I live right next to a bunch of Pokestops/gyms, so I never have to leave my house or interact with anyone that does the raids.

Go's servers seem to have shit themselves today.
At 6pm UK time, we saw a huge drop in server responsiveness, coinciding with 11am in Eastern USA.
Trading and friends list was generally impacted too.
There are literally no elite raids at 5 PM.
My city has 127 ex gyms. We had 1 raid at 5pm.
It makes me think there's some logic bug that prevented 5pm raids from running, or they turned off 5pm raids because of the shitshow.
How did they manage to fuck this up when Hoopa elite raids eventually worked better?
Pretty sure the logic they used this time was that all EX gyms had a chance of rolling an 11am raid first. At 2pm, any EX gyms that didn't have an 11am raid had a chance of rolling a 2pm raid. At 5pm, any EX gyms that didn't have an 11am or 2pm raid had a chance of rolling a 5pm raid. In the end, it was heavily skewed towards 11am raids, since they got highest priority. Any retard could have seen this coming, and yet Niantic somehow couldn't figure that out.

Worse, every gym that didn't have a raid at 11am on friday automatically got a 11am raid. The rest had a chance of rolling 11am after their raids have ended. Then at 2pm again those that didn't have raids got 2pm and the rest rolled after the raids.

I would’ve thought the galar regis would’ve been in a similar situation to kartana and celesteela, regional regular raids, not elite raids. I would’ve thought elite raids would be reserved for something better, like urshifus or legendary super forms similar to hoopa unbound
