Probably a scrapped level
>they can't access Starry Night Stairway
lmaoing at the morons
Why do you weebs keep calling it that. "Stairy Night" was a good localization
Surprised there's no fan mod where it actually takes you to a level
SM64 needed more to it, 64DS was in the right direction, but I'm talking more full levels. The second floor seemed like a tease with all the other paintings you can't enter though Snowman's Land and Tiny-Huge Island were presented well.
B3313 takes you to a different version of the second floor but not a level
I'm surprised that there isn't an expanded version of SM64 vanilla in general the closest I can think of is the Junuary Project and the green comet mod but those are just alterations of the base game.
It's actually the painting for tick tock clock
The true location of Tick Tock Clock is inside a giant tree.
it leads to the top floor of the castle
there's nothing weird about a regularly old painting in a game full of paintings you can jump into
How were you supposed to know not to jump into it.
It’s the world where the Toads who ran in the hallway are trapped. You can’t go in because there’s no intention of letting them out.
It was cut, Mario 64 is a rushed unfinished game. In the actualy version Pontiff Sulyvahn was supposed to be the final boss.
It's a texture for the third floor's wallpaper that they decided to reuse there. Also why was the grandfather clock shaped like a tree?
Its the Erd Tree
It's literally just the background texture of the top floor reused as a painting. However i DO want to jump into it and i DO want to jump into medium tiny huge island
>medium tiny huge island
So just Normal Island?
>he doesn't know
>he doesn't know about the song of storms prediction
>he doesn't know
It's a Rosalina reference
>Nintendo predicted Rosalina
bros...
Look at the shape of the star constellation. It kinda is formed like the ship of Rosalina.
It is possible that this was a teaser for Super Mario Galaxy. Because the scrapped stage was supposed to be in space.
it's an homage to van gogh
DLC level.
>A painting that doesn't lead anywhere im going mad Black personman!
You mean like... a normal painting in the real world?
If you ride Yoshi to this painting it unlocks a rom of Yoshi's Island.
>he didn't beat Cold Cold Crevasse and unlock the Cloud Cap
SM64 is a contender for the greatest game of all time, but if they gave it another year of development it would have indisputably been the greatest album of all time.
Prove me wrong.
>album
Ah frick I meant game, how did that even happen lmao. Roflmao even. Rolling on the floor laughing out loud even.
Controls and camera suck.
But yeah, maybe one year would have fixed that too.
