You've only played HALF of Final Fantasy XIII.
The E3 trailer is the other half. We need to find it.

can we just pretend thirteen never happened?
I liked it a lot on release and was so excited to discuss with others on the internet after beating it. Unknowingly walked into an inferno on that one lol.
That's what you get for having terrible standards
How could you not know by then? FFXIII was hated on heavily before it even released because muh no towns, and also people hated Vanille's English voice. I would say you're a cuck if you play with dub voices in the first place but you pretty much had no choice at the time, I did like her voice though.
Also Xgays harping on linearity when X is almost as linear as XIII and made by the same main team that made X.
Its impact is too profound for us to just ignore it. FF had fallen off a bit, but XIII being considered a disappointment was like the exact moment it became clear Japan would never lead the industry in software ever again. In particular, the collective consciousness turning on the stories coming out of Japanese games was like waking from a stupor. Games like FF and MGS were the reasons people began to ask if games would be a good storytelling medium but I doubt modern audiences could ever understand that without a lot of context.
XII was a misstep because apparently Matsuno is incapable of writing believable characters but XIII was a disaster. it was definite proof Final Fantasy would never be good again.
>Games like FF and MGS were the reasons people began to ask if games would be a good storytelling medium
Yet they'd already been eclipsed years earlier by Grim Fandango and Monkey Island
I wish we could turn back the clock. It couldn't have been worse honestly.
Just read the novels chud
npc
Nah, its a shit game
>You've only played HALF of Final Fantasy XIII.
No, I played zero.
I only WISHED I played zero.
You actually played like 25% of FFXIII. The remaining 75% was cut out and turned into a light novel series and they somehow thought the game would make sense without any of it
Thank god. I would vomit if I had to play anymore of that dogshit game.
Anon that link says FFXII
Never forget. NEVER forgive.
"My Hands" and "Stand By Me" are still the most kino FF trailers of all time. XVI had some decent ones but nowhere near as good as those two. Also XV > XIII > XVI, but I liked all three of them.
Final Fantasy Versus XIII beats all of them.
We have to find it.
True dat homie Nonura's wilde ride lives on
>True dat homie Nonura's wilde ride lives on
If you're intent on finding Final Fantasy Versus XIII i won't stop you. i'll even tell you how.
first, you have to learn about Miracles. There's a hidden dimension in every japanese videogame, a parallel world. The miracle is to actually go to this world/dimension in the game.
Final Fantasy Versus XIII is the parallel world to some mystery videogame which may or may not be final fantasy related.
And, it's not over yet, Versus XIII (The World of the Versus Epic) is a trilogy, so we have to do this three times.
The only way we stand a CHANCE of finding Versus XIII is to have a social movement where everyone rams their heads against every japanese game made in FFVersusXIII's development period
>There's a hidden dimension in every japanese videogame, a parallel world
Either you are a schizo or a complete dumbass; this is the first time I heard somebody talk about this. In step-by-step detail, give an example of how would you be able to physically access this dimension with another game. Also, I have doubts because I think that American, European, and whatever else games would have the same thing happen too if this was a real thing.
If you don't respond within 24 hours, then your entire post is definitely a LARP, and you will be considered a clown for the rest of your life.
The other half is in Final Fantasy VIII.
(You) must visit Balamb Garden.
Come on dude you should post the correct picture at least. You know the way to Balamb Garden in your heart.
Overall 9 was the best, followed by 8, I still can't decide between 7 and 10.
I made the mistake of replaying XIII multiple times each time thinking "it can't be that bad I must be misremembering something" and now the OST is weirdly nostalgic.
Sunleth Waterscape is the only track i remember.
I liked FF13 and I unironically think if it wasn't a Final Fantasy game people would like it.
It being called Final Fantasy is the least of its problems.
No, it is the games biggest problem. Look at Lost Odyssey a game that released a year prior. This game is cult classic and pretty well liked despite sharing a lot of the same problems like putting graphics above all else, important information only being presented in readable format (not actually true for 13 but was a meme back in the day), "easy" combat, and being linear. It also shares a lot of writing beats with Persona 3 like the way characters interact with each other and flawed people coming together with the weight of world on their shoulders. 13 being Final Fantasy also got people like Jontron and Spoony to look at the game and have their fans regurgitate their opinion about the game endlessy, the morons going hurdur not a real FF amongst other things. It's not a perfect game but it being a FF game doomed it to fail.
Nah, it's just a shitty game regardless of the labeling.
Nah, you are wrong because I said so 🙂
moron.
This but with 12. Ff12 would've been revolutionary if it wasn't an FF title
it was boring as frick with terrible wooden characters
pretty sure the only reason they made xiii-2 and LR was to use the rest of that leftover content
LR is kino tbh
I REALLY wanted Lightning to fart in-game. I wished he would have been giving one of her cute little "I'm a leader teehee" speeches and when she's trying to sound all high and mighty just let one out by mistake. I thought it would have been so cute and sexy, a major turn on.
I was thinking of how it would have been if I was there in that situation...I could have snuck up on her right before she let it rip and then I would have tasted and inhaled her essence completely. I bet it would have been like tasting/smelling cool whip mixed with strawberries but alas...that's an impossibility.
I have, in fact, played NONE of Final Fantasy XIII.
And I intend to keep it that way.
Goodbye.
No one has "played" FFXIII because all you do is start with buffs and debuffs then switch to DPS and mash auto battle
I SAID GOODBYE
XIII-2 is unironically one of the best FFs
FFXIII-2 could've released with literally no cutscenes, no dialogues, and just being a series hallways you time travel and battle through with no context, and it would've been a better game that way.
In gameplay and cgi cutscenes it's fine. Everything else is terrible.
LR = XIII >>> -2
death to serahgays overrating her fricking fauxkemon game
I have played a lot less than half, I can assure you that
When are we getting the full game?
>You've only played HALF of Final Fantasy XIII.
I've played precisely none of it
I liked 13 but replaying it is starting to change my mind. The parts I liked are still good but the parts I didn't like (anything centered around Snow or Hope) are so much worse a second time
Snow and Hope are some of the best parts and the clearest examples of character development in the game.
They're the clearest examples because they start out too shitty to not have to change. Character development doesn't automatically make something good, it has to be done well, take an ordinary character and make them good not take the worst characters and make them less shit but still the worst.
Everyone is a c**t in the early game except Sazh.
They aren't unreasonably moronic though. Also Sazh is a bit of a c**t, he forces Lightning to take him along with her and then immediately pulls a gun on her sister.
Snow's starting personality revolves around the idea that Serah's focus couldn't possibly go against her own morals and Hope's revolves around hating the man that he watched try to save his mother instead of saving himself before they both fell yet he has no issue with the other NORA members that were also recruiting people at the time that his mother insisted on volunteering. They developed because it would be unacceptable for them to stay that way, they were shit characters that barely improve.
I wish I’d only played half of FF13
Lightning is hot
i didnt like her as a main protagonist. i switched to snow asap and never switched her back. she was cooler as a background character in ff13-2
