You WILL like Skull and Bones.
It is a AAAA game and worth $70 despite being a live service game.

CRIME Shirt $21.68 |

CRIME Shirt $21.68 |
So it'll be higher quality than AAA quality slop right.
The number of As just means how much money they spent not how good it is.
Wasn't that game literally made by pakis? I don't think "quadruple A" when I think pakis.
It was made by a dysfunctional Singaporean studio Ubisoft was obliged to keep running until they ship a game due to a contract with Singaporean government. No idea what "Singaporean studio" actually meant in this context, it isn't uncommon to just have head office there and actual employees somewhere else.
so it's made by pajeets then. Why does Ubisoft keep outsourcing to india? What a mistake.
the same reason why slopfield was made poojets, because they are cheap and if they already are going to sell slop to gaymers they at least are going to save on production costs (if not outright steal from the company)
hopefully this is the final nail in the studio and their stock value drops so much that nintendo decides to buy just to dismember it and put them to make kirby rapes mario or soemthing like that
I got this and was like really another beta. Thought this game was due out ages ago, I played the closed beta what seems like forever ago.
>A Ubisoft original
I want to lacerate AAA CEOs and marketing people and choke them with their own guts. I want to murderize them and hang their corpses by their penthouses for all to see. Fricking rape them and send their skulls to their loved ones.
Marketing is weird these days. I still can't get over how movie trailers have a trailer for the trailer tacked onto the start of the trailer. I guess you have to get a zoomer's attention within 3 seconds or they'll drop it
>send their skulls to their loved ones.
What about the bones?
Make an effigy.
I found out like a week after the beta had happened that I had gotten access but the email ended up in my spam folder, lmao
Commies pwned.
god i hate ubisoft games.
Hogwarts was fun
TW3 is the greatest game of all time though
Wasn't even the greatest game released that year
OG Watchdogs is pretty nice. Mario&Rabbids is fun too.
>AAAA game
what does that even mean anymore
it stands for retAAAArded userbase
it's the same as "blockbuster" for movies, it's supposed to indicate some level of quality or expectations but it never actually meant anything
blockbuster was always a buzz word, its first usage was for ww2 era military propaganda films and was basically "this movie will impact your heart just like our state-of-the-art two-ton steel-cased hexogen bomb will be dropped on german schools and churches! be sure to cheer equally for both events!"
It’s a reflection of your reaction to these types of games. You take a look at the bloated, MTX-filled mess of a GAAS product and you just want to scream “AAAAH!”
it just means they poured millions upon millions of dollars into it
A ubisoft original
i'd like to know what single A is at this point
Baldi's basics
Awful, Abysmal, Atrocious, Abominable
in the past it was a complete blockbuster meant to create a change of paradigm and the only to examples of these were gta v/rdr2
today, it's mostly a scam to get free hype created by soon to be dead companies like hoboshaft in order to create a buzz about the extra millions they shoved in their shovelware due to their own incompetence and lack of managment skill
Since when can AI make hands?
Dall-E3 (Bing) is pretty good at it, other formats like Stable Diffusion still struggle with hands, though the effect can be minimized with certain embeddings.
>Chicken is white meat
>Watermelon has a black arm
It's the little things. If the AI decided that on it's own then kek.
they have to constantly "fix" their AI for this type of things, I remember that one that google put on twitter and become really based in a few days and they had to shut down her
It's the sound of the industry screaming
how much are the selling Dragon's Dogma for? Ill just buy that.
I'd buy that for 80 dollars, but I bet its 59.99, and will be way better than this pirate slop.
that other Pirate game that got shown off at the game awards looks way better.
But through affiliates instead and save like ten bucks. They give you a steam key on pc anyway. No idea about console versions.
buying steam key's is an incredible roll of the dice.
>how vast and complete
was that the plan? just destroy standards for years and years until you can call a mediocre 2008 triple A game "AAAA" and give it a huge mark-up?
Just starting the game is bad.
6 Canons, 2 people on each. Every canon had 1 Black, one had two and one had none.
You are done with the first battle, characte creation, Black is standard. Your first talk to people, a white woman and a Black.
Boy oh boy
Ubisoft needs to crash and burn. I still hate them for what they did to Ass Creed (starting with II).
It's pretty fun. Not 70 bucks fun though.
How and why did the CEO of Ubisoft think it would be a good idea to speedrun Jim Ryan's race to the absolute bottom?
How the frick is Ubisoft still in business?
If you look at their revenue vs profit it's fricking hilarious. They are at like 2b rev with less than 50mil in profit every year
Funding by Blackrock, Vanguard, ESG, Sweet Baby Inc, etc.
>You WILL pay for grossly mismanaged development hell and you WILL like it
This piece of shit game was in development hell since like Black Flag came out. I'm sure it's AAAA if money spent is their measurement stick
this, I saw this game teased forever and ever ago.
I remember getting the survey shortly after black flag released that asked about interest in a non-assassin's creed pirate franchise. At the time I was all over it but now I think I'll just play black flag again since I only beat it once ten years ago.
Starting a threadly reminder to say the unjust reality in which live saw Armada of the Damned die just for Ubislop to pick through its carcass for this future layoff generator.
>Ubishit
Oh look, another annual far cry clone. I bet there's bullshit collectables, climbing towers and enemies take 20 bullets to die.
>Describes ubishit games
>Accidentally describes Breath of the Zelda
Really makes you think
Is there a single open world game that doesn't ape the Ubisoft open world design formula?
Bethesda and Rockstar games, Ubislop is just the most braindead way to make a open world game because its just a plain void map with shit to collect and towers
What
said+Elden Ring and Metro Exodus (which is barely Open World)
Elden Ring not resembling an ubi open world is such a fricking lie
If you play any of their open worlds from like the last 8 years which have the "explorer mode" where you don't get the map icons turned on by default then there's barely any difference.
>quadruple A
>ubisoft
>throw more money at it
>it's still shit
oh ubisoft
>just pay us $69.99 plus tip to install the game and another $14.99 every three months for the battle pass and $2.99 or $39.99 here and there for premium shop items so you can enjoy our diversity filled wokeslop
Nope.
Reminder that this piece of shit game has been in heavy development hell, several directors and staff left this project
This game is basically money laundering
>how complete the game is
Live service translates to p2w?
cant wait for it to fail
ubishit gotta be close to going under by now, surely?
>watch someone playing
>one row of cannons shoots trough the side nets
If the game fails in basic details it can't be good. It's proof that no one in charge really cared.
what is even going on at israelitesoft? the last thing i remember everyoen was getting tired of asscreed games after 3
Skull & Bones will directly lead to Ubisoft getting bought out.
it's probably some jank shit made on a shoestring budget, i doubt it will impact them
It's been in development hell for like half a decade and more, they at least poured a few hundred million into it.
>online 'pay to rent' game
>double DRM
well ok, I'm not sure how one pirates your servers but you do you, ubi, uwu
Just don't expect me to pay
cutthroats: terror on the high seas is the kino Pirate game
Hasn't this game been in development for like a decade at this point?
Yes. I'm pretty sure originally it was supposed to be just a sort of side spinoff of the AssCreed Black Flag sailing portion, and then that went nowhere and then Sea of Thieves came out and completely kicked Ubisoft in the dick, and then I'm pretty sure they tried to make the game some like, shitty third-person arena thing with ships? I'm kind of curious what abomination they've molded this garbage into since then.
I was getting war thunder vibes from the last trailer
Yes, and it's still fricking terrible. There's a really frickin good reason why they haven't released it yet.
If this game does bad it'll probably cause an insurmountable amount of layoffs
Remember when they started developing this game like 12 years ago and it has been in so much development hell that it got scrapped, rebuilt, and rebooted like four times?
I actually don't even know what it looks like or what state it's even in at this point. But it sure as frick is not a game made with any sort of direction or vision.
AAAA or quadruple A has been used to describe two other games, Star Citizen (scam) and Hyenas (cancelled).
The closed beta having a fricking time limit told me everything I needed to know about this fricking pile of shit.
Even AAA doesn't mean anything anymore.
Just see how they seethed over something mid like BG3 having something even remotely approaching production values without resorting to copy-pasting decade old models.
i dont buy ubisoft games
It doesn’t matter. Nobody will buy it.
There is no quad A, MLB is AAA baseball, ain't shit of better quality.
It killed Blackwake so it better be good.
Any of you morons even playing or you just whining about games you can't run/afford?
bump
So the answer is no. Got it.
>it's another wagie bragging about how his Mcjob can afford him a video game
lol lmao
>"CANT AFFORD A BAG OF SHIT? HAHA WHAT A LOSER!'
It's literally free right now. Anyone can see how shit it is for themselves without spending a cent if the last ten years of development hell wasn't enough of a sign.
If you follow the trend all of the games that get really aggressive whining threads like this are always online and thus unpiratable
>check out some youtube stream out of curioisty
>see this
kek, quadruple A indeed boys.
>starfield stare
Can’t wait to see this top tier product that will shame the run of the mill AAA teams out there.
what the frick is wrong with these playdough characters?
they are Black folk
The guy on the left looks like he works at Ubisoft
They're French.
French Canadian actually.
Gross.
They want the Starfield audience.
Triple A game companies battling each other over the title of scummiest corporation on earth
development hell games have always been the best games around, just look at duke nukem forever, aliens colonial marines, ride to hell retribution, etc.
I remember the last time a game was called AAAA.
Absolutely nobody is going to buy this game lmao. It's literal shovelware.
so its a more realistic sea of thieves?
how is ubisoft still in business
It wishes. There is no leaving the ship the walk around. It's just closed multiplayer matches made out of Black Flag's ship combat and a huge microtransaction store attached to it.
You are literally moronic and completely wrong
No he isn't. That's exactly what the game is. Dumb pajeet shill.
Don't try samegayging to save face, subhuman moron. It's an open world sailing game.
It's not open world. There is nothing you do but multiplayer battles and sit in the cash shop hub. The only thing it has in common with Sea of Thieves is the pirate ship theme.
>Easily disproven bullshit
Why bother. Take your pity you and have a nice day
ah, that sounds like a very niche game that wont sell a lot of copies
This game isn't realistic at all. It's super arcadey.
I just watched a steam earlier. It's the ship stuff from Assassins creed games(I only played odyssey), but there's no boarding fights. You just cruise around on your ship and shoot at homies until you press E to board, get a cutscene and win.
Looks absolutely soulless. As expected of ubisoft tbh.
There is some walking around. But that's only in player hubs to get missions and shit, probably to show off your character cosmetics.
>probably to show off your character cosmetics.
This is the sole reason for the hubs to exist. Everything else you do in town could just be in a menu. When you're actually playing the game you're either in first person on your ship or zoomed out so far that it doesn't matter what your character looks like. There's not even a log-in screen that shows your character. The entire existence of the custom character and hubs is solely to sell pirate costumes. At least you'll see ship cosmetics when playing.
They know absolutely no one is going to invest in this dumpster fire post launch so they're hoping to just sell a bunch of copies and cut and run.
Probably the most haphazard and disastrous development of a game I can recall.
>live service
I'll never play it
I won’t play it despite live service being my most played games. Not interested in pirates, old boats and cannon warfare.
I was kinda interested. looked up the page and saw every single pirate was black. closed the page and lost all interest. won't be buying it.
>Live service games are now considered AAAA games
>Quadruple A
Then why is it running on DX11?
is ubisoft more hated than EA nowadays?
Buying Ubishart games is essentially an IQ test.
>Do you lick windows daily?
Buy the game
>Can you breathe without having to think about it out loud?
Don't buy the game
>Live Service Pirate Game
Are you just a giant ship or can you take control of a pirate? If so and you can do solo shit this may have a place filling the void sea of thieves can't.
another "death sentence for their studio" banger of a game? sign me in then
What a waste of resources.
Quadruple ASS
All of these studios need to hemorrhage as much money as possible on live service shit and the $70 meme until they get the picture. I'm not buying a live service game and I'm not paying more than $60 (even that is pushing it) for their games. Make games that can be sold for $60 or less. Otherwise you'll lose money. Simple as.
No point even buying any games day one anymore. They usually drop down to the $30-$50 range within a month or two, depending on how badly they flopped initially and how desperate the company is. No game is worth $70, let alone $60.
Does that mf realize that BG3 the GOTY, a DRM free game, a game that is from 100 to 200 hours long with fully animated and fully voiced dialogue is 60$?
who
That shit is AA and only because it`s under Ubislop`s umbrella
Literally dropped the idea of even considering this game when they decided to set it in the Indian Ocean instead of the Caribbean, what a fricking moronic decision
Imagine the smell
i see ubisoft
i skip
simple as
>AAAA
>Ubisoft CEO
>CEO
Yeah he has no idea what he's talking about, he's never played a game in his life
why is the Anno team the only competent devs at Ubisoft?
>2024
>devs need to convince you that the game is, indeed, a complete product
I laughed when I loaded up this demo and it said it was made by like 15 different Ubisoft studios. All those people and all of those years and this was all they could produce? What an enormous waste of time and money. The fact they were forced to waste all of that is what makes it truly funny.
>despite being a live service game
Honestly most of the complaints about live service games don't really apply to ubisoft since they leave their stuff running forever.
Failed game. Better pirates exist and the fad is over, while streamers will never pick up a game that 2 people play on PC in what I can only describe as the most cursed fricking combination of Ubisoft's shitty PC history combined with needing both EGS and Uplay to actually run the shit. Live service FPS games exclusively exist to be streamer bait and be played by their followers.
Since it's a game nobody wants, and nobody that these games are aimed for will play it, it's just pissing money into a hole. It's amusing, though, because almost anyone could sit down at a table and tell their board that they are fricking moronic, yet companies keep releasing mega-budget games that nobody plays and then go under.
>Sea of Thieves has an incredibly boring year and a half when Skull and Bones could have made an impact
>Instead releases right when Sea of Thieves is having its best season in ages
Smart.
>Ubislop
>AAAA
Meanwhile Rockstar has a $2 billion budget for their next game
Yeah because they will make 100 billion off it
