The worldmap is the only big addition this game has over 1, and in everything but your first playthrough you will be aware that every single cave is just filled with complete shit and not worth exploring, suddenly 70% of the game is worthless.

The base game was always mid, it's bitterblack isle that everyone remembers fondly. Capcom needs to bring it back and if they ever make a third, ditch the open world shlock and focus entirely on the dungeon crawler Dragon's Dogma is best at.

I mentioned wall-banging being new as well as gravity, knocking things away, upwards or even downwards being old. Pinning enemies and objects to other enemies or terrain also existed. Throwing enemies into one another is also old. You are the one who went all "To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand DD2's physics based combat. Cause the original DD was pretty much lambasted in and out, and I don't recall pretty much anyone having anything good to say about it beisdes "lots of potential". dark arisen fixed so many bugs, added so much content on BBI, added new quests, and just showered you in gear right at the start to make the introductory stuff less of a fricking disaster.
No, the Thief class not having double jump to reach higher places and no dodge roll is just Strider without having the core skills and is not fun without them.

you set it when your pawn returns from a quest. They need to complete the first default one first.
