A lot of people dislike using legendaries on their playthrough teams, but do you feel the same way about the bird trio? They're very easy to just stumble across even if playing very casually, hell moltres is basically handed to you just by going through victory road.

No matter what copelords say, they're a one of a kind pokemon and going around with them is immersion breaking
This isn't like later games where a literal god agrees to let you carry it around on your waistband, you fought, wrangled and tamed a rare, powerful beast to use for sport
That said using more than one is pretty scummy
If they're in the game and available before the E4, then obviously the developers intended players to have that option.
Frankly there's nothing wrong with using them, do what's the most fun to you. No one cares.
