Yes, I'd love for Gen 6+ starters, which are the ones with jobs, to lose them and look better.
>Greninja is a jobmon but Empoleon isn't
explain yourself
Ninja is a job.
Emperor is too, they are politicians
Emperor is a title. Also politicians get elected and have a wage
The mental gymnastics you go through to say that it isn't a job.
You leading a nation is an occupation, something that one does to make money a.k.a. a job
see
What you described fits for a world leader. It's a piece of work, a task that you do to serve people of a nation, and world leaders are usually given a salary for their service to a country. Even if it wasn't a job, it's a specific role that you take, a specific role. Empoleon is as much of a character (probably more-so) than Greninja
Also they are butlers.
What was Empoleon's job?
WaveMan if he an animal
He jobbed to CHADterra
>swinub used ice shard
Being Napoleon
Didn't know a specific person is a job lmoa
Emperor is a job.
Where do I apply? What's the starting salary?
Being a president is a job, moron. president = king = emperor.
>Where do I apply?
Get gud.
It's a position, but not exactly a job perse.
Slow down there, chief. How many years of experience do you have empering?
Your aplication is to conquer the next villiage over. And your acceptance is if you hold on to it. Your salary is how much you decide to make from ruling over said village.
Doesn't exactly sound like a job.
>noun. a piece of work, especially a specific task done as part of the routine of one's occupation or for an agreed price
wdym? sounds like a job by that definition.
Do you not consider commission work a job?
Are all emperor penguins employed?
Emperor, until they exiled him to some island
but what if he swam back from that island, all the way back to Kalos?
They'd exile him to an island even further away.
he's just like me for seriously
I like the arm blades, but removing the rest of the extra detail was an improvement.
needs the arm blades to be a steel type, dumbass
But Gen1 invented jobmons. They have: Uri Geller if he yellow, a literal body builder/wrestler, literally my mom's kickboxer, a regular boxer, a yellow hypnotist, and literally just a mime.
never noticed how obese this penguin is
Have you never seen a penguin before
Do redditors unironically think left looks better?
This image is from /vp/ and it's good to be simpler. I'm tired of people who started Gen 3+ calling Gen 1 designs bland because they don't have a bunch of attachments and random colors slapped on to them.
and then theres gen 5 where it doesnt even resemble a pokemon
Of all the things to remove from the design, you kept the fricking fingers on its flipper?
do not show this to gen 1 autists...the over designed nature of it may send them into shock
>random orange accent and yellow gradient
Whoever thought this was a good design needs to kill Himself
Keep the blue blade's
Post more fixed designs
This board will try to convince you that newer designs are objectively designed differently than older ones but the moment you say that Gen 3 or 4 is just as different from those as they are Gen 1, they say "nuh uh"
Empoleon as it is currently designed would be more likely to be made in Gen 9 than Gen 1
I'm surprised no one post this yet
Looks more like a garbage mega form rather than a gen 4 mon
also
>Claws on the wings despite charizard NOT being a wyvern
Cringe
that poor garchomp lost her job. im happy charizard found some work as a gimp though
I've always loved that Garchomp
Gen 1 and 2: wacky creatures
Gen 3-5: wacky animals
Gen 6-9: animals with wacky elements
Less "wacky" and more "exaggerated", like, "what if a pangolin was REALLY spiny. Oh and also Kaifu"
btw I love gen 1 so dont get c**ty
yes
>Infernape if he incompetently designed by a baragay
>making a fighting type look like a fighting type means you’re a baragay
>fighting type means le naked man appearance
have a nice day
>Remove the design
Very cool
>remove her work equipment
ftfy
My line for a jobmon is if the job is tacked onto the initial concept, despite having no relation to it. Empoleon wouldn't be a jobmon to me because it's a pun on emperor penguins, which are a real animal. Foxes aren't magicians, cats aren't wrestlers, rabbits aren't soccer players, etc.
Foxes are heavily associated with magic
Tiger mask is one of the most famous pro wrestlers
Rabbits are athletic and run a lot
Literally none of the jobs are “”tacked on”” if you want to go by that excuse.
