, but this can be made much easier by the tank(s) invulning it and running out. You don't even need the second tank because the busters don't do damage and you skip half the fight.
