The base game was always mid, it's bitterblack isle that everyone remembers fondly. Capcom needs to bring it back and if they ever make a third, ditch the open world shlock and focus entirely on the dungeon crawler Dragon's Dogma is best at.

I mentioned wall-banging being new as well as gravity, knocking things away, upwards or even downwards being old. Pinning enemies and objects to other enemies or terrain also existed. Throwing enemies into one another is also old. You are the one who went all "To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand DD2's physics based combat.
