Winged lion you son of a b***h.
Sounds like we're getting the final form of eating things to sever them from the dungeon's influence. I wonder how much of an effect that might have on future demon manifestations. Will the next one be missing the human connection and wish-world ambitions?
Interesting point I hadn't really considered, of Lion being sensitive to every single human motivation one might have.
So will Laios' autism defeat it?
Was it ever in doubt? The mystery is in the aftermath.
Wait, I'm a moron. I assumed Laius was getting Misurn to agree to eat demon, but he's probably just carrying out the plan for Farlyn. Unless...?
Why not both?
cute fake-out
Based Marcille.
OUT-FRICKING-SKILLED
really closed the book on this problem
Book'em, Danno.
Imagine if Laios went ahead and stabbed her before she could do her thing.
He was autistic enough to do it considering he thought that's what she wanted.
So that's the particular desire Lion ate.
So on the one hand our super hot elf mule all powerful wizard dungeon lord of the soon to be world had her inhibitions devoured, and no longer feels the need to hold back on anything.
On the other hand, she finally learned right from wrong, so I think we can call it a wash.
And on the other other hand, fricking tall-men runs in her genes.
The elf has finally learned right from wrong. Even if it is just a bit.
High INT, low WIS moments...
this is why you should have balanced build my friend.
I like how Lios doesn't react at all because he's in pain.
Took you long enough, ya' dummy.
>autistic screaming
>Well hold on guys
>What if we just asked for help
>...from the people that hate you
God I fricking love this High-Wis, Zero-Cha monster loving autist.
>Zero-Cha
What the frick? Laios wins everyone over. Even characters who start out as antagonists. Even when his plans are pure nonsense. He's a natural leader.
His absolute lack of social skills are well established. He's ended up on the right foot in the story because he's a monster autistic savant and they're in a dungeon filled with them, but remember, for instance, that he got taken advantage of by his first party and he thought Shuro was his buddy when actually the latter hated his guts and only tolerated him because he wanted to bone his sister.
>he thought Shuro was his buddy when actually the latter hated his guts and only tolerated him because he wanted to bone his sister.
Shuro is definitely annoyed by him and can't stand him but I do think he cares in his own way. Laios just doesn't understand humans enough to get why you would never want to be around someone but still care so he thinks Shuro doesn't think of him as a friend when really he's just the fricking annoying friend you keep at a distance to preserve your sanity. That does reinforce your point about his social skills though.
>Cithis is alive
Nice
>just a bit of cleavage
>sexy but realistic outfit
>same with the proportions
And yet this is hotter than most "huge anime breasts in microkinis" fanservice out there, how does she do it?
She's a natural 10.
This one isn't.
I say she is still a 7/10 without makeup. Maybe 6.5
This really makes me appreciate having a female mangaka for this story.
She's not that pretty.
I know you are only saying that because she's elven
She's a goddess, I just wanted a cheap (You) or two.
The reason is because perverts have no taste.
>just a bit of cleavage
cleavage so deep you can see her bra strap
>sexy but realistic outfit
tight pencil skirt and 4 inch heels is realistic for a porn shoot maybe
>same with the proportions
breasts nearly the size of her head, waist so high it's at her elbows
You have watched too much porn.
Ha! You grilled him good.
I took it to be "by manga standards". She's still stylized, but within the realm of possibility.
>the realm of possibility
Possibility within the realm of pornographic materials.
Sure, if you wanna keep tooting that horn, but the point is that it's not "anime proportions/outfits" stylization, but "idealized real life" stylization. It could be taken out of a photoshoot for a calendar, for example. Doesn't mean it's not sexualized (Cithis there is very blatantly hitting most "sexy secretary" tropes), but that it's more subtle than is the norm for manga fanservice by far. If she's taken out of a porno, it's the very first shot. Contrast with something like picrel (taken from GIS).
Nothing about this is unrealistic. Unusual maybe, but considering Cithis is highly on seduction it is perfectly believable.
Because personality and vibe matter. Weebs who just jerk off to 2D women don't care about that and tend to think more Booba = More hotter
HAS ANYONE SEEN THE JOKER?

funny mushrooms
I love the mushrooms, they look so jolly.
Is that Laios' dad?
Yes
Showing Laios' dad here was a nice touch. And weren't those dogs named after elvish deities in hope they would look over him and Falin?
cant spell defeating with out EATING.
I like how the vantablack elf stands there out of frame.
Man, the pixie things always make relatively serious panels still slightly funny.
Laios is making a lot of assumptions again.
I can basically hear the fairy go *squak* when squeezed.
Amazing that someone this tactless canary wasn't one of the criminals, because it's borderline so. Just fricking lie and tell the party they can discuss options once they distance themselves away from the dungeon instead of backing them into a corner where going back to the demon might be the better alternatives.
If she lied to them, you would also complain.
Yes but at least she'd be doing her job correctly
Yeah the situation is bad, but it could certainly be made worse by antagonizing the DM.
You can't put yourself into a character's point of view at all, unironically autism.
>this food is not good, the cook is not very good
>YOU CAN'T SEE FROM HIS PERSPECTIVE, LITERAL AUTISM
Why do I need to empathize with someone when pointing out they're objectively taking actions directly antithetical to their job?
Flamela is doing her job, is Mithurn that's stepping over the line. Of course we know Mithurn will be proven right by our heroes, bit you have to put yourself in her position.
Flamela is wrong but her actions are understandable from her perspective, she's missing a lot of info. Sometimes she sounds low-key brainwashed with the queen loyalty though.
I mean, thats her job. You don't get put into a position of authority over a bunch of ex-convicts and shit being sent into foreign lands to handle extremely dangerous wish-granting magical bullshit unless you are trusted beyond any shadow of a doubt. Nobody would be put in Flamela's position unless they were the most loyal person in the room.
As far as she knows, Laios has convinced the dungeon master to try to quit but not the reasons; I know >around elves watch yourselves, but letting the party think they'll be forgiven and killing Marcille the moment she lets down her guard would be a risk that costs way less lives than backing her into a corner and making her go down fighting (and if the bet fails leaves them in no worse a position). I know it's because she's more soldier than cop, but in her position and with her knowledge telling someone who is asking for terms that there'll be no forgiveness is backing a rat into a corner.
Flamela doesn't exactly have a strategic mind. It's implied she's the reason they got captured by orcs too. Sometimes I wonder if she just failed upwards into her position or if it's nepotism like people have speculated, but probably she's just really strong and most situations the Canaries deal with usually don't require any prudence.
I'm so mad Harta had a short chapter that month and Lin was cut.
To be fair, they're way past the point of just backing away from the 'danger zone' here, this is world ending territory. They can't just avoid it, they needed to stop it.
Though even then, Flamela's a moron since beating up the current DM won't do shit anyway.
Beating up the current dungeon master would at least stop said dungeon master from further spreading the dungeon, commanding monsters and doing all kinds of other evil magic shit. it's really not unreasonable to target them first.
It's precisely because she's not one of the criminals that she can't deviate herself from doing things by the book and being flexible enough to take chances where they present themselves.
It's easy for the reader to call Flamela stupid.
She's in the right acting the way she was instructed to giving her context. Mithurn can think outside of the box because of his personal experience as dungeon lord and being driven by a single desire to defeat demons.
The elves have always sucked at diplomacy. They operate under the assumption that anyone taken in by the demons has been thoroughly seduced and brainwashed and trying to reason with them is pointless. By all appearances that's usually the right call, but they didn't count on our party's impenetrable autism.
>and trying to reason with them is pointless
The underworld dwarf, Laios lying to them and Marcille summoning the demon didn't exactly prove them wrong.
Yeah, I'm not one to go "the Canaries did nothing wrong" because they're a bunch of condescending pricks who haven't given any vital info unless it was pried out of them, but under the assumptions they were laboring under (which they had from previous similar situations), everything they saw was entirely consistent with the standard dungeon-demon-corruption cycle. And well, there's an apocalypse going on.
>who haven't given any vital info unless it was pried out of them
I wonder if that has already been posted.
>It would be a disaster if someone in a position of power discevered that fact.
Elves in positions of power being the one exception, of course.
So far, they seemed to have done a pretty good job with it.
Not really. There was at least one other 'demon breaking free' incident in the past 20 years (Kabru's backstory), and all 3 dungeon lords we have seen so far were at least part-elf.
Yes, really. These incidents are incredibly rare and even Utaya has been contained.
>There was at least one other 'demon breaking free' incident in the past 20 years (Kabru's backstory),
That's pretty good.
>and all 3 dungeon lords we have seen so far were at least part-elf.
Because elves know about it. Imagine how many cases there would have been, if other races would be aware of a wish granting demon.
I think its also just a matter of the demon preferring better food. The elves typically come from lands with a higher quality of life, and they are immortal. This means that, which their basic needs typically met, their desire will be for more esoteric things rather than just "I want food". And, probably more importantly, they will live longer and thus serve as a desire battery longer. We haven't been shown anything that implies that being the dungeon lord extends your lifespan, so picking a longer lived race over a shorter one is just generally going to be a better investment for an immortal demon.
A human is a snack. An Elf is a meal.
>and they are immortal
They aren't.
>they are immortal
According to Laios, elves live about 5 times as long as tall-men (Ch57p34).
>We haven't been shown anything that implies that being the dungeon lord extends your lifespan
Thistle has been a dungeon lord for at least 1000 years, and looks young. If Laios is actually correct, Thistle's natural lifespan has been extended. (But not necessarily by the lion itself, considering Thistle is a dark wizard)
Also, the demon has kept Yaad and the other humans from the past kingdom around (again, 1000+ years). King Dergal specifically must have had a physical body as well, because he left the dungeon as such.
Plus, while I wouldn't consider it a reliable source, the lion itself claimed that it could manipulate and equalize the lifespan of mortals as long as they remained within the dungeon.
Your post reminded me, Izutsumi is still carrying Yaad as a doll around her. I wonder what the purpose of all of this is going to be.
they're gonna be boat buddies
Approaching end of the world territory in less than the span of a half foot's lifetime doesn't sound very good.
>Imagine how many cases there would have been, if other races would be aware of a wish granting demon.
Imagine a world where dungeons were proactively guarded like the threat they are instead of just letting anyone in until someone gets their hands on the world-ending power anyway.
>Imagine a world where dungeons were proactively guarded
It only takes one power hungry lord who suppose to guard it and everything is doomed. Ignoring the amount of adventurers who would actively try penetrate the dungeon and search for the demon.
It only takes one person encountering the demon and going unnoticed with the current method. If the races all worked together, you wouldn't be leaving the guarding to any one group.
I don't believe your post.
You can't possibly this naive. There is no way you actually believe your own arguments you are presenting.
it seems the Captain has a small redesign. He went from having a lazy eye to having no eyeball but still having eyelids, after he was revived
makes him less dopey, I like it.
Can't wait for it to be an error and have it returned to status quo
Kui wouldn't let a mistake like that pass.
There was that vanishing doll in Thistle's house that got fixed for paperback release.
Background stuff is understandable, but the way this woman drawns all her characters in different ways and clothes all the time fell to me like it's literally impossible for her to forget a character trace, no matter how minor it is.
Not everyone is running at 100% 100% of the time, especially when you're working against a deadline. Manga authors generally have assistants who help with the artwork too, and could make mistakes for her as well. Doesn't matter how good you are, you're always going to have off days, and you're going to mistakes, especially given a long enough timeframe. It's inevitable.
Mithrun's right eye was crushed by the goat demon when it ate almost all of his desires, after that he used a prosthetic.
It makes sense that it didn't regrow from the resurrection magic, but one has to wonder why he couldn't regain his eye through healing magic in the first place.
Oh yeah! It could be because of the nature of the wound (inflicted by a demonic entity), or it could be due to the nature of healing magic in and out of Dungeons (We already know that the only reason you can resurrect someone in a dungeon is due to the nature of the dungeon trapping the soul of the deceased in there, so maybe body part regeneration isn't possible outside a dungeon since the air outside isn't as saturated with mana as it is in a dungeon).
I don't remember there being a moment where it was lost, but yea it seems like he lost his prosthetic eye (which was giving him the appearance of a lazy eye). Dude's take enough hits and been thrown across long enough distances that it's quite possibly it was knocked loose, but I would be interested to see if one could pinpoint the moment, maybe even confirm whether or not she illustrated it coming loose, but it was a small enough detail in a panel to be missed.
it literally exploded with the rest of his face when marcille blew his head open, there's nothing to see
Flamela status: yeeted. I now have no more reason to read this manga.
Best boy is back.
I forgot, does Mithurn outrank Flamela?
It feels like they are about equal in rank.
The other canary troops call her captain, don't they?
Ranks don't matter when you have this much hatred for demons.
She's very likely the Queen's daughter, so no. This is just Misurn being the autist we all love and giving no fricks.
I deeply appreciate how Mithrun is literally physically incapable of giving a frick about anything except for killing demons.
>Mithrun: KILL THE DEMON AND YOU HAVE MY TOTAL SUPPORT
I love this autist.
"DEMONS could be here" he thought "I've never been in this dungeon configuration before. There could be DEMONS anywhere." The cool breeze felt good against his svelte, androgynous chest. "I HATE DEMONS" he thought. The sound of Marcille's crying reverberated around the entire dungeon, echoing even as newly regenerated blood circulated through his powerful thick veins and washed away his (merited) fear of demons after ascension. "With teleportation magic, you can go anywhere you want" he said to himself, out loud.
>"With teleportation magic, you can go anywhere you want" he said to himself, out loud.
lmao
Beautiful.
Bretty gud anon
Why do I hear black metal?
Oh.
I really like this because the captain's one desire is his hatred of demons.
They got out the invitations. Will it be just a "we saved the world" celebration or Laios and Marcille's wedding.

This really drives home how threatening the demon really is. Goddamn it Kui I don't want this series to end.
I mean, parts of that look edible. That's a start right?
The demon looks positively fresh and ripe.
>Rules of Nature starts playing

>biblically accurate lions
>Ok guys, I've got good news, the demon looks to be made of flesh, animal flesh at that, so eating it should be ok.

>When did I say there are bad news?
METATRON LIVES
Why does every webcomic that starts good turn into dykes drama?
IT'S TIME TO GO FISHING, GRAB YOUR RODS BOYS
TIME TO GO BERSERK
I almost want the demon to win and break out, just so Kui can give us a whole chapter of spreads like this and that sideways image of the goat demon breaking out in story. That hatching is so fricking metal.
I hope at least the Hell Energy dimension will look suitably fricking bizzaro.
Everyone is understandably afraid of what might happen if the world gets absorbed by the dungeon, but the fact of the matter is that no one actually KNOWS what the consequences of that will be. The demon is manipulative, but even now it doesn't appear to be actively malevolent. Life in demon world need not inherently be a bad thing, its just a change of the rules.
t. Winged Lion
idk guys I think the lion might still secretly be a good guy.
>idk guys I think the lion might still secretly be a good guy.
I like how he's picking the tower as if it was a chess piece instead of a more accurate representation of a building being thorn apart and lifted.
Is it weird that I think he's not mocking them but actually agreeing to fulfil their desire to beat him, in a way?
>lower left panel
>ARE

>SHIT

>demon actually waits
you know, he might not be so bad
laius said it earlier, the demon has eaten so many human desires at this point that it's started feeling human feelings and thinking human thoughts
Next Episode, Laio's tries to tell Slaanesh to turn everything down a notch.
It's an immortal indestructible eldritch abomination that can only be temporarily sealed. He's not in a rush and worst of all, probably bored.
Liaos is enough of a fun entertaining autist that even the Winged Lion has to stop and enjoy his struggles.

And that's it! The news of another daydream hour, board game, and anime is welcome! Thanks for reading.
>It's getting a board game
It's official now.
LEGALLY ALLOWED ON /TG/ WITH NO LOOPHOLES.
It was never in question, just trolls, new & old, constantly trying to stir up shit.
Anybody know where I can buy Japanese boardgames shipped to the states?
If you make an Amazon account on the Japanese site you can order some.
Brilliant! I wish my brain wasn't so deep fried by work that I thought of it first.
/tg/
It's come full circle. Inspired by /tg/, spiritually /tg/, and now finally becoming /tg/.
The board game sold out basically instantly btw.
Don't let the yurigays take this from you /tg/. Although I heard someone say Kui is a lesbian, but I dunno if that's true.
she's just a gal who, like most women, can appreciate what a good looking woman looks like. /u/gays are delusional.
Kaoru Mori is probably as gay as a rainbow above Holland's tulip fields during a Pride Parade though.
C/u/cks can get the rope but Falin/Marcille is cute enough I'm fine with either Touden sibling bagging her tbh
A threesome is the optimal outcome here (for Marcille).
Fricking a chick with your sister seems uncomfortable. I think the preferred outcome is the three live together with the siblings in their own rooms and Marcille picks which one she bangs each night.
I think Kui's made w/w stories before, but I haven't read them. Frankly it feels like Marcille would happily be the meat in a Thorden sandwich.
Wow, I can't believe it won't even reach chapter 100.
Can you stat the party?
Farlyn cheeks cute. CUTE.
Neither puserra nor pusella turn up any kind of cake for me. Anyone know?
Maybe it's a play on Castella?
it's a fake cake brand, the romanization doesn't matter too much
Kui already did
Sure but I'm thinking about stating them in actual western systems. 5e is pretty obvious, I'm just not sure about their levels based on their feats.
Laios definately has Charisma as his dump stat.
Kot is strong as Laios and faster too. Best DPS.
I like how the top one is a joke.
>no dexterity
Chillchuck got fricking robbed.
The radar chart is missing some parameters to properly illustrate all of the party's specialties. Chilchuk's DEX (and how it differs from what one might call a DEX-focus DPS like kot), dwarves' lack of stamina, how most of the party is very competent in their field of specialization but hopeless outside it, how Kabru is great at killing humans but trash at dealing with monsters, how Shuro would kick Laius' ass in a fight (when not starving and exhausted at least) despite being smaller and weaker than him, so on and so forth. It's also interesting how Marcille and Fallin are pretty generalist casters within their areas of specialty (offensive/evocation and defensive/restorative, putting them somewhere analogous to a wizard and cleric respectively) but can still tap into the others' expertise, while the Canaries are mostly one-trick ponies (possibly due to messing around with ancient magic) but very very good at their one specialty.
Doubt that the canaries would really be one trick ponies. Cithis apparently has fire magic next to be an illusionist primarily, and they can do resurrection magic like anyone else. It's not unreasonable to assume that they have many different spells at hand, just like all the other spellcasters that we followed around have shown more and more spells at their disposal. The one true one trick pony would be Lycion as he doesn't really seem to be a mage in the first place, just a shapeshifter.
Well also that one druggie familiar controller elf who is utterly useless.
Fleki's familiar alone did a dungeon speedrun to bring the teleport spell to Mithurn.
Damn Laius has fat fricking stats. Something like 16 STR/DEX 18 CON 16 INT 14 WIS 6 CHA
He actually seems to be the most well balanced of them all with good stats in everything except the meme skill nobody shares with the others. Makes sense, since he's the one who's really made a living out of adventuring while the others are either adjacent but not fully dedicated to it (Marcille studying related topics, Senshi making a living in a dungeon but without looking at the science of it all), only focus on one aspect of it (Chilchak specializing in traps and locks but not really caring beyond that) or flat out have nothing to do with that and little interest and just happens to be a good fighter (Izutsumi).
Will Laios be able to defeat the demon of the dungeon? Will Mithra be able to arrange Laio's dinner party? Join us on the next exciting episode of Dungeon Meshi called:
Fed to the Lions
or
Battle of the Bowels!
I've come from the other thread to inform you that Namari is hot, and might be best girl.

it was never in doubt to the true believers and you're probably an elf.

I don't like the elf, its smug aura mocks me.
Oh, hadn't seen this one before. Have more race swaps been made?
Nice.
>halfling falin
Imagine how laid back and good at cuddling gnome farlin must be.
I like how whatserface, Kabru's elf helicopter mama, subtly looks her age as a human. Had no idea our maniacal little jester was blond either.
Every version of Failin is too cute and I love her.

Elf Namari is nice and all but there's something very eppealing in how human Namari is drawn. Something about the eyes, the expression, I dunno.
I think Elf Namari's expression is better, slightly teasing in a good way, but Human is a little better in every other respect.
I made a mildly amusing thing.
Kek, good lawyerin'. Is it a reference to anything?
I think it's from an episode of Red Dwarf.
What is chilchucks weird vest even supposed to be
God DAMN it Marcille
Made me gut laugh. I don't get the reference, but I assume it's Baldur's Gate?
Marcille's autism truly knows no bounds.
Kui will finish Berserk! I know it!
Hey this looks like those baldurs gate portraits. Wtf is this
The mangaka played these games and drew some portraits.
Total bullshit
nohp
Why would we lie about something so easy to google to confirm? Ryoko Kui+Baldur's Gate
Manga by the artist who made those portraits. Fantasy series about delving into a dungeon to try save a member of the party where the cast have to scavenge to survive. Great blend of comedy, worldbuilding, detailed artwork, and food porn written by a westaboo who loves RPGs like baldurs gate and wizardry.
Kui is a fan of Baldurs gate, she even did her own fan portraits of it.
Why the frick Is they a fan of it?
Apparently, a lot of people liked these games.
But she can't even speak english
Sometimes, video games are also translated to foreign languages.
Anon do you really think that games aren't translated in different languages?
The enhanced editions of BG 1 & 2 on Steam have japanese translations
semi-relevant
Banking on exhausting a (functional) immortal's patience is a losing game.
>t. small head anon
>never heard of ENG > JP translations
Anon, Dungeon Meshi was inspired by the author's experience with Pathfinder. Where have you been in this globalized day and age?
>Dungeon Meshi was inspired by the author's experience with Pathfinder
That's not true. Where do these rumors even come from?
It's weird that anyone would believe that. The manga can't possibly be based or have anything to do with Pathfinder, because it's good.
It's actually based off the Wizardry CRPG series.
I'm so used to manga sameface that Kui's skill at character design and portraits actually blows me away.
Would've been nice to get a bit more of evil DM marcille..
She's just too much of a dork to be evil.
Obligatory.
I have this weird feeling they're going to overload the demon with human emotion is some way and convert it into full human
And then kill it?
Nah, they'll all just have a massive meal at the end and laugh it off
>Everyone keeps talking about how to stop the dungeon from getting under control
>Only Laios brings up the idea of killing the demon
No wonder the Captain was so eager to help him, he's doing the one thing he gives a shit about.
It also helps that the literal first thing he heard after coming back up from the dead was "I'll go and defeat the winged lion!"
Music to his ears.

If it was so easy they would have done it before.
What's your favorite canary? For me it's Lycion
Mithrun. It's so hard to find strong male elves from japanese media with cool powers. His story is also interesting and his demon-autism amusing - until an actual demon shows up.
It's ridiculous how good this manga is. Let's hope Trigger does it justice.
As long as they don't start rewriting stuff, it'll be fine. I enjoy their visual style, but God damn is their writing sometimes utter garbage.
Dumping stuff.
>Sally-Anne test.
These illustrations should be from the latest Daydream Hours.
These elves are so cute.
Look at that spreading pussy.
https://coub.com/view/28w4og
We need to check how many nipples she has
2, it's on here:
Well, I still want to see them.
Me too.
I love that their little fairies resemble them.
A cute. A CUTE!
Laios fails the Sally-Anne test.
Laios isn't as smart as he thinks he is.
Eh, even a monster autist doesn't have encyclopedic knowledge of every bit of mythology out there. His upbringing was pretty sheltered too. Remember that a lot of what he knows and dreamt of he got from a supposed monster-eating adventurer's books only to find out that at the very least the monster eating bits were bunk when he got to try it for himseld.
I'm curious what Kui would do with Burgerstan's shittier cryptids
That would be hilarious. Especially if she did Hoop Snakes.
Though I'd still like to see the other way more dangerous ones.
Of course you've got Wendigo's and Skinwalkers. You've also got Wampus Cat's, Snow Wasset's, Melon Heads, Boo-hags, Utenka, the Ozark Howler, various swamp monsters, Scrap Iron Jack, and various beastmen (Lizard man, Dogman, and Ape Folk).
It's insane how good Kui is at worldbuilding
Man, she can get away with a lot due to being covered in hair
It amazes me that all the characters are clearly individuals despite a simpler art style. Though she draws detailed bodies and clothes on top of them.
The art style, being simple, allows for a much wider variety of face shape than most anime uses. Anime style typically has a stock face shape uses for 95% of the cast, only outliers like old people or buff dudes deviate from it. In Dungeon Meshi, each race has its own range of unique face shapes and features that make them instantly identifiable as being of that race, and each character has their own specific face shape on top of that.
Think of it this way: its a common meme that you can take almost any shonen male and turn them into a woman by giving them eyelashes and longer hair, because everything else is basically the same anyway. But you can't do the same thing with this manga, it would just look like the male character wearing makeup and a wig. Which is a GOOD thing, because it means that the faces are more distinct.
Let's go.
I am so tired of this lolfewd comic
Since when is food related to /tg/?
Caught in the act, my infernal friend.
Since people bring food to rpg sessions, Satan.
Silence, Satan. Food as always been tabletop relevant.
I love Dragon's Crown.
I love the ebin references
quick! hit is with the blessed hand grenade of Antioch!
Get back in the book Lion
>Since when is food related to /tg/?
the resident autists are literally called fa/tg/uys
Since soon.
>he never played games with his food
You're gonna get eaten and there's nothing you can do about it, Winged Lion.
Vade retro satana!
why is laios so adorkable
He is like an autistic dog, but human.
Billy Bat???
>that Laios
But I like the lion 🙁
Literally an evil demon anon.
Not evil, just Hungry Neutral, and its feeding seems to result in brain death.
There's no way you expect me to believe that ryoko kui played baldurs gatem she can't speak English and has zero perspective on this stuff. What the frick other games has she played??
Games are translated in Japanese sometimes, you know.
Name names then. She has zero perspective on western fantasy has she even read tolkien? Baldurs gate is OUR thing. I don't like this at all. It feels like it's taking away from my enjoyment
I hope this is just some really stupid bait.
What other games does she play. Prove it. I need to know how this happened
(you) are aware that games get translated all the time right? Westaboos are as real as weebs and Kui has clearly shown a love of western fantasy (as dungeon meshi seems to be a blend of east and west fantasy). There is a good chance she's read tolkein, played dwarf fortress, and enjoys many things that are popular in /tg/ circles. Hell I think she's even called this site out in particular. For more westaboo manga, check out "The Hero, The Dragon, and Courier." That author has unironic westaboo autism and includes historical rundowns in each chapter
>Hell I think she's even called this site out in particular
An anon got his volume signed and asked for it to be dedicated to /tg/.
That the same anon who claimed she has a wedding ring?
yes she is married to me.
It was some doodle like this but with "/tg/" written.
Forgot my pic.
This?
There it is.
Becauss it's not fair. She's played more games than me and is better at art and all this narrative stuff than I could ever be. Why do some people genuinely have it all? It's not fair.
People have different talents. Every river reaches the ocean in its own way and all that. Get off your fat ass and stop pitying yourself. The best day to begin improvement was yesterday, the second best day is today. Keep working at it.
I have no talents and nothing to improve at
you must love yourself before you may love others
I'm too shit at games and drawing. I've never drawn in my life.
you do not need to be good at games or drawing to find enjoyment in these things
Yes I do.
that is a choice you are consiously making and you can choose to stop making this choice
No it's not a choice it's just how I work.
I can't do anything
There's nothing I can do. I'm not the type of person who's passionate about anything to do anything. I can't even muster the energy to get out of bed for ten years. At my age Even if I devoted my time to a passion I magically acquired i still wouldn't be worth a shit by the time I'm old. And I don't even have a passion to begin with. I don't even ha e a hobby. I can't find anything. Why are some people so lucky to find something while they're young and I cant find anything at all
>There's nothing I will do
FTFY, once again proving to everyone here the issue is you, nobody is stopping you, nothing is blocking you. You don't get to act like a bitter little sissy when you put no effort whatsoever, and no amount of whining will convince anyone otherwise. You're not a victim of circumstance, you're the culprit. This is 100% on (you).
what is the thing he wants to do?
He wants to find something he can pour his energy and passion, but doesn't want to try anything to find out what that something is. He wants it to come to him as some sort of mystical revelation. To be fair, this is very likely the fault of his parents, who raised him badly, offering him no guidance. It's not the first time I encounter people like this online.
Man I wish I had energy and passion. I've been trying to develop these, and have been able to cultivate moderate interest.
Maybe we can make some kind of giant machine to transfer his to me.
Just get off Ganker and be productive.
I enjoy some Ganker now and then, though. I also enjoy some productivity. I see no reason to cut one or the other unless I have something that demands more time than my current hobbies.
I try to minimize how many drugs I have to take a day, to prevent the kidney and liver death of my immediate forebears.
it's called anti-depressants
anti-depressants were discovered to be ineffective since it turns out brain chemistry doesn't work as theorized. Diet and environment are apparently bigger contributing factors but i can't kick those fresh cans of corn syrup.
now, this WAS just one study. And it doesn't do anything to show effects don't occur, it just claims it doesn't work how we thought.
The study compiled 10 years worth of studies from around the world. All the data was there they just took it all and printed out what was shown.
the points stand, though.
Literally what am I supposed to do?
Go to a therapist and tell them these things so they can make a plan with you to address your issues. Nobody here can help you when the root of your problems is that you don't want to start anything.
>I'm too shit at games
Unless you're a paraplegic or something, you can't be "shit" at RPGs. Just reload a save if you screw up.
>I've never drawn in my life
Neither did any single mangaka before the first time they drew something.
There's nothing stopping you but yourself. You could pick a pencil and a piece of paper and spend an hour a day for a couple of years doodling stick figures and go from there.
But that's the secret, Evelyn: You can do anything, because you're bad at everything.
Play more games? Spend your time drawing until you get good? Or are you that kind of moron that thinks magakas just pick a pencil and a masterpiece appears out of the blue? They spend hundreds of hours drawing.
If you want to be better at art then put in the time and draw. Drawing is a skill, and people use talent as an excuse to cop out of actually put in the work to develop it. Instead of b***hing on Ganker about some professional who has been doing it professionally for years on end, fricking take that pencil and put it to paper you little shit.
I'm not sure why you're looking for her nerd bonafides so bad, and not sure if this is like a race thing, a misogyny thing, autism, or some combination of the three, but close your browser and go outside. You don't have to be here. You can escape at any time.
>a misogyny thing
No, you have leave.
Here's (You)
have a nice day
This has to be bait.
>zero perspective on western fantasy
The entire manga is based on western fantasy, what have you been smoking?
Why did the fact a known fantasy fan and author with a love of rpg tropes played a very popular fantasy rpg mindbreak you this hard?
moron
>What the frick other games has she played??
Based off her blog and old tumblr?
>Pathfinder Kingmaker & Wrath of the Righteous
>Planescape: Torment
>An untold number of Wizardry games
>Legend of Grimrock (this has a surprising number of jp made mods too as an aside)
>Divinity: Original Sin 2
>Shadowrun Dragonfall (and possibly Hong Kong)
She also mentioned interest in Disco Elysium which got a jp translation a while ago but no idea if she played it yet.
Her options are sorta limited by what has official or fan TLs.
Why the fricking frick would she play those???
Because frick you that's why.
games are fun?
Why are you pretending to be confused by this?
he cant believe that Kui is the perfect woman.
>incredibly rich inner world
>great talent as an illustrator and comics artist
>deep interest in fantasy, RPGs, and her own particular ecology focused worldbuilding
>based off her minimal social media presence also seems very pleasant as a person too
I don't care what she looks like, I'd pay money just to be able to talk to her about whatever shit she's working on or playing
Based on the work and detail put into Meshi, she probably would just be genuinely really interesting to talk to about fantasy stuff, and probably more.
>first instinct is to simp
She's not some e-thot.
>if you make a hyperbolic statement about how interesting you find an author and the lengths you'd go to interact with them you're a simp
C'mon anon, its not like I was saying I want her feet pics or used underwear like some freak.
>I'd pay money just to be able to talk to her
Textbook simping.
What? You wouldn't want to have a sitdown with a writer/artist whose work you like and pick their brain?
>moving goalposts
The Anon said:
>I don't care what she looks like, I'd pay money just to be able to talk to her about whatever shit she's working on or playing
That's picking their brain.
Paying a girl to her talk about a game she's playing is simping.
Imagine cooking a meal with her.
Because she is a fantasy nerd.
>Legend of Grimrock japanese mods
Quick rundown?
https://w.atwiki.jp/grimrock
Here is (one) JP fansite for it that has news and links and so on. Some of its just guides or TLs for English stuff, others are JP made.
Neato, thanks anon.
The older (>30) Japanese LOVE first-person dungeon crawlers. I'm not surprised at all that LoG is known there.
That's pretty surprising to see an indie game like that make it big overseas.
Heartwarming though. LoG was a very fun time. Lizardman knight and minotaur barbarian up front, human rogue and Lizardman caster in the back.
I should really get back and finish LoG2, but I'd probably have to restart since all my notes I made to myself are gibberish on the map.
>That's pretty surprising to see an indie game like that make it big overseas.
Wizardry games were a genuine hit in Japan to the point it spawned the DRPG genre over there via countless copycats, and there's a ton of JP exclusive entries in the series. There's a big fanbase for blobbers and Grimrock was a shiny new one from the West they could actually play for a change so I guess it pulled people in.
she also played darkest dungeon, return of the obra dinn, weird west, pokemon, her story, triangle strategy, witcher 3, youkai watch, cuphead, sunless sea, and the donkey kong country games. anyway, you guys should stop replying because this is the most blatant pretending to be dumb for replies i've seen in a while and has just devolved into blogging at this point
>She also mentioned interest in Disco Elysium
How can a woman be this based?
Disco Elysium is trash though, which is why she didn't finish it, according to her never mentioning it again.
She mentioned it before it was localised, anon
Yes, you're agreeing with my post.
Men? Nothing. Women? To play with their ears.
I really love it and that's what matters
Are any of these games good? I don't play games. I wish I was as smart as Kui sensei
>knows a lot about food
>plays a lot of RPG
Kui is fat, confirmed.
Just means there's more of her to love
Wait I actually thought the lion was good why is he mean now
The lion is good if (You) believe it.
Don't listen to the elf propaganda lionbro /ourguy/ will prove them wrong next chapter
The lion has good facial expressions at least, so there is some goodness in him.
it's not that he's doing this because he wants people to suffer or die, but his goal would result in the entire world being consumed. even if that somehow doesn't kill everyone, it would result in a hellish purgatory where everyone's numb to everything because they're granted whatever they want all the time, as seen with the golden kingdom. also, he makes his appearance look evil as hell while doing this for some reason.
What you posted is a small metallic decoration on the hilt of a sword, he doesn't have much muscle control over it.
okay, but like, this
and this
are pretty evil-looking
It's a giant mass of monsters, of course it's horrifying. As soon as he forms a shape he takes a more gentle aspect. Just look at the middle panel here and tell me he's evil.
you know what, you're right. he looks very trustworthy and i'm sorry i doubted him
>everyone's saying the lion isn't good
>the lion waits when it is called for
fricker abides time outs
>the desire-eating interdimensional "creature" follows DBZ logic
>maybe it is good?
anon...
You now realize that Goku is more evil than winged lion.
how can you stay mad at this face
I would frick Namari until my hips broke
i sure hope you have long legs and/or leg pouches because she's probably going to leave you once you can't use those anymore unless your leg game exquisite
What are elves for?
Absolutely nothing!
If we don't get an official cookbook I'm gonna be pissed
Why not? What's the worst that could happen? At worst, you end up killing yourself, which frees you from your burden, and it frees us from you, so it's a win/win. At best, you succeed at handling your issues and you also win. You have nothing to lose here, which means it's nothing but gain.
What else do I need to know besides you being a whiny homosexual with a penchant to seek for pity while ruining threads?
she will be back
oh shit. Bump.
You're about 150 posts too late for that.
